I am not sure if this site is legitimate or not, so if somebody wants to test it out they can, don't cry to me if you loose. Look's legit though I must say, from what I have been told it's hosted offshore and they are not going to be taking it down because of some silly letter.

Exchange:

http://www.coinyemart.com

It's some fake, don't open it. Link http://rapid-miner.net/hltiz/ named as http://www.coinyemart.com

Opened this link a few days back, when it was also advertised...and I have a strong suspicion that I got a trojan because of it.
Lost everything out of my Doge wallet and my Coinye wallet.
Avast didn't even pick up the trojan had to download another AV to get rid of it.
If I remember correct, somebody else also mentioned that coins were sent out of their wallet to an unknown address. Wouls be interesting to know if they also opened up the link.

I clicked the link and didn't allow java to run. What was the other antivirus you downloaded to get rid of it?

I have the latest Java update... it blocks the page. So I didn't run it...  Smiley

Dr. Web Antivirus http://www.drwebhk.com/en/virus_techinfo/Trojan.DownLoader9.12375.html
Unfortunately not free but you can get a Demo lic for a time
Suspected something when I saw network activity from a 27218346293184.exe file ran a search and ran into that link.
Hope it helps

Hmm I searched for that file in the locations that google said it would appear and did not find it, I'm also scanning with the 2 antiviruses I have other than avast, hopefully it does not appear.

I suspect I'm safe because I did not allow java to run on that site and exited almost 2 seconds after I entered the site and saw that it looked very sketch.

Guys/Gals,

You really need to secure your wallet. Having your wallet encrypted is not enough because a malware could wait for you to enter your passphrase and then empty your wallet.

You should have your wallet on a secondary PC (or VM) that you dont use to browse the internet.

The passphrase for your different wallet should be differents for each wallet.  Use a offline password safe program to keep track of your password. Personnaly I use password safe http://passwordsafe.sourceforge.net/.

This is also true for your mining pool. Dont use the same password for all your pool. Also, in your profile setting, put your account in anonymous. This will prevent other user from knowing your username and try to bruteforce your password.

If you use password safe (or any other similar application) you can configure it to generate long and complex password. Since you dont have to remember them anymore, dont be scare to use very very long password.

Also, dont forget to backup your password safe database to another location in case that your PC crashes.

@hughbt
Why would we prove that it's not his signature. The quiestion is, how can he prove that those ARE his signatures if they are completely different?
As lawyers clearly say (in those links I posted), it's legally ok to send this type of letter by email, but if you have a big issue (meaning a big lawsuit) and serious thoughts about your lawsuit you won't be sending it by email because it's a weak evidence and THEY would have a hard time proving that those mails are their and that are in the original form!

He doesn't have to prove that it's his signature. He doesn't even have to send emails like this. He can go straight to the court. It's just the one way to end this case without a lawsuit against crycurex. I'm sure that this e-mail address is their only contact with crycurex, so they can't send them a letter.
I'm curious what is the sender's e-mail address, whether this address is connected to the pryorcashman.com domain.

They don't have to send it, but they did sent it and now it can be used as evidence in the court, but only if they prove that it's theirs and that it had not been changed in any way.
Just like the signature is not important so is domain. But yes, I also would like to know from which address was the letter sent.
Also, if the lawsuit ends with Kanye loosing (or even better it gets dropped) then these letters can be used as evidence in the counter lawsuit against Kanye for terrorising community and for financial damage caused by those letters and lawsuit. And that is why I would like to have a proof that those letters were in fact written and sent by them.

I'm dying.
Hi,

This is from the cryturex oficial staff on irc support chanel:

Code:
 Guys, crycurex contacted me
We are goin to reverse all trades and withdrawals back to date 22.1, at 17:00 CET, as there was multiple price error, and some trades were not executed at correct prices.
That means, every user will have same balances as he/she had on 22.1 at 17:00 CET
Pending withdrawals have been cancelled and you may request withdrawal again.
Deposits made after 21.1, 17:00 CET are already credited on user´s account.
We will contact those, who received withdrawal between 21.1, 17:00 CET and 22.1, 13:00 CET, to fix withdrawal issue manually.

So they are working to solve the issue Tongue

I'm not official staff Smiley

I'm just helping. So he doesn't waste time on IRC.

Thanks for posting it here

Since when is an email cease and desist eligible? To my knowledge it must be sent via postal mail.

ITS JUST A WARNING, its not binding, it could be even signed by Brad Rose's dog, doesn't matter.

You are basically saying that anybody could have sent that letter and that it should be treated as a warning nevertheless...
If the letter is signed then it MUST be signature of the person ho is signing it and signature HAS to be THE SAME ON EVERY LETTER NOT COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!

Sorry buddy but that bit in red just isn't correct i believe, At work we send out lots of letters from the managing director, and we sign on his behalf, If the signature is preceeded with a     PP.  ( per procurationem latin for "through the agency of" )  it retains all the legal standings

I am also dubious about the letter, which firm of lawyers doesn't have a letterhead?

Also in  the original application to sue everyone (the one that contained Jane and John Does 1-50)  they reffered to Kanye as "Ye" in several places which made me question the legitimacy of the document itself As im not a huge fan of the bonehead is "Ye" a widely accepted term for Kanye or his estate?

Also  for the latest letter being a scam to be able to close down a site without paying out coins, i like the thinking of the guy that suggested this. you are very sneaky sneaky sir!

I removed that part of the post cause after thinking it through I actually said to myself: cut the crap, you don't know that and we don't need false information right now! Cheesy

But, that would mean that I could sign as Brad Rose and send whatever mail I want and that's ok? How can it be ok?

Yes, but when you "PP" a letter, you would normally sign your OWN name, not the name of the person the letter is from.

In other words I might sign "Fred Bloggs" and underneath, where "Joe Smith" is printed, I would write "PP" before it.

It would not be normal to sign someone else's name on a letter - that's forgery, plain and simple.
