Small update to our policies Wink

To minimize transaction fees, payments are only processed once enough payable pending balances have been collected (~0.004 BTC) by all the players, currently that's the case roughly every 2-3 days.

Another small update:

To make it a bit more transparent, the raffle history now contains links to the transactions of processed payments!

How much historical data do you save? I was thinking it may be cool (worthless for some, cool for people like me, :p) if you could set up a listing of the addresses, tickets earned, how many times they've won and how much they've won.

Not really that "useful," but for data-enthusiasts like me it's awesome. I figured if you already have the data stored, it shouldn't be too bad to run the calculations.

well, we had to discard all data of BETA phase 1 due to the massive restructuring of the BETA-2 version. Right now we have the historic data of about 6 days Wink lol

anyways, more detailed statistics are on the to-do list, but it will be a few weeks before we'll get there.

Even if the data started today it'd still be pretty cool to see, Smiley. And I'm glad you've already got it on the to-do-list! I'll report anything else I think of, :p.

BLANKs are no fun!

...we have increased the odds to receive multiple tickets and at the same time decreased the odds to get blanks!

ENJOY!

Awesome! Thanks for that update, Smiley. Were the instant-wins altered as well?

instant wins are unchanged atm

Awesome. Thanks!

our last payout got included in an orphaned block!

tx: https://blockchain.info/tx/43b91b67ad3b6bcf6d9579ff51b174450baea519001fad0889eaab0b641966a5

block: https://blockchain.info/block-index/393406

as a result the last payout is still "unconfirmed" despite the generous tx-fees.

we are very sorry for the inconvenience! we expect it may be up to another 12hrs before the transaction confirms.

When it gets in an orphaned block, does the chain just keep trying to put it in another one or something?

Yep, that's what should happen! The transaction is still being relayed and should find its way into another block soon.

Good News: Situation resolved. The transaction has now been confirmed 22 times on the valid chain.

That's cool. Thanks for the answer btw -- I'm still a newbie to BTC so learning as things happen, lol.

Week #1 of BETA-2 is ending soon.

Stay tuned for a little increase in prize values.

Also, we want YOU to decide how the next raffles will look!

Nothing happened after I submitted my address and captcha, it just said please wait then nothing allowing my to submit again.

Hi LinuxNut,

Our site requires JavaScript to enable the form's submit button. After the page has fully loaded the button will be activated through JS.

If you see the "PLEASE WAIT" button for a longer time it's either the JS not being able to execute, OR the site has actually not finished loading.

Are you having the issue consistently when you visit the site? Is JS deactivated in your browser?

Now then... is there any chance you can implement a manual withdraw process? I'd rather let things build up a bit rather than have smaller payments coming more often. I'm sure I'm not the only one!

that's a valuable suggestion!! >on the inspiration list - if executed 20000 Instant Satoshis and 50 tickets your way!

i recon it would be a while until we get there, though... there's a shitload of things we also need to implement for the administration side Wink

NP! If there's anything else that bothers me (other than the empty prizes you sometimes get from tickets o.o) I'll let you know!

Oh, and I think you're missing a few zero's on both of those numbers, :p.

I entered, good luck to me, the site looks nice.
Has a good fluid layout.
8/10

You can get another ticket every 30 minutes as well. If you're using my faucet rotator the lottery is in the rotation so if you're using it actively you'll hit the lottery every 30m as well for maximum tickets, Smiley.
