So, was that letter from Kanye's lawyer that was posted earlier real?

Why doesn't it say anything about it on the Crycurex site?

I have not seen any evidence of a letter or any indication from Crycurex. Crycurex still lists COYE.

I guess someone attempting to use scare mongering  tactic ... nothing in the attached image indicates anything regarding I Crycurex anyway and even if i'm not wrong Crycurex is not even a US registered site to begin with so... that email/letter doesnt really matter.

crycurex admin was the one that posted it in the forum. Also, I got a confirmation from him that he is delisting it in IRC. He is just currently swamped with getting his site automated and getting withdrawals processed, but he plans to delist after was the impression I got.

Edit: If he goes through with taking it down though, it's not really a loss to us. We have another exchange that's promising to list it (VOX) and honestly the admin of crycurex might change his mind when he realizes 90% of his traffic is for coinye.

Is there a new wallet to download, I get the blkindex.dat error with the one from the site.

Any ideas?

Has anyone else experienced this error with this wallet? Usually you have all the files in the .zip or they are added into the .exe. Maybe there is a different version I am unaware of?

Thanks Cheesy

For those of you who have no idea how the real world works:  Roll Eyes

So, Kayne wants to sue someone outside of the US. In order to actually be able to hold them in court, you would have to travel to the country of origin and employ a lawyer who is a citizen of that nation and hold court in that nation, and even then the chances of them pursuing any action without you being a national citizen yourself are slim to none. There's this little thing called "In Absentia"  here in the US that allows court cases to proceed without the defendant in a case like this -- but only in the US. Sure, they started a civil lawsuit -- that's only enforceable in the US. Criminal court is a little more flexible when it comes to cross-country cases, but civil courts have no jurisdiction outside of US borders and the only way for the suit to have any grounds is if

A. the defendant has dual citizenship for both the accusing and origin nations
B. the defendant has a business within US borders

Really now, there's no reason to make something so simple so complicated with all the idiotic interjections and speculations. You should have noticed in that paperwork that one of the main defendants is Amazon.com, the only reasonably-vunerable defendant in the US......clearly Kanye is butthurt that he can't win, and now is going on a witchhunt to save his reputation and not fall into the gayfish stereotype.

I'm sure not everyone here is based in US so kayne cant exactly touch most of us, if he wants to sue an exchange which is located in another country... he can try but his chances of winning will most certainly drop and might just end up losing the case all together. Coz end of the day it still a country law basis.

Rename this coin, go to the exchange, keep on mining and be patient, this is the only way to give this coin a real chance.

I believe the problem is the name that they used before "Coinye West" and the gayfish logo.. They should have used the initial logo, much less offensive towards mr. West.    Maybe he would have liked it then... but now it's too late.

Guys, should we ask Snoop Dogg if he wants his own cryptocurrency? with his approval? He is a bad mofo!

One of the guys suggested that we send the lawyers and/or kanye a bunch of fish sticks lol....

Here, these are fake ones that can be shipped without frozen

Can you imagine if they just get a massive flood of fish sticks in their mail?

Just change the official avatar of this coin, ask people to update wallet, change the name and be done with it

Change the coin name to KOI or CYES like you say.  I find it hard to believe that *uckface West has a trademark on the word COYE.

Update  Just did a search of the U.S. trademark office and no such tradeamark exists for COYE pertaining to *uckface.

http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f=toc&state=4804%3Adkuhjh.1.1&p_search=searchss&p_L=50&BackReference=&p_plural=yes&p_s_PARA1=&p_tagrepl~%3A=PARA1%24LD&expr=PARA1+AND+PARA2&p_s_PARA2=COYE&p_tagrepl~%3A=PARA2%24COMB&p_op_ALL=AND&a_default=search&a_search=Submit+Query&a_search=Submit+Query

I'm looking into trademarking COYE right now.

Where is this letter from?

Also, as I asked before, how is it possible to keep this suit going when the name, logo and image of this coin have been changed?!

I mean, the abbreviation COYE, is not gonna be confused for Kanye by anyone! This is nuts...

You faggots do realize that coinye is a scam correct? You deposit your coins into these exchanges and pools and they INSTANTLY shutdown because of a letter they get from Kanye's lawyer? Sure some sites are allowing withdraws before shutdown, but I'm sure not everyone gets their coins out in time.

THAT is how they are making their money. Taking in deposits and then shutting the site down. That is what most pools are doing too.

WTF!!

COYE will be removed from trading. Crycurex.com received official letter

http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/3502/8b2b.png

That didn't take long. We need an exchange that is actually willing to stand up to the unfounded claims of gayfish west. Like I said, no exchange no moon. I don't really mind bailing on crycurex once they remove coinye and waiting for vox. Eventually someone will realize that this lawsuit is nonsense (and or be outside the country) and we can trade for real.

crycurex.com is registered in Slovakia. Waiting to see if this letter is legit or a troll.
