Why do you tell Bytecoin was secretly mined though CN has many times confirm there were a lot of miner during 2 years?!

So you believe everything they tell you?

Incidentally, judging by the network hash rate over those 2 years, there were only 30 individual computers mining it (assuming they use the crippled miner that the code shipped with) or more likely less than 10 individual computers (if they made a 2 line change to the main loop in slow_hash.c) - that's certainly not "a lot of miner" by any measure.

Hey all, very happy to announce that I'm about to release a new version of the site.  In terms of design it's very similar but on the back end it was a complete overhaul which was necessary to accommodate the huge number of coin and exchange requests coming through these days.  Please report any glitches so I can fix before releasing.  Thanks!

http://beta.coinmarketcap.com/

New features so far:

- New detail pages with 365 Day charts
- Improved "All Coins" view with 1hr and 7d % changes
- Currency converter on the volume page
- Ability to add coins without price or supply
- Toggling to BTC will now show percentage changes relative to Bitcoin
- Graphs show price in BTC
- Asynchronous loading of graphs on landing page (Improved loading times)

+ Many more to come

Seriously ? That's so childish to tell he was paid just because you are not satisfied with the result.
Why don't you stop FUDing?

It's not a matter of dissatisfaction, it's a matter of morality. As has been discussed, even if you choose not to view it as a premine (in spite of anyone who matters viewing it as such) but instead want to acknowledge the impossibility that it existed for 2 years in secret, that still requires a flag of some sort. Call it a "ninja premine" or a "non-public mine" or whatever you want, but it needs a flag acknowledging that 82% of the coin was mined before its public launch. The end.

I wonder how much Gliss was paid to remove the BCN premine flags and shut up about it? It's sad that people are so easily bought.

I guess this is why everyone is moving to CoinGecko.

Probably paid by one of the people who premined 82% of all Bytecoins.

Hello CoinMarketCap,

I am a btc and altcoin supporter, and have been looking at coinmarket cap almost every day and I like it very much. Can you add Ascentcoin (ASCE)? The developer is active in development and he recently released anonymous wallet.
The block explorer is :
http://chainz.cryptoid.info/asce/

The bitcointalk forum announcement page is:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/asce-ascentcoinanonymous-transaction-the-first-dedicated-academic-service-611790

The exchange sites are:
https://c-cex.com/?p=asce-btc
https://www.allcrypt.com/market?id=871
https://coin-swap.net/market/ASCE/BTC

Please add it if possible, thank you in advance Smiley

Gliss, thank you for your attention to this situation and removing unfair designation.
Indeed, justice is served.

Piss off, BCN shill, nobody cares about your scamcoin.

Your manner of speech is telling the opposite.

To be honest, I don't care what you think about BCN, and I don't want to talk about it in this thread as there is already another place to dispute.

I just post a comment a sign of respect and thanksgiving to Gliss

It seems there was a premine?  How many coins are not available to the public yet?

Hey,,,

How about sorting them by algorithms?

Or at least giving us a chance to do this on the site.

Just a thought,, should actually be fairly simple.

Advanced search coming soon.  Smiley

Hi CMC,

During big holidays (like today) and weekends, you keep dropping UNO to the low volume chart.  Actually, volume today for UNO across MP and Cryptsy exceeds your .5 btc trade limit, but you don't seem to combine the volume of our most active exchanges. Many days, MP is very often biggest volume exchange.

So that your users are not misled about UNO, I suggest combining volume across our biggest exchanges.  Maybe a brief grace period for established coins could smooth out these fluctuations (24 or 48 hours?).

Anyway, Uno is already nearly 1btc today on a big holiday, but remains on your low volume chart.

Thinking about lowering the threshold, or just ranking all coins together.  Another alternative is to base it on the 7 day volume.
