Miningsweden stopped paying more or less a week ago if I'm not mistaken.
Not saying it's proven to be fake yet (maybe they just have some problems) but I think it's important news for this thread.

They said they will have to write their payout scripts again and should fix it by next week.

"Common rogue from Russia with a bare ass."
Even if HashOcean is the #1 scam ponzi.... let it be. I don't mind.
As long I'm earning these little amount of money I'm happy.. >snip

Not wishing to kick this conversation to death, but this is the crux of the matter.
Not wishing either to get all idealistic but there is a concept in Bitcoin, like in many other places, called 'community'.
Sharing skepticism about 'investment opportunities' is part of that.
Ponzi schemes are a blight both in crypto and fiat, they are run with the intent to defraud, degrade the investing environment and prey on the vulnerable. Whether you believe that Caveat Emptor should reign supreme is up to your personal values.

By "not minding" about supporting schemes which are likely to be fraudulent, just so long as you make some money, you effectively facilitate them and encourage their proliferation thru greed.
If you're cool with doing that, there's nothing more to say, apart from "being part of the society" does not involve stealing from your neighbour.

As i said i just wanted to share my experience, so if you have respect for yourself and you find yourself capable to be a part of the society, you also have to respect my sayings.

Valid argument.

What works and what not, is everyone's own decision. Though sharing results on what is being debated and subject to this threat, is a bit off topic and contradictory towards the intention of this thread. So if you would like to share results, then other threads are more appropriate to do such  Wink

I'm not here to fight, argue or anything.
I just wanted to share my experience.
And no, i haven't lost any money

The point of this thread is to help people analyse the likelihood of schemes being scams, especially ponzis. Virtually every one of those listed as "collapsed as expected" did, for a period of time, pay out.
It is up to you whether you take any notice of these ratings before investing your money. You obviously don't, so what value is your "experience" to others?
We are all aware that people are saying they receive payment from HashOcean. They will continue saying that until it stops. That what ponzis do, pay out, then stop. That's when people lose money.
If you don't want to fight or argue, then I suggest you don't put yourself in a situation where it becomes likely, by making posts of no value as above.

I'm not saying that  HashOcean is not ponzi neither is trusted.
There's something that's called freedom of speech and as i said I'd like to share my experience.
I'm not saying that people should invest to HashOcean.
Every investment is a risk no matter where you invest.
Even if HashOcean is the #1 scam ponzi.... let it be. I don't mind.
As long I'm earning these little amount of money I'm happy and I'm lucky that I haven't lost.

I respect your sayings and I'm not denying the scam-ponzi list.
I'm pretty sure that many cloud mining companies will go down. Time will show.
For sure you are experienced and you know things like others here know and for sure better than me.
HashProfit for example was identical like HashOcean, but i remember after they shut down they were returning investments to clients.
Anyway. Thank everyone for the help is provide here.
As i said i just wanted to share my experience, so if you have respect for yourself and you find yourself capable to be a part of the society, you also have to respect my sayings.

I have lost a lot of money by investing to banks, insurance companies etc....
I feel lucky enough that i earn a bit from HashOcean.
As long i earn i feel lucky.

A few days ago i didn't have a clue about this forum.
Now I'm pretty worried about investing to other cloud mining companies and i find my self not sure to do it again.
Anyway, thanks again for all the information i got here.

As far as I'm concerned, Miningsweden.se can be moved to the scam/ponzi list, due to pre-selling Antminer S9 units which are not officially confirmed nor announced by Bitmain in any way.

Sources:
Miningsweden: https://www.miningsweden.se/product/mining-sweden-s9-2000gh-shares-ms9-pre-sales/

Bitmain denied that it will start sales of Antminer S9, but if MiningSweden is their key count can have better informations. I don't think that information about pre sales can be reason to call them scammers.

Maybe scammers is a harsh word, but I do not know how else to describe it properly. "We have now information about that the new S9 miner soon will come out on the market so now you can preorder your mining shares with the new S9 Miners", is what is stated on their page. That's pretty vague. Under such arguments, one could also be pre-selling quantum computers (the S9's), because there are already regular computers on the market (the S7's)...

Fact is, is that S9's are not there yet, let alone any (rough) specifications. S9's are thus date still a rumor, nothing more. Though Miningsweden is selling such units, be them as preorders though, at the same price/speed as S7's, without them having any knowledge on those (rough) specifications.
So basically, until Bitmain itself is a) announcing them, and b) enclose their (aimed) specifications, and c) selling them, and d) actually shipping them, Miningsweden is simply (pre)selling air or vaporware...  Wink

I know what you mean. This move of MiningSweden is very shady as Bitmain do not confirm that, but maybe they really have some informations.. Roll Eyes
I personally think that they wanted to make noise around their service and put this information to have free advertisement.

news from EOBOT:

"
Hello Miners! Due to the falling Bitcoin price, and the rising Bitcoin mining difficulty, version 2.0 of our Cloud GHS has been paused. It costs more money in electricity/maintenance fees than the AntMiner S5 devices mine every day in Bitcoin. Each day it costs $0.00117 per GHS to run, and it only mines $0.00116. It does not appear likely that the miners will again produce more in Bitcoin than it costs to run them in electricity, so we will be terminating the contracts.

In exchange, we can ship you the AntMiner S5 hardware, so you can run it in your own home. Each S5 DOES NOT include a power supply. You must pay for shipping and handling and that price will vary depending upon your location, but is approximately $65 USD. You need at least 1155 GHS 2.0 to take advantage of this offer, since each S5 unit is a 1155 GHS hashing unit. However, we have 100's of extra units, so if you want one, please contact us. Please email us if you want more information or to take advantage of this redemption offer.

Until next time...happy mining,
-The Eobot Team

what about www.sea-mining.com  / www.hashflare.io ?

So ....  faucets are kinda waste of time
If you claim 24 hours a day from faucets you need more money for electricity than those you make  (you earn just a few dollars, euros ...etc)
If cloud mining are ponzis .....

then .... what's the best method to gain btc ?
Both of the sites you listed are scams. Sea mining gives away free ghs when you sign up, and actual miners can't do that because they will end up losing a lot. Compare the sites you listed with the traits Puppet posted on the first post to find a scam. I'll bet most of them match.

The best method to gain btc is to buy it. Simple, and it doesn't take too much work. Get the money for buying bitcoin though a normal job.

Earn BTC? Why not have an IRL job and buy btc with spare money? Earning BTC directly is a bit more tricky, the most convenient method for many people has proven to be services. If you can provide a service online, with just a little marketing and if you have good rates you'll find clients willing to pay in bitcoin sooner or later. But it's still not comparable to a full-time job.
