You fooling me? Grin APCpool.co & MT. Red display round shares.  Are you claiming they fake stats?   Huh

BTC Guild does not keep track of rounds because they serve no purpose for a straight PPS pool.  For a miner on a straight PPS pool, whether this round is 1 share of 1 billion shares has no effect on past, present, or future earnings.  Whether or not another straight-PPS pool has a round shares stat is irrelevant, because the stat has no meaning.

how about "round_shares" and "round_shares-nmc" in the API?  I would like to use your pool as a backup.

There's no such thing as rounds, we're pure PPS.

I noticed my machine is hashing a lot less compared to the switch over (from btc to pooled mining), any reason why?

On the contrary, I've noticed it's a tad faster--on average, I've noticed a 5-second/share reduction.  However, I have noticed more long poll(ing) requests (hopefully I used the correct term) since the switch to merged mining.  I just saw my miner finish off 7 shares in 5 second but then submit a long poll.  Does that mean anything?

I'm assuming you mean the switch from BTC to merged mining.  There is NO tradeoff of speed with merged mining unless you're experiencing connection errors.  The hashes are the exact same work your miner has always done.

API updated.  All the fields that have a value for NMC use the same name, with _nmc appended.

The API also now displays your shares/stales/dupes/unknowns since last reset, as well as total.  Total values use the same names as before, since reset values have _since_reset appended.

As usual, any properly written API JSON parser should still continue working as normal since the format for the previous values has not changed at all.  Only new values were added, nothing was removed.

Definate connection problems here.

My miners keep switching over to my failover pool - fans keep spinning up and down.

Looking for any new suggestions as the weekend approaches for me.  Current plans are:

1) Miner offline notifications will be returning to some users, slowly rolling out to the whole pool.  Will likely be adding SMS notifications on top of emails.
2) Mining Teams
3) NMC added to the API

Mining Teams = useless
SMS = most important if works for all countries also UK etc.
NMC API = important as well

Thanks !

Very nice pool. Is there another pool with pure PPS and lower fees Roll Eyes ?
Very nice post. Is there another 900+ post user that is as oblivious to stickies and thread titles in the 'Pool' section as you Roll Eyes ?

The only PPS pool with a lower fee is ABC Pool at this time.  No merged mining and they state the 0% is an introductory offer.  A few people have posted on the forums stating that even with the 0% fees, the performance and invalid rate (pay for stales isn't exactly true) makes the fee difference negligible in terms of miner payout, before NMC is even factored into miner earnings.

Hey eleuthria, thanks for the Hall of Fame 26th Row....I appreciate it.

You might want to check out the 'Blocks Found' portion, as when I was in top 25 of 'Blocks found', it read "2" (as I found 2 blocks), but now that I am below 25, using the 26th row, it shows "2.00 mh/s".
Just thought I'd give you a heads up.

Thanks again.

Whoops, fixed Smiley.  I haven't found any blocks since the last reset, so I didn't see the typo/copy paste error.
fixed...
