v3.0:

- improved speed by 20-30% (depends on card model). Up to 80H/s on stock 390X on "-i 2" mode.

PS. For those haters who think that I'm a thief and steal someone's code: don't use my miners, my efforts are not for you!
Nice work

Noice! I think those haters were mostly ppl who were butthurt that they were the only ones getting good speeds because they were on linux, and you levelled the playing field, so they decided to start some FUD. You punched em right in the profits! Cheesy

Help!!!   GPU returned incorrect data

I cut off one by one gpu
I disabled the gpu one by one and found a video card problem.
I increased the power to 1.2 volts per core.
This high. But there is no data error

I do not use -i x

@Claymore
there's some weird behavior with -cclock & -mclock
On a rig of four I'm running zec miner on a single card, like this:

Code:
-di 2

Yet I need to specify that the other clocks should not be touched:

Code:
-cclock 0,0,0,1080
-mclock 0,0,0,1500

Otherwise all cards get these settings.

Is this because you don't know the proper enum order, or you can fix it?

stop using -i 2 with 280(x) / 79x0, this is the root cause

for some reason, first time i used 2.1 with "-i 2" on my 270x cards, now im having all sorts of problems.

2.1 wont mine (no text past the [CLAYMORE] header), and nicehashminer crashes the system when initializing devices.
-i 2 is to high  for 270.... Use 1

Same thing here, with 280x cards i=2, now I'm trying i=1, r9 390 cards are fine. (v2.1)

Dear folks,

after killing the mobo of my old XW8600 when squeezing to much Sols out of my 2 290x cards I'm in need of a new system.

For the ready made systems there are 2 Options right now to be optained "cheap" (around 600,-- €). Both come with ~1100W PSU.

Dell T7500 - 2x Xeon X5650 SSD 128GB HDD 1TB Ram 48GB - 1100 watt 85PLUS Power Factor Correcting (PFC) power supply
HP Z800 -        2x Xeon L5640 SSD 128GB              Ram 24GB - 1110 watts 89% efficient power supply

Any preferences ?

Shall be used for working and mining in the background or when idle.

Thanks
Peter

i don't think this miner kills your motherboard it use less power than other miner

how can poeple buy so expensive hardware ? for mining
it s already hard to pay back cheap one

better buy all the piece separately and build you a cheaper miner computer
you can use 2 psu   lot cheaper than 1, use a asrock motherboard,  4gig of ram is enough and you probably alredy have a hard drive

and using a computer you need for work and mining is not a good idea

Anyway, it's toasted. :-( I shutdown the miner after playing exzessive with the clock/memory speeds, got a blackscreen and cannot go higher than std. res. with 4 different cards. The cards work in other PC's. So it's quite sure the PCI Slot is toast.

I need a new WS for work now anyway ...

Using a computer at all is never a good idea.  Wink

I second this. Is there a reason you need 2 x slow hexacores from pre sandy bridge days? Why not just replace the motherboard and PSU on your current system? I don't recommend doing any mining at all with dell or hp no-name PSUs.

I tried to configure my batch Claymore file to work/mine ZCL Zcash Classic(new coin) on https://pool.mn/zclassic , but keeps crashing.

Anyone knows if is possible and if yes what do we put in the batch file?

This is my batch file for mining zclassic on coinmine.pl.  this is for a r9 280 GPU (non x version).

set GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR=0
set GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE=100
set GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1
set GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
set GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT=100

ZecMiner64.exe -tt 76 -zpool zcl.coinmine.pl:7007 -zwal xxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxx -zpsw 1 -allpools 1

it seems to me not so much profitable.

Zcash 24 our 380 h/s = $15.45

ETH 24 our  350 mh/s = $26.39

ETHC 24 our 350 mh/s = $24.03

if for cards 470 480 380x 390x do not get to 100 h / s to not see well card

 Huh Huh Huh

Your equihash rate is way too low. If done right it should be double of what ethash rates are.

That is about right. For my AMD R9 390, it can do 30MH/s. For the ZEC, it can do 60 slol/s or 30H/s. 1H/s = 2 Sol/s.

60 on a r9 390 (not x ?)  mine does 56-57  what clock you run at?

in total i do 410mh on ether and 860 on zcash (r9 270 has very good speed, close to 380's)

I had 58-60 sols/s for 390 nonx, the frequency is 1120/1250. The memory frequency does not need to be too high.

hum ok ,but mine cannot run above 1090/1525  for 1100 i have to use +13mv,  you decrease memory? i though it speed high memory speed
with msi afterburner i cannot under clock

i m running now 1090/1525 for 59mh
for r9 380 i keep stock speed, overclock very bad and make mostly no difference
