Good morning all!

@BlackFor3st - Thanks for the kind words!  Smiley If there's any improvements to our service you'd like to see then just let me know and I'll pass it on up the chain!

@TopTort777 - We should have news on the our next competition soon, the plans are drawn up and I'm just awaiting sign off on the budget before getting everything finalised! I'm hoping to run at least one competition monthly so you should never have too long to wait  Wink

@deadley - This one i'm not sure about, but I'll pass on the question to our sportsbook team and get a response for you ASAP. I'm already super excited for the World Cup pool to start  Cheesy

In other news, today is a special one within the crypto community - it's 🍕 Bitcoin Pizza Day 🍕!

On this day 9 years ago the first bitcoin pizza purchase was offered, right here on the bitcointalk forums.

BCT member laszlo posted to offer 10,000 BTC in exchange for 2 large pizzas. At the time BTC was valued at just $0.0041, making for an attractive prospect for the seller - $41 in bitcoin for $25 worth of pizza!

At first no one seemed interested; it wasn't until four days later when laszlo updated the thread to report his success! Fellow crypto enthusiast Jercos accepted the offer via IRC chat and had the pizzas delivered to our brave protagonist.

Looking at today's prices the transaction seems absurd, with 10,000 BTC having a seriously life-changing amount of value ($79,550,000 at the time of writing!). Unfortunately for Jercos this was before the infamous I AM HODLING thread, and he sold his coins when the value rose by 10x a short while later for just $410 - a good return at the time, but probably pretty rage-inducing for the poor guy when looking back!  Roll Eyes

Check out the infographic below for more fun facts surrounding the most expensive pizza purchase in history, or click to read more at the Cloudbet blog.

Will you be celebrating with a Pizza order today? Or perhaps making your own?

The battle over choice of toppings has already begun raging in the office (it's 2019 and people still want to put pineapple on pizza  Shocked)

Have a great day!

Hi Ronnie,

Any chances Cloudbet will run live markets for WC practice matches. Will love it, if it is possible.

Are there any news on Cloudbet next competition? Previous (article competition) was rather short, but interesting. All the ideas  about the blog were excellent. Now Cloudbet blog writters have lots of work.

Guess next one will be connected to event result prediction.

Betking.io - Best Bitcoin Casino
In the past this is the first site that I have used in betting NBA sports, as I have recall at that time the bitcoin price is still 300$ and I almost lost like 3 bitcoins in all.

I really love betting in sports especially in NBA but my winning percentage is only like 30% as I am still a newbie at that time and I keep on betting my favorite team even if they keep losing. I will try to activate my account again and I would like to see whether they accept other currencies aside from bitcoin.

Morning all, hope you had a great weekend!

Mine would have been better if Orient had won the FA Trophy, but can't complain too much - Fylde deserved to get something out of this season.

@bbc.reporter - Haha I'm not going near that one yet!  Wink

There are some plans for adding more currencies in the future but I don't have any specific information to give out just yet. As soon as I do then I'll be sharing it everywhere though!  Grin

@DarkStar_ - I can definitely make the request to our sportsbook team for you! I'll let you know if we have plans to add those markets.

@LTU_btc - The blog was written at the request of one of our Blogiversary entrants (who asked about Stablecoins), it's not meant to hint at us adding any particular currencies in the future.

@veleten - I'm just waiting for confirmation from our Sportsbook team but I believe that some of them were settled as a dead heat.

I won't talk about last night's episode yet in case of spoilers, but it's going to make for some interesting grading on the outright markets again!  Wink

Thanks,

@Cloudbet. What were the winning bets on Game of Thrones' who will die first on Jaime, Cersie and Sandor Clegane? Can you send them to me though private message? To avoid spoilers hehehe. Thank you!

*spoilers alert*
interesting , having watched the final episode I cannot tell who died first either
wonder how on Earth they settled it before the final episode was aired Smiley
in theory this can be no event as there was no clear indication
but probably Sandor will be considered the "winner"

@Cloudbet, I don't have much knowledge about most stablecoins, especially these new players in the market and their liquidity. But I have sceptical opinion about USDT - it's very shady project and I hope that you're not planning to support it on Cloudbet. It's not a crypto at all.

Very very very niche request: Is it possible for you to add the Canadian Premier League? I'd love to be able to bet on my local team (even with 12% margins and low limits) for fun. I know bet365 has lines. Not sure who else (if any).

guess who's back
Usdt is what people say if you want to implement new coin. But I do not really like a stable coin to play, especially when it is apply to gambling. People like to gambling when it is on low amount and when it is on high they will keep on gambling as well. So why bothering about this stablecoin to add? It is going to be better if there is a fluctuative about the coin to play so it will benefits both banker and the player, dont you think that way?

why not add stable coins ? if it doesn't bring legal troubles for cloudbet then I would really like to see it offered
I know many gamblers who would love to start using bitcoin sportsbetting sites , but all of them have fear and doubts about bitcoin price and future

if a bitcoin site was offering a stable coin all of these gamblers will join when they realize that their holdings won't change much

@Ronnie. What stablecoin will you be accepting for your sportsbook? Tether or one of the stablecoins that the conspirators are pushing, with the help of the New York attorney general's office, to replace Tether hehehe?

Afternoon all!

The weekend is almost here! Grin

I'm here to bring you another roundup of the upcoming sporting and casino action at Cloudbet!

