I've started receiving an error when the Gemini API import runs.

Error: Unsupported trade type: {"type":"Reward","status":"Complete","timestampms":1665291311158,"eid":146441192981,"currency":"SOL","am) "

I've also tried creating new API keys, but receive the same error.
Looking at the error message, perhaps related to the fact I had recently signed up to the Gemini Debit card and had SOL as the reward type at one point?

Thanks for any pointers.

There is no report for tax loss harvesting per se, but you can use the instant gain calculator to predict realized gains for a coin. You find this calculator on the gains page: https://cointracking.info/gains.php
Specific lot choose is not possible. You can use HIFO or any other method for your whole account.
But you could use depot/lot separation to reach the same target: https://cointracking.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/29000038566?lang=en

For Loss harvesting

I've been buying and selling bitcoin to loss harvest bout $40k in unrealized $BTC gains.

But it's not showing up on my losses on cointracking.

Can you not quickly buy and sell for tax loss harvesting?

for instance if I had $10k on an exchange could I quickly buy and sell the $10k back and forth 4 times until the $40k is realized??

Binance API is missing all the time a lot of SPOT trades.

I can fix it importing the CSV, but it's annoying every time the same.

Could you check it out? Thank you.

Are you still having this issue? I've been having the same issue.

Interestingly, I also don't see them listed in the "Buy, Sell & Convert History" .csv report.

Just try to hit "check now" or "update trade pairs". If it remains over the next days please let us know via ticket/E-Mail with details and your account name.

Then you have formatting issues in your Excel file e.g. ",," or "space bar at the end of an entry" etc. Please check the cells in your file again. And make sure you are using exactly our prefilled transaction types and avoid adding your own words there.

This blockchain is not supported by us yet. We are working on Top20 coin direct blockchain imports first. Once in place, we will announce it on our "new features pages". Thank you for your patience.
For now, you can enter the transactions either manually on the "Enter Coins" page, with the "Excel Import" or with the "Custom Exchange Import". Both are very flexible and customizable and data can be uploaded in a bulk action.

Hi,

Is https://andromeda-explorer.metis.io/ supported?

I have like 2000 trades on that chain... doing it manually would take a lot of time

@rdnkjdi
We are from CoinTracking.info. Cointracker might be another tool.
As always when there are warning please go through all Validation Checks as shown here: https://cointracking.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/29000035339?lang=en

I am using https://cointracking.info. I am going thru the validation now, i just don't understand why these values would be pulling from two seperate locations, it seems like they should match.

Cointracker shows I have 9403 balance on Solana. When I enter a sale transaction for this amount of Solana, it says that 18 Solana don't have a purchase price. Can someone explain what is happening? Screenshots here - https://imgur.com/a/hhPhyjM

Thank you!  I don't know how to handle Xsurge coins, there value is not pegged to the real coin.  There SBTC doesn't equal actual SBTC. So the normal article on handling wrapped and bridged assets doesn't work.

@bitkraft
It depends how LP is handled in your country - starting/ending LP as taxable or non taxable.
