LOT is paying for votes. Manipulation of votes, un-democratic, sleazy, unprofessional, the list goes on!! It does not matter how much/little is payed - Paying for votes is paying for votes. I never had anything against LOT until now.

The reason why Lottocoin is ahead of Earthcoin. Is NOT because they give away i think about 2.000 LOT coins for voting, much more because it got such big potential and obviously more people behind it. Without the free Coins they offer for voting, it wouldn´t look different. (2.000 LOT is not even worth mentioning)

You have a great payment site there, I believe you know why I suggest you to disregard premined coins at this stage. I know bitcoin was premined too, but you see the situation these days. Everyone and their pet want to launch a coin with a large premine. Your support only encourages people like that.

Anyway, this voting is kind of bullshit and nothing worth. Lottocoins will disappear the same way as doge, dime and all that other crap.

I find it funny you would associate Lottocoin with Dogecoin. Doge was a joke coin based on a meme and wasn't supposed to be taken seriously from the start. Any effort put into development was only after the the creators and adopters realized that there was much more support then they expected. Of course being a meme people lose interest.
Lottocoin is aiming to capitalize on the niche market of online gambling and I think it has a chance to do so successfully. Like I mentioned in my last post crypto's have characteristics that make them superior to fiat when you are either a gambler or casino operator. As long as the dev's take care of their end and supporters don't lose interest there is no reason why they can't be successful.

Gambling is one of the best uses for crypto's at the moment because they bypass most regulation, they keep your anonymity, and they are much faster to transfer funds in and out of an online casino then real money.
There are been a few other coins that lean towards the gambling angle but LOT's development team is putting in the effort and getting things done.
As the market matures for crypto's there is also no reason why Lottocoin couldn't be used for everyday purchases and with Coin Payments backing them it would make it easier for winning gamblers to have access to merchants they could spend their winnings at.

Already the name "LottoCoin" keeps me away from trading. I wan't to make business and profit, not playing lotto.
So i'll better invest in EarthCoin for long term and hope that it will get a worldwide method of payments.

exactly how I see it... what is so striking is that none of those guys here see this problem... when you mention it, they cry: but gambling blablabla...
as if that is something normal shops or serious businesses care for or want to be associated with...
imagine some electronics store having a "lottocoin accepted" sticker... anyone who is not totally into crypto will see the name and decide that they'd rather buy their ipod headphones somewhere else...

then imagine a fruits and vegetables store with "earthcoin accepted"... it just fits.
it has this green, responsible tinge to it. people respond well to the name.

look dude, no one is saying that there is not money involved in gambling.
but if you had read my posts here, you'd see that I am basically saying what you just said in your post:
gambling can be done in any currency. you quote bitcoin is so much used in gambling. great.
but how does that help or speak for lottocoin?
the point here is: a clean, serious coin can be used to buy drugs, buy a hooker or waste on gambling.
but a sleazy coin that has already such a sleazy business in its name has a hard time on other markets.
imagine a hookercoin. or an illegaldrugscoin or a gamblingcoin
people do not necessarly want to be associated with such a market or such a use. even if the very same people who object to such a coin go buy a hooker 20 minutes later with bitcoin.
money is best when it is as unobjectionable as possible. even when used for the worst things humans can come up with.