Let's kick things off with some domestic soccer action...

FA Cup Final

This weekend English giants Manchester City face Watford in the FA Cup final!

Watford have defied critics and performed above expectations this season, finishing mid table in the EPL and reaching the finals of the world's oldest national cup competition - qualification for European football next season is still within the Hornets grasp.

Man City are clear favourites for the win (1.23) but with our new low minimum stakes of just 0.0000001 BTC, a bet on the Watford underdogs at (13.5) could prove profitable given the recent upsets we've seen across Europe recently.

⚽ Total Goals: Over 3 (1.86)
⚽ Watford FC +2.0 (1.76)
⚽ Aguero to score (1.74)
⚽ Both Teams to Score: Yes (2.17)

FA Cup Trophy

On Sunday two titans of the National league go head-to-head in the FA Trophy final!

Leyton Orient are looking to cap off a superb season and do 'the double' after winning the National league outright and gaining promotion to League 2.

AFC Fylde narrowly missed out on promotion into League 2 last week, losing to Salford City 3-0 in the playoff finals after finishing 5th in the League.

Orient are currently slight favourites (2.19) but have been known to 'choke' in the past when it comes to big games and cup competitions (full disclosure - I'm a long suffering Orient fan!) so a bet on Fylde could have some value (2.81).

Orient's defence also have a habit of conceding goals on the way to victory, finding themselves having to fight back from 2 goal deficits on numerous occasions in the latter part of the season. Stats point towards a high scoring game, especially given 2/3 of the leagues top scorers will be on the pitch - Rowe scored 27 for Fylde while Bonne netted 23 times for Orient so far this season.

⚽ Leyton Orient -0.5 (2.19)
⚽ Total Goals: Over 2.5 (1.94)

NBA Playoffs

Across the pond action is heating up in the NBA playoffs, with four teams left battling for the two NBA final slots!

In the Eastern conference finals the Milwaukee Bucks lead the Toronto Raptors 1-0 ahead of tonight's game. The Bucks look strong and dominated the Raptors in their first game, so it will be up to Leonard and Lowry to lift the Raptors team and tie the series.

🏀Milwaukee Bucks -8.0 (2.25)
🏀Total points: Under 216 (1.97)
🏀Winning Margin 6-10 pts: Milwaukee Bucks (3.97)

Meanwhile in the Western conference the Golden State Warriors have a 2-0 lead over the Portland Trail Blazers in their playoff series. GSW have looked unstoppable this season, but the Blazers have surprised many with their performance this year. The last game came down to a small 3pt margin, so expect another tight game. Look to the player props and point spreads for the most value.

🏀Portland Trail Blazers -2.0 (1.89)
🏀Golden State Warriors +2.0 (2.00)
🏀Winning Margin 1-5 pts: Portland Trail Blazers (5.07) Golden State Warriors (5.43)
🏀Total points: Over 220 (1.85)

Check out our in-depth look into Stablecoins, as requested by @CryptoStatioN on Twitter.

What do you think? Are stablecoins going to feature as a large part of crypto's future, or are they just another fad and not a 'true' cryptocurrency?

That's all from me, so have a great weekend, and enjoy all the sportsbook and casino action!  Grin

Morning all,

Sorry for the delayed response, I was super busy yesterday planning campaigns and wrapping up our Blogiversary Competition!

@TopTort777 - We have a blog on the Hockey World Championship you can find here. I believe the lines came down temporarily but they should be back up now, let me know if you see anything missing and I'll pass the details on to our sportsbook team.

@ralle14 - Thanks for being so helpful, I'd give you merit but I've sent all mine out already this month!

@LUCKMCFLY - Unfortunately we don't have a Telegram group for sharing tips and articles, but it's definitely something we can look into for the future.

For now you can follow us @Cloudbet on Twitter to see this type of content!  Smiley

@rdbase - We do have player props on the NBA as well, you can find our list for tonight's game between GSW and Blazers here

@bbc.reporter - I'll try and find out how they were settled for you, I must admit I'm curious about how some of them are judged!

@deadley - That's a very good question! I'll pass on the request to our sportsbook team lead now, hopefully we can get that market added for you  Grin

@leea-1334 - Glad to hear you had a good one! Unlucky on those picks, did you have Wolves to win in the pool?

I'm always open to discuss sponsoring fun competitions and giveaways on Bitcointalk, I just need to be careful about how I sneak the requests for funds past the payments team  Wink

There was some talk about a pool being set up for the cricket world cup, but I'll keep you updated here with any news.

Thanks,

Join the world-leading crypto sportsbook NOW!
I would like to know if they have a telegram group where they can put everything that can be bet, information with any sport and if it is so to be able to do it through a wallet from my cell phone. Simpre I liked this type of betting and this site seems to meet my expectations, the real one I had not searched before and I want to take advantage of it.
I know another sportsbook have this feature but this isn't possible with cloudbet because they don't have a telegram group or official group chat except for this thread.

Heard from someone on another thread your site offers some player props I havent seen available on other sportsbetting sites.
So good to see they are an opinion for those who like to bet on these obscure statistics for each player of the games.
They do have player props but it's only for baseball(MLB) though.
No they said they were betting on NBA lines for certain players who were going to make a number of three pointers throughout their games. When I asked them which site they said it was on the cloudbet platform.
