That is very good. What are the voltages and the clocks?

hynix: 1.050v 1000/1500
eloida 1.088v 1000/1500

I adjusted the stock bios

Has anyone compared Claymore 6.0 under Windows with alternative Linux miners (like Optiminer etc.)?

Especially for old 270x, 280x, 290x AMD cards.
Yes, 100s/s lower on 5 280x for optiminer...

Edit,
To be honest, the performance on 280x with Hynix is the same, ~140-144 s/s, 280x with elpida, ~130s/s, however for 7950, Claymore 6.0=127s/s, Optiminer = 70s/s
The reason may be not exactly the "miner", drivers also have a finger in this....

What motherboard/cpu/ram/os/drivers are you using for those speeds?

I was reading about the cpu that i have its a G3258 with stock 3.2 GHz  but it seems like this cpu can be overclocked to 4.7 GHz and sometimes even higher but what i was wondering if i overclock this one will it be effective, will i see some higher Hash speeds in my rig? Somebody maybe already did this or somebody how nows that this will give something more in the rig? For gaming it will be better but will this also for zcash mining @ this higher block rates?

Can someone help me to set up nicehash pool on BTC address? It doesn't show me hashing in their web interface when I search after my BTC address that has been set up in the config file Sad
i'm also newbie here, we're on same page,
pm me i'll help
Here are the command line copy & pastes:

USA - San Jose (WestHash)
ZecMiner64.exe -zpool equihash.usa.nicehash.com:3357 -zwal BTCADDRESS -allpools 1 -dbg -1

Europe - Amsterdam (NiceHash)
ZecMiner64.exe -zpool equihash.eu.nicehash.com:3357 -zwal BTCADDRESS -allpools 1 -dbg -1

China - Hong Kong (WestHash)
ZecMiner64.exe -zpool equihash.hk.nicehash.com:3357 -zwal BTCADDRESS -allpools 1 -dbg -1

Japan - Tokyo (WestHash)

ZecMiner64.exe -zpool equihash.jp.nicehash.com:3357 -zwal BTCADDRESS -allpools 1 -dbg -1

List of Stratum servers for Nicehash

Optional commands:

-mport   remote monitoring/management port. Default port is 3333, specify "-mport 0" to disable remote monitoring/management feature.
Specify negative value to enable monitoring (get statistics) but disable management (restart, uploading files), for example, "-mport -3333" enables port 3333 for remote monitoring, but remote management will be blocked.
You can also use your web browser to see current miner state, for example, type "localhost:3333" in web browser.

-i   mining intensity. Possible values: 0...4. 0 - lowest intensity and CPU usage, 4 - maximal intensity. You can also specify values for every card, for example "-i 4,2,4". Default value is "4".

-dbg   debug log and messages. "-dbg 0" - (default) create log file but don't show debug messages.
"-dbg 1" - create log file and show debug messages. "-dbg -1" - no log file and no debug messages.

I keep my -dbg to -1, because i don't need logs.

-mport 0 is what i use, i don't need remote monitoring.

-allpools 1, not sure if this is still needed for Nicehash, but i'll leave it there because i don't think it matters.

I leave -i alone.

Nicehash specific feature!

You can limit your miners to work on NiceHash only if the payment is good enough. You can still leave NiceHash as your primary stratum server. NiceHash stratum server will only be activated if the current average payment as displayed on NiceHash.com front page matches your price threshold. Otherwise miners will work normally on your backup/secondary pool.

Connect your miner to NiceHash and use password p=price instead of x.

Your miner will get disconnected from NiceHash stratum if current average payment is lower then your treshold. Miners will automatically reconnect to NiceHash stratum again when current average payment matches your price threshold.

The unit for the p= price parameter is according to the paying rate units as shown on the home page.

So for 0.1btc per day PER KHASH:

On your miner client, make sure you're using -u BTCADDRESS

After a few minutes, browse to: https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp?p=miners&addr=BTCADDRESS

See sample below / 1st post in this thread

nicehash ZEC pool:
   ZecMiner64.exe -zpool stratum.zcash.nicehash.com:3357 -zwal t1RjQjDbPQ9Syp97DHFyzvgZhcjgLTMwhaq -zpsw x

 nicehash Equihash pool:
   ZecMiner64.exe -zpool equihash.usa.nicehash.com:3357 -zwal 1LmMNkiEvjapn5PRY8A9wypcWJveRrRGWr -zpsw x

interesting...

according to this site the current reward for zcash is 7.4 zec per block... a few hours ago i read somewhere that the reward was 5.something zec.. it's increasing so fast..

https://explorer.zcha.in/statistics/network

I wonder when approximately the reward will reach 12.5...

early December?

https://z.cash/blog/slow-start-and-mining-ecosystem.html

Claymore - we feel the need for speed!

yes it's possible.... early december or maybe sooner....

and I also wonder when approximately Claymore will release his 7th version... hmmmm...

Probably when I leave for holiday so I can't upgrade the miner lol

hahaha..
