Synereo will be broadcasting the International Hangout via Twitch at this link, allowing anyone in the world to tune in at one place. They will also be organizing their own CoinFest event in Tampa Bay, which you can RSVP for here or here. Organizers, make sure to get your Hangouts included.

GameCredits is now a Global Sponsor in addition to being a CoinFest UK sponsor. Their game TurboCharged will be part of the Decentralized Arcade, and they'll be on the Gaming on the Blockchain panel that was just added to the International Hangout--please see the new Hangout schedule. You'll also notice that we have another activity called the Wheel of Bitcoin, where Tim Tayshun shows up on the projector screen at events around the world and spins the wheel for a lucky guest. The guest wins whatever prize the Wheel lands on, which includes novelties like a BitNation hardware wallet and 100 trillion Zimbabwean dollars.

Do you have a Meet Up/Facebook event link? Will add to coinfest.org Smiley
I will refer people to the this link, if that works:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.14360894
(which is the msg 2 posts up thread here.)  I am not sure I'll have time to do a website justice...unfortunately.
That could be fine... I'll list it, then

More details have been added for CoinFest Washington D.C., and Kumasi, Ghana and Amsterdam are now listed... keep in the loop, as it updates fast: http://www.coinfest.org/coinfest-2016/

Prizes are being announced for the decentralized games, lasting the duration of CoinFest. The Huntercoin community has put down 30K HUC--currently worth around 0.75 BTC--as prize money reserved for players who can stay alive. CoinFest Global will also contribute 1 BTC to the prize pools for Grabbit games held throughout April 5-10.

More awesome announcements on the way.

Lots of updates to coinfest.org. The 2016 page now details the speakers and times for the International Hangout, information about the decentralized games, and links to local events. Updates are currently ongoing... we just need event postings from all the local event organizers to add them. Super excited to have speakers like Andreas Antonopoulos, Paul Snow and Susanne Tempelhof on board.

So it will be in different places on the map simultaneously? I'm curious how many will there be in Europe.
Amsterdam, Arnhem, Manchester, Copenhagen, Helsinki, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Tallinn...
Quite a long way from where I'm at. I should get busy and get some BTC if I want to get there. Smiley
You should get some BTC, anyways! Grin Whereabouts are you located?

Good news: we have a new global sponsor! Gamerholic has a cryptocurrency--GamerholicCoin--which can be used to play games on their website, as well as order mainstream PC and console games at a discount. You can buy some at Bittrex if you want to get in before we take it to the Moon.

Also, there's a new article out about CoinFest on NewsBTC. You can read and discuss it in this thread.

Excellent news! and great article
