I think it could be NXT/NEXTCOIN (NXT). Fully decentralized, anonymous and secure electronic money exchange system, built on its own blockade. Developers deliberately created code from scratch to eliminate all the flaws in the first generation of crypto-deniers. Thanks to the transparent protocol, all transactions within the network are literally lightning fast (no other system is able to provide such fast translations).

Referee Economy Blackport. These coins are of a great fundamental nature, and I'm sure they're very underrated. If you plan to invest in them for 1-2 years, I'm sure everyone can give x10 + a profit. At what price to buy, decide for yourself, but in terms of long-term investment, I don't think it makes sense.

In addition to Bitcoin, which is considered the preferred coin for HODL all year round, I propose to keep coins from Amazzy Bounties, these are like OMX and CHT, as a result of that, in fact, I believe, in fact, that they are valuable in the future and have a specious background, actually it's from AmaZix Bounties which for me, exclusively legal and respectable platform fees!

I recommend you to hold ethereum. Ethereum is very potential to become a popular coin in the future. I am sure of this because ethereum offers many benefits. Ethereum is almost perfect as a crypto currency only people don't know much about ethereum. When talking about crypto currencies, people only know bitcoin. But I'm sure if the public is aware of ethereum's presence then they will prefer ethereum rather than bitcoin. That is a bit of my idea about long term coin holding.

I think that the best alternatives to bitcoins are IOTA (IOT OR MIOTA) Crypto currency without commissions and miners. It was created as a means of payment for the realization of the concept of "Internet of Things" (Internet of Things, IoT). Indeed, there are no commissions here, which makes it possible to use IOTA for micropayments (for example, in 1 RUB). This is also a fully self-sustaining network: there are no miners here, and users themselves confirm the transactions of other users.

I think it could be AELF (ELF) - A self-developing platform that should become a real panacea for anyone who works with digital currency and needs different tools to perform a task. The platform aelf is characterized by phenomenal multitasking and the ability to quickly and easily adapt to any user need.

I think the best option might be RIPPLE (XRP). The main mission of this virtual currency is to make money transfers as simple as possible, which in turn will simplify the interaction of banks, significantly improve the quality of their services and positively affect the state of the entire financial market. Ripple has one of the highest level of capitalization to date, so the authority of this cryptone is already very high. Its founders enlisted the support of more than 300 major financial organizations and well-known international banks.

I think that the best alternatives to bitcoins are ARDOR (ARDR) - A virtual ecosystem developed on a blockbuster, offering users convenient ways to scale the network. In fact, this is the second generation of Nxt, but more perfect: ARDOR provides the ability to create your own child chains within the system. Through this platform, any company can create their own coins and receive a commission for their transfer. And transactions within the network are almost instantaneous: it usually takes 60 seconds, or even less.

What coins do you suggest for long-term holding? Bitcoin and Ethereum excluded.
I suggest you buy and hold NEO and Monero. These are very promising altcoin. NEO is called the Asian dragon, it was born in China, NEO has the technology and direction is quite similar to Ethereum. I believe in the future NEO will grow and compete with Ethereum. Monero offers privacy, every transaction with Monero is completely anonymous. No third party can find the Monero user information.

I never choose coins for long-term storage - they choose me. If I bought a coin and it fell heavily in price, it automatically goes on long-term storage until the price starts to rise.

I see many potential coins that are good to hold for the long term. but in my opinion the best choice is to hold ETH and NEO because those two coins are coins that I think will dominate the altcoin market someday. I believe both coins have better potential than other coins.

Tron: they are well funded and Justin Sun is going to deliver results even if everyone think it is garbage

DAPS: they majorly screwed up with Peepcoin fiasco, but i still think they will deliver with this privacy coin

Nano: I am sickened to see this project go from 17 to where we are now, but there tech is important and i am confident they will find a way to adapt in this new crypto environment even with competitors who claim to top their speed

Credits: After the prove all the haters wrong and demonstrate that their 1 million TPS speed is legit than i see major growth for this coin.

Modern finance chain: MFX: a crypto payment sys that allows you to pay with any project than have merchant convert to USD or other fiat. They got great team members with experience in payments industry including a RIPPLE VP (Brian Rankin) and i think they just got a partnership with Credits to use their high TPS technology in their smartphone payment app. I think if the tech works and they aggressively get their app into merchants hands (which is easy as it is a smartphone app which is free for merchants and customers) they will dominate even bigger players like Pundix

I think Litecoin is a very good cryptocurrency, and it suddenly rose to a very high price in the last bull market. So I believe that there will be more room for growth in the future, and now is a good time to invest in it because its price has dropped a lot.
