The easiest way to follow things is to check the DZ website under "Rounds".  It isn't showing my matching amount yet, so for the first payout it's only showing 1/2 of what the amount will be.

We'll be closing out the first payout period Wednesday evening - once the second Jupiter arrives down at hosting and starts mining.  Payouts ought to be hitting peoples wallets Thursday.

When you send extra coins to the address it will update to include those.

That's the plan.  Once everything is closed out and we're ready to start the 2nd payout period I'll send the matching amounts to both GB wallets.  I want to keep everything completely transparent...

So I decided- First 2 Jups that get here will be hooked up to the EVGA 1300w Golds I have, then the next 2 will get HX1050s. Maybe one of them will get a OCZ1250, but that one got lit-up buy a avalon, so had to RMA it.
i have 2x sea sonic plat 1000 watters that d zombie was buying for the other group r1  can this help?
I might need some more supplies... ask him?

Well...  Worst case they can all run off the 4 hx1050s that I bought, right ?

Catching up on the pics. Holy shipping hell that's some rough handling. It'd be better if they just shipped the fans separately in a smaller sub-box, from what I'm seeing.

Shippers just toss this stuff around because they have so much volume to deal with and it isn't their property.

Will DHL be any better about handling shipments that truly is fragile? (Or at least not a box of pillows or blankets)

In defense of UPS guys, they work tons of overtime every week on my island. A driver was griping to me that most of the guys at UPS on another island had their marriages fail because they were never home and they were trying to get management to ease up a little.

That's why they toss this stuff around: because they're overworked and have tight deadlines they're supposed to meet. Still sucks to see our hardware treated this way for premium shipping.  Angry

I had to re-read that like 8 times before I understood what was going on. I think I may call it a early night, sounds like I have my work cut out for me next week

2 things

1) why do the two of them side by side look different? Is one the saturn

2) you'd think KNC would package them better, was there any foam / packing stuff or was the miner just thrown into the shipping box?

The one of the left is the Saturn - it only has two hashing modules.

They are well packaged - the box is custom, and the miners sit in custom foam inserts built to fit the miners and the box.   KNC has already decided to go with heavier shipping boxes.   You'll get to see the box and packaging for yourself for yourself in a couple of days when this first Jupiter arrives.

When they get there, take the case lid off, fix the fans - at least some of them will probably get knocked loose during the trip - and just leave the lid off.  They run pretty cool that way.

Wish I could lol but I'm no where near bobsag3 =)

I just want to know which of the delivery guys won the Rock`m Sock`m Robot tournament these units were obviously involved in

This is why Knc will stop using UPS for delivery in the near future.   DHL is falling all over themselves to be the replacement shipper...
