Quick Recap for current/potential investors first entering this thread

GPC has a great community, feel free to skim through the pages and see for yourself!  Grin

The developer (Bosman) has been in this thread every single day since launch reassuring people, he also has spent a considerable amount of time on chatboxes giving out free GPC

Bosman has also posted his working schedule - 6:30AM - 3:00PM EST he assured us he would be here, and he has been here every single time.

Early adopters, new investors have gone through quite a few waves the past few days, but we are still here holding, congrats we hold a coin worth its weight in gold!

The Whitepaper for Groupcoin has eta 10/08/14 - only 4 days away!

The one thing the developer is very prominent on is suggestions from the community, he welcomes them, so SPAM! - give your ideas or whatever it may be and they will be looked over!

This coin is not your coin, or my coin, or the developers coin - it is OUR coin

I am here to help as much as I can! If you have any questions just send me a personal message here - I am here literally 24 hours a day so I will reply !

I just sent my coins to Bittrex, but those does't show up in block explorer. It says invalid address.

It appears, I have lost my stake  Cry

I double checked the address. It is the same Bittrex generated for me.

Edit:

Coins just appeared. I don't know, why block chain explorer still shows an address as invalid.

this is starting to look like another pump and dump

Do you go around and make the same statement in every thread?

If you don't believe in this coin, then I suggest you move to a different thread. We don't need the negative vibe in here.

Thanks.

I would rather not see any artificial price movements that will damage the reputation of GPC, especially in its early days. Pump and dumps cite promises of grandeur and unique, cutting edge services in the near future.. with "screenshots" and the like.

I refuse to do that. I refuse to comment much on the future until I know the future is built and tested. A majority of a coin's value is derived from the confidence placed in it. Doing anything other than what I've already got prepared is reckless and does not serve our community in the long run.

Trust me, I get your concerns.. I've been there, and hurt by the scum that have manipulated us so many times in this space. I can't convince you to trust me.. all I can do is stick to my principles and deliver on what is ready. This is a no "bullshit zone". I hope my actions thus far have validate that.

Bosman

OH,how honsty the dev is! I was so moved by the principle of the DEV, for now, never see any DEV dare say my principle just because they only play the dump and bump coins.Robbing the harding working money without any honsty. Trust in you! Holding my coins bought from the exchange and also patiently waiting for my free share coins. The GPC is a long term coin, if you wanner make money in the short time, just sell your coins without any fudding here.If you trust the DEV, hold the coins with the whloe community.

What if we were to do a GPC powerball type of lottery? It'd be fun. I'm sure you'll get everyone's attention.

I guess the hardest part is the verification process...

What kind of anon system were you thinking of integrating within this coin, Bosman? Or should we put it to a vote and let the community decide?

I'm sure there are plenty of graphic designers who can tweak the logo to professional standards.

I think the question to ask you is.. what is your long term goal for this coin?

We have to also think of a real world application...

On a different note, I think a new logo is much needed.

I sort of like the logo... reminds me of little lego people for some reason. But it could use some sprucing up, I'd agree there.

I think we can tweak up the logo to make it more presentable, more professional... especially if we're heading towards direct payment system.

Something like this perhaps?

This is really nice to see... I like it very much Cheesy

Just to get the temperature.. what sort of features would YOU the community like to see in GPC?

DirectPayment System using Paypal/Credit Card.

Wherein you are using your wallet to pay an item you purchased online paying by GPC then automatically connected to PayPal or Any Online accepted Payment system, automatically converted from GPC to any currency accepted by online store.

I like that idea, and figure if cryptos ever really catch on with the general public, that is sort of how things would have to work ... probably with a coin processor tied into a special card, which then converts crypto to fiat automatically.

I guess your idea is more like veribit, but instead GPC to BTC, it's GPC to Fiat?

Only problem is, that idea only really works when a coin has a lot of volume. Too little volume and if people use the payment system like they are supposed to be doing, it would crash the price of the coin.

A lot of that depends on what you have the funds for, or are capable of yourself.

For starters, I mentioned that you should contact coinpayments and get the coin under consideration there. It takes about 2 min of your time (they have a form to fill out). Get the coin listed on Bter for voting. A chinese exchange is always useful.

Coin-wise, anonymity seems to be popular, but not sure if that would be so doable. Perhaps you could consider having a dev port over DarkSend when it goes opensource, which I think is planned for several weeks from now? Not sure how masternodes would work on other coins... although the idea of  GPC masternodes all offering staking rewards sound profitable ... especially since I expect some folks could easily obtain several hundred nodes pretty cheaply right now.

Marketplaces and such are nice. New wallet features I expect would be nice too, although personally I'm not a big wallet person, so long as the thing works, it's good to me.

Something that makes a profit such that in the future dividends could be paid to GPC holders ..
KARM has an embedded LLC for just such a purpose ..
BitShares PTS holders get a 10% participation in all future internally generated IPO's ..
Maybe we ( GPC ) can 'invest' in other income generating cryptoprojects vs developing our own ..

Triff ..
