We have been very busy in the past few days researching and meeting quite a few European companies specialized in PCB manufacturing and assembly. 

And now we are happy to announce that from today we are able to also offer a full miner assembly service in this group buy.

We managed to meet a very convenient price which should help achieving faster ROI, all this while ensuring the best European standards and quality.

The Full Miner will have the following characteristics:

• 16 Avalon ASIC Chips
• 4.512 Gh/s
• About  32 Watts
• CGminer
• USB controller. Could be used with any PC i.e. a Raspberry Pi
• Assembled in Barcelona, Spain. Contact based in Barcelona is nekonos.

The price for the Full Miner assembly service will include:*:

• 4 Layers’ PCB
• All electronic components
• Full assembly
• Heat Sink
• 12 to 24 hours testing to meet the so deserved BkkCoins’s royalties.
• Fan and Case will be available at an extra cost

*AVALON ASIC Chips are not included in this price

At the current Mt GOX  BTC/EUR exchange rate (27/05/2013), aprox. 100EUR/BTC, this is equivalent to 1.88 BTC (or 188EUR) per 4.512Gh/s BTC miner. 

Terms for the Miner Assembly buy:

• It is important to mention that the k16 klondike design is currently in the prototyping phase; therefore, some specs or the final price of the Miner, specially the electronic components, could still vary.  Nevertheless, it is not expected that the design suffers mayor changes however it is important to point out that the mentioned price of 60EUR per Miner assembly could still vary depending on the changes that may suffer the current k16 klondike board.
• The AVALON Chips has to be paid immediately at the time of ordering. Due to the rather long time of delivery that some electronic components might carry, all Miner assembly order has to be paid in full within a period of 3 weeks after the chips were ordered. In the case of only miner assembly orders, the payment will be requested ASAP. 
• AVALON ASIC Chips has to be paid in BTC to JohnK’s Escrow account. Miners’ assembly will have to be paid in EUR into a bank account which has to be requested by PM after the order is placed (we will next try to offer payment in BTC for the miner assembly service).
• The Price per Miner assembly is based in a minimum order of 200 units per group buy.
• The consignment time for the assembled miners will be of approximately 2 weeks after the chips are received.
• There will be no extra charges due to sending ASIC Chips bought in this Group Buy to the Barcelona assembly facility. Buyers will be responsible for paying the delivery fees to the final destination of the miners once they have been assembled. Deliveries of chips to other assemblers other than the service sold in this group buy will be charged as mentioned in the terms and conditions 2.3 and 2.4.

The difficulty is indeed expected to increase, but this will be the same for everyone.

From the time the chips are received I would expect to have miners ready in two to three weeks. There is already quite a few projects for creating the miners based on the bkkcoins PCB design. Nevertheless, I would also be interested to get something done here in Switzerland too (already in contact with a few siwss companies).

 

Today i read a estimated Avalon ASIC Chip Output of 730'000 Chips validated by their Blockchain Address, this seems reasonable to me
So i haven't calcuated yet but it look's like when only a few People offering to build a Machine with your Chips. How long do you have to wait for a Machine ?
So i'm wondering if someone else from Switzerland would be interested in searching a swiss Solution.

Hi all,

I wanted to inform that from tomorrow Saturday 08 July, I will be off on family holidays for 10 days. I expect this buy to fill up by tomorrow, nevertheless, nekonos will be in charge of updating the order status and answering questions, etc.

I have just received excellent news from nekonos. As you all know nekonos is the forum user who will be responsible for the assembly of the miners in Spain.

During the last few days he has been studying the possibility of financing the full assembly of the miners and today he has just informed me that he will be indeed able to do this.

Therefore, we are happy to announce that, any user wishing to get the full miner assembled by nekonos, will be able to pay the 60EUR of the assembly service in full once the miner has been completed and before it is to be shipped to its final destination.

Therefore, following feedback from several users via PM, it was decided to simplify the pricing of the chips and, from now on, buying Only Chips  i.e. to be sent to any other assembler rather than the service promoted in this group buy, will have the same pricing model as chips bought together with the miner assembly service offered in this thread in association with nekonos.
