i wondered if i can create a local coinfest in hong kong?
because i am planning about the coinfest, what should i do?
plus should i promote you?
You promote decentralization, not me. Smiley It would be easy for you to bring CoinFest to Hong Kong. Just organize a free gathering at a restaurant, bar or lounge which accepts Bitcoin. If someone wants to sponsor your event, then you can think about adding prizes and other cool stuff. It doesn't have to be a huge conference, though.

Any plan for India ?
I'll be visiting India fairly soon, so I hope to convince an organizer to take up the cause. Nobody has stepped up, yet, though.

We already have some bitcoin meetup groups in India and held a few conferences in different region. Given the huge size and different dialects that constitutes the whole India, it is difficult to gain attention from all parts by having conference at any certain zone.

By the way, where are you from ?
Well, that's the idea. This is a decentralized convention. It's better for it to be held simultaneously in different Indian cities, where the majority language is different.

I'm originally from Washington DC, but I help the Bitcoin Co-op in Canada.

I'll see you all in Amsterdam.... Anyone making plans yet for their trip?
You should visit the Arnhem one while you're at it Tongue The CoinFest founder will unfortunately be stuck somewhere else (either Vancouver, Nigeria or Mumbai, not sure yet) or else I'd be all over that libertarian paradise you have going on in the Netherlands.

Im actually from Canada but I'll visit amsterdam for this.
I would do that if I had the time/money, haha. I wonder what the Bitcoin Wednesday guy is cooking up...

Our latest partnerships bring us to 23 participating cities for CoinFest 2016, and it's not even 2016, yet. With the added support of Venezuela Bitcoin and Bitcoin Wednesday, we fully intend to blanket the Earth with cryptocurrency. Check out the new map:
