Cloudbet launches USDT betting
Which chains are used for USDT transactions on Cloudbet? I guess it is not on OMNI layer because with OMNI layer, the transaction speed depends on bitcoin network. The rest options are on ERC20 or TRC20 chains. Which ones are chosen by Cloudbet team for USDT betting on your casino? I can not find that details on your given articles:

Good catch, I'll get that detail added. We are using the ERC20 chain for transactions.

Let me know if you have more questions.

Hi,
Just a doubt. Received an e-mail form Cloudbet saying I could deposit Tether through credit card. I followed the link, logged in my Cloudbet account, but can not find this option.
Does anybody have any idea?
Thanks

If you are using the legacy page, you won't see the USDT deposit option.

You need to switch on their new layout website: https://www.cloudbet.com/en/player/account

Deposits are all under the "My Account" tab.

Thanks @harizen for the explanation which is correct, sorry for any confusion.

I highly doubt there will be a bet on if there will be a war, but in that case lets hope that there isn't one, war has no winners and only losers, this is not something to wager on.

I was already quite against election voting, who would want to vote on something that will change the whole nation, why would I want to wager on something that I think will be life changing to tens of millions of people, even hundreds in some nations. And here we talk about billions of people, that is not really something I would want to wager on because some stuff are too sensitive to be gambling. Would you wager on some famous person with cancer to die or heal? That would look immoral right? "will he get better or will he die" is one person, war is over a billion person.

Completely agree with what you are saying here. Cloudbet would never offer odds on a dead pool or anything similar. Interestingly though, this was an idea that the CIA had looked at in 2001 - Policy Analysis Market (PAM). Read about it here on Wikipedia, but many other articles online on the subject.

"PAM was to be "a market in the future of the Middle East", and would have allowed trading of futures contracts based on possible political developments in several Middle Eastern countries"

It was shut down by outraged Senators in 2003 because they saw it as an 'assassination and terrorism market'.

@SScomrades. Yes hehehe. Let us wait for Ronnie's reply. I reckon the lockdown caused many people in the world to be more entertained on geopolitical news similar to televised sports and movies.

@Ronnie. I have been following closely the news and occurrences between China and America on the political and the military tensions on the South China Sea. If Cloudbet listed the odds for will there be war between China and America before 2024, what would the odds be for yes and no?

Hahaha This is fun. Is there any crypto betting site that bets on something like this?  Grin Grin

Regarding the Withdrawal Fee

For those that have highlighted the temporary increase in Withdrawal Fee, I can confirm that as network congestion has eased, this has now been reduced back down to 0.00054240 BTC.

If you have further feedback I will happily pass that on.
Withdrawal fees depend upon network status, and last several days, the fees on Bitcoin network has skyrocketed so I really don't know why people complained about that. They should know and accept that whenever bitcoin has its big movements, pumps or dumps, fee often skyrockets. Users should have plan to withdraw their funds and wait for good period (with acceptable low fees) to do their withdrawals. It is always too late to withdraw when bitcoin increases to its peaks.

That's at least good. Maybe you guys should adopt a new way of ensuring that fees are low while also having quicker withdrawals. It's very frustrating when someone wants to make a quick withdrawal probably due to an emergency only for the transaction to be approved after 48 hours.

This is why we are seeing more and more bitter folks in this thread and after such an experience most won't come back to use the platform

I know bustadice is your competitor but sometimes it also helps when you can look at them for guidance when it comes to fees. Right now the Bitcoin network fee is high but Bustadice's withdrawal fee is really low and friendly.

Transactions get approved instantly and confirmed in the next block for 238.32 Bits (0.000238 BTC) and with in 24 hours for 45.4 bits(0.0000454 BTC) at the moment.
