I received a message stating that coinexchange.io will allow people to withdraw their cryptos on May 21, 2021. At that time the login will be active.  anyone can verify this?

coinexchange  not care about you, they list scam coins on it if you pay them.
i'm a victim of that myself with centuron scam coin.
i think they closing cause enough earned and time to leave the boat before it sinks.
does anybody know where they are located or any info about coinexchange identity
thank you

coinexchange took money from scam coins like fujinto(nto) or centurion(cnt), so those scammers can steal your money,
is it a reason to shut down and disappear, i guess so!
anybody knows who is behind coinexchange? please let me know
i can't find anything about it
me too i am a victim of those scam coins sold on coinexchange.

thx

If you had any funds on Coinexchange, you can forget about it. It is officially closed, as you can see in previous posts. Whatever, I don't think that they are connected with not and cnt (btw. I never heard about these coins).
It is your decision if you buy shit coin and lose your money, you had to be more careful where you "invest".
I can't imagine they are going out of business after they scammed some people for a few thousand bucks through trash coins. some things just don't work on that way.

Please anyone know how to contact them to get my bit. I just know the news now and still have more than 0.1 bit Sad
Sorry about your loss. You are always warning never to leave your funds in an exchange especially if you are not using the exchange fro long periods. That is what happens when you don't heed the advice.

Anyway Try contacting them here: https://coinexchangeio.freshdesk.com/support/home
But your chances are very slim since the exchange is officially closed

Thank you very much, coinexchange, for honestly saying goodbye to us.

We hope that you will come back someday.

They raised by 100X some of the withdrawal fees.  Shield is going for 500 sat at Cratex.  They want 500 shield to withdraw it.   Do the math.

You can find multiple copies of those T&C on various different exchange sites, many which have not bothered to fix the text to suit the specific circumstances of their business:

https://www.google.com/search?q=%22+By+accessing+and+using+the+Services+on+and+associated+with+the+Site,+you+agree+that+these+Terms+are+governed+by+the+laws+of+the%22&filter=0

Question is whether coinexchange provided the original text, or coinexchange was one of the copiers. If the latter case, the jurisdiction claim may be bogus (although, given it's in the T&Cs that customers agree to, perhaps legally enforceable?)

Edit: there's an earlier version of the T&Cs, which do not specify jurisdiction:

https://web.archive.org/web/20170916032817/https://www.coinexchange.io/terms

...and that version appears even more prominently on multiple websites... see https://www.google.com/search?q=%22It+can+be+accessed+by+most+countries+around+the+world.+By+accessing+our+website%2C+you+agree+that+%22

So it's my guess that coinexchange copied the T&C from somewhere else, then made incremental changes over the years.

Most probably they close due to regulatory pressure for compliance and registration with financial market regulators, meaning they would need to implement AML measures and their users would need to do full KYC. Both cost a lot of money for an organisation and since they already operated through crypto winter with tight or inexistent profits and given a lot of users would turn away when forced to KYC they decided to close shop in a controlled way which is a perfectly reasonable business decision for their POV.

In any case, I will miss them* they always did a good job and I never had any problems with them.

*Unlike Cryptopia which was managed by a gang of highly incompetent crypto-banksters whose unresponsible actions resulted in losses for a great number of users..

I was also personally involve in this exchange for very long time and really shock with this decsion but we have to accept this that now this exchange is going off and your point is very valid as they need to send email notice to all users about this as many are not active they can face some serious problem with this.
This is one of the exchanges that failed to adapt to the changing crypto atmosphere. They were so rigid in that new players out paced them. I remember coinexchange being among the first exchanges i registered with but to be honest i completely failed to use it.

i am using coinexchange before , there is no problem in deposit and withdrawl  but they added lot of coins recently ,it was not common on site year 2017 or 2018.
they added more then 7 new coins every week especially at the last summer !
the site will close on December 1st as it is written on the site
I did not receive an alert in the mail about this close .. i hope they will send to investors an alert about this close always
actually that was i first notice when there is announcement of closing. Why we dont recieve any email which is important announcement . This should send to every users since not all of them is active doing trade always.

Anyone else having problems with 2FA?

Authentication code is not valid - make sure your device time is set correctly.

It is a problem with your device clock settings. Here is what GA says how to solve:
"Google Authenticator: Invalid tokens are caused by incorrect device clock settings. Your clock must show correct local time, date and time zone to work properly. Android and Windows phones have an option to correct for time errors inside the Authenticator app properties, if you do not wish to sync your clock. IPhones must be set to use internet time to make sure the clock is synced properly."

Turned out that my phone was not set to sync time via the network, so the clock drifted slightly. Just a bad coincidence that the drift went far enough to make the coinexchange.io login stop working right after the announcement.

But the odd thing is that when I loaded coinexchange.io just now, despite not being able to get past the 2FA challenge a few days ago, I was already logged in...

Well, that's really an unprofessional way of doing business, just because they're going out of business they will let their users untold about this, while most of these traders don't even know single a thing about the closing, not unless they're actively online daily, so how about the other so-called hodlers who are more in long term.

That's why most of these services shut down their business because of its customer's support, just that they have more time to withdraw their funds out there.

It's funny, the way of life in business in most countries perhaps on Earth is to not ask their customers for support.  They could have said, "Hey, if you like us, you should know we are not earning enough commissions on trades and will have to close down in three months if you people don't do more trading and bring more people to crypto."  The largest movie/dvd/video store I believe in the world, Scarecrow Video in Seattle, did that about five times over the last ten years and now they are full operating fine as a non-profit, same place and amount of staff as before.

But it's a total different business model, I guess they can't really keep up with the competition, that's why I just many times before, crypto exchange are a niche market, it's a tough business and I'm thinking that the average lifespan could be around 3-5 years. If during that time you are not making money, there is a big chance that you need to shutdown your business or you need to evolved to cater new consumers. But since the bearish market, they get themselves in position wherein it becomes a burden just to maintain their business. So they don't have choice but to close it down gracefully.

I somewhat agree with you. I also think the US is putting a lot of pressure on these exchanges to comply with KYC and pay taxes. The crypto world is ever-changing and the smaller exchanges are feeling the pressure. But I'm sure coinexchange made pretty good profits when BTC went to $20,000 and they started charging 1 BTC to list on their exchange. I'm really going to miss coinexchange, I was one of the first people to deposit and trade with them. They have my trust 100%
