Sound good, yeah "Stratum Protocol"
could be included in the standard client one day so that all ppl can be servers for the thin clients based on the protocol  Smiley

edit: there is a small chance that gateways to bitcoin network collecting some fees for their services ?  would be a real incentive to run a full node that supports thin clients based on the proposed overlay protocol
