You lead and I'll watch you walk away.
Change this and see if it still makes sense.

Complete the sentence... "I would spend all my cash if..."

I needed to pay bills.

I wanted to buy something.

I was out of food in the kitchen.

My kid was sick and needed medicine.

I ran out of gas far away from home.

I needed to make bail.

Bitcoin is just money. Why would you do anything different with it than you do with any other form of money?

"i would sell all my Bitcoin if i want to buy things i need and i want"  Lips sealed

Do not sell all your bitcoins. Trust me. Sell only part of it as required and keep of the rest for the future, as you never know what would the value of bitcoins in the future. Its better to preserve it and keep it safe for the future.

as i always said, if you are not going to use your bitcoin then having them is pointless. we are always talking about bitcoin should become more popular and go mainstream while we are just sitting on our stash and not using it , just so that the price goes up and sell it for profit and get out.

i mean it is good to invest in it because it has a good potential of returning out investment with big profit but if we want to see bitcoin grow we should also start using it as a currency too.

I agree, selling all your bitcoins would be a foolish decision to make, believing that the prices will go high in the coming years, it is better to hold few bitcoins and keep it safe in a cold storage and use it only the value of bitcoin reaches the moon.

i would only sell my bitcoins if the price goes up to $1000 soon.

I think you should have patience and wait for some more time. As we believe it would reach $2000 sooner or later. And looking at the present scenario I believe it would reach upto that mark. If it reaches that price then that is the best time to sell as we would be earning profits out of it. But it depends on how much bitcoins do u hold??

I would sell all my Bitcoins if I had an accident that left me with severe brain damage that it would make me believe selling all of my Bitcoin is a reasonable thing to do.
and what if in that accident you loosse all your memory and then how do you know that you are having bitcoins Huh

That's not how it works.. you watch too much movies dude. If you lose your memory, you won't lose it all. Probably only part of it, so you will know that you hold some BTC. Also, he said that it will left him brain damage, and brain damage may not be connected with losing memory.

You lead and I'll watch you walk away.

Yes, but it can down too. This depends on a lot factors. If the price is stable at $10000, I wouldn't sell my BTC. That's normal. But if the price of Bitcoin skyrocket to $10000, I would sell it because it will likely go back to the previous price.
That's the problem with bitcoins volatility and the previous cons like the MtGox fake price increase, no one has any confidence when the price rises too fast.

"I would sell all my Bitcoins if..." the value of bitcoin was 10,000 USD for 1 BTC.   Tongue  But who wouldn't, right?  Cheesy

I wouldn't.

You are brave enough.. Cheesy When would you sell your coins?

Would never sell all of them.

Sell a few at 10k...sell some more at 100k...but still keep majority of coins.

Think about it, the higher the price goes , the less you actually need to sell to have a large pile of fiat.
And if they are that valuable, why sell them?  Unless there is some reason you think they would lose value.

Very True. Why to sell all the coins if the value is really high, Just sell part of it and keep rest of it for the future as we never know what future holds for us, and yes if the value is high you can get high profits even by selling few of the coins, So selling all the coins when value is high is not a great idea.

You are brave enough.. Cheesy When would you sell your coins?

My dear friend, considering that out of the 3800 fiat currencies not backed by gold that have every existed in the history of the entire world not one, not a single solitary one, of those 3800 different paper moneys has survived. Every single last one of those has gone to zero. The money gets printed until it costs $100,000,000,000 to buy a loaf of bread and it dies.

Every paper money on earth right now is not backed by gold, and I doubt any of these will be the first of the 3800 of these we've already tried that actually survives. The probability of monetary collapse of the US Dollar is near certainty. As close to certain as we can get. The only question is how long it will take.

Now gold has been the ultimate money on the planet for the last 5000 years, so usually in the world the rule has been, "who has the gold makes the rules," but not anymore. Now there is bitcoin. It mimics the best qualities of gold as a store of value, and combines it with the best medium of exchange the world has ever seen. Bitcoin is now the ultimate money, the best money on the planet.

Why would ever want to sell superior bitcoins for inferior fiat paper money? If the price goes to $10,000 per bitcoin, don't sell all of your bitcoins and then go out and buy a ferarri with pieces of paper, just buy your ferrari with your bitcoins directly!

Agree..however to be fair, the pound has been around for a long time now...although originally it meant a pound of silver which today costs $240.

I would sell all my Bitcoins only if the price will go up to $10.000/unit. That would make me a very wealthy man.  Cool

If the demands ever  hits 10k it can only appreciate upwards from there
I still wouldn't dump at 10k when we get there
