Hah! The bloke is delusional. I don't even think if Manny would really accept the fight even if it will rake in millions into his pocket again. McGregor has long been a washed-up dude after his defeat with Khabib. Things aren't just the same after that submission. I would rather believe a Khabib b McGregor rematch rather than Pacquiao v McGregor. The odds for this coming to fruition is ultimately low..
To fight against one of the top boxers of the generation after a defeat against Floyd Mayweather is indeed delusional and if there is a fight proposal i am certain that Manny will jump on that fight simply because of the big money fight he is getting as Conor still has the drawing power even loosing against Floyd and Khabib

And even if this happens, the odds for the fight would be utterly one-sided, so I don't think anyone would be interested in betting on this fight. But yeah, we know how fight promoters work: they follow where the money is, and could care less about the honor of the fighters as long as they make millions.
The odds maker will give very little odds for McGregor if that fight is announced but the promoters also will go forward with the fight because of the huge amount they can earn from the fight.

It will surely bring a lot of money but I would not suggest that this fight is good for Manny, he is still active in boxing, I think this kind of fight is only good when he already retired in boxing like Mayweather.. people love entertainment but hopefully will choose those who are real boxers and has the title so his journey will continue as one of the oldest boxer in the world that are still active and winning.
I think yes it is very possible to happen, since boxing is about business also, many people will likely to have this fight since if I am not mistaken McGregor is a mma fighter and not a pro boxer. Im sure tickets will be sold out in just hrs of waiting, but since McGregor is new he will not make his early games with a defeat ,let us just say that I am a Pacman fan, he dont want to have a  lose stat now.

Conor still has his fight with Cerrone to think of. Any other matters should be put at hold, especially an opinion of him wanting to fight with Manny, a heavy weight in the boxing industry. Honestly, Manny might even just put on an exhibition for him, let him put out a few punches before knocking him out, which is not what the people want, and even what Conor wants. He needs to solidify his position and improve his skills before even thinking of touching Manny.

I thought that Conor is talking about facing Floyd again? How come Manny's name pops out?

This is just to hype Conor's next fight with Cerrone, I don't think that Manny will bite on this one. If I'm not mistaken, he already publicly states that he doesn't want to see this kind of 'exhibition' fight. So I believed that this fight won't push thru.

What I want to see is both fighters are using their own style(i.e Mcgregor using MMA and Pacquiao using Boxing) and not restricted by a rule of what fighting style should be used.
If there is no restriction then you can call that an MMA fight and i highly doubt that any boxer who found financial success in boxing will ever try MMA as anyone can take them to the ground and finish the fight easily and that happens if there are no restrictions as the fight can happen anywhere  Cheesy.

BTC0.005 - for me, this fight will not happen this year. Any takers? Anyone? There are talks according to McGregor itself so there's a chance for a match. And a long period for negotiations so this is a risk for me.
I can bet that the fight will never happen and i can spare 0.001BTC for that Cheesy.

I think this is possible as long as both camps agreed with whatever deal is on the table.  I also think that this fight will be more interesting than McGregor - Mayweather fight.

Pacquiao is a boxer and a fine one, on the other hand Conor is a complet mix martial art artist. Conor can defeat anyone in his world but defeating a fine boxer which is not conors cup of tea is not going to last long.

I think we will see the same result like we have seen against money Mayweather. If this box really see a reality then my horse will be Pacquiao.

I think it is early to tell the result.  Conor have hands that can fight back.  As long as this fight is not rigged, there is always a possibility that the unexpected will happen.

I doubt it. Manny has cemented his place in the boxing world as one of the strongest and a big veteran at that. Conor needs to consolidate his standing, and fighting a big match up like with Manny may do so, this requires him to win. Its a high risk high reward gamble imo, but its still a match up I wouldn't advise for Conor to take. Just from the high risk high reward factor, this makes it one of the lowest possible choices Conor could possibly take in his career, currently that is.

I think not, Manny would not fight for money we all know that he's a hall of fame boxer and I don't think he would waste months of training to fight a person who's boxing is not his real forte.

He could fight just for fun. And you know Pacquiao is also a philanthropist so fighting for money and giving it for donations can also work. I know if this fight pushes through, it will attract a lot of viewers. That would bring a lot of money to both fighters. I would love to watch them fight.

I think the battle will be interesting and ambiguous. All the same, McGregor did not perform in the ring for a long time, and in my opinion he drank alcohol too often. In other words, he became a businessman.
However, I think it is impossible not to underestimate it. What really bothers me is that most often when athletes and fighters who have left their careers return back, they lose.

That would be an easy win for Manny if the fight will be in boxing rules or easy win for Connor if that would be in the octagon. Both fighters have different fighting styles and stamina because of their sports. I think this match will be just for money, and the results will be too predictable.

Personally, I'm not a fan of this kind of fight, this is just for money, but the fight will be boring to watch because the results are pretty easy to predict.

You right this match is just for money and entertainment
But whatyou mean about easy to predict, Do you think that if the fighter who gets the biggest bets and money libe has to lose?

Nobody really saw Mayweather vs. McGregor happening until it was made official so this one is definitely possible. Conor should have realized after all those years that Floyd just allowed him to box in the first few rounds until he gassed out. Maybe Manny will be kind enough to play defensive too for the entertain of the fans.

If the fight happens, I can't imagine Manny's face everytime Conor tries to talk trash during face offs and interviews. He will probably laugh the whole time. Maybe he should hire an "anger translator" again  Cheesy

I also read that article but before Mcgregor talk about any Pacquiao, he must first beat Cerrone in a decisive way so he can regain the respect of the fighting fans, there is a possibility that this fight could push through we all know Manny he never backs down and he is always ready to fight anybody if the price is right, and like the article have written it could be a megabuck paycheck for both fighters, but still, a long way to go, before this fight happens.

I think the fight between Conor McGregor and Manny Pacquiao might come in the future because McGregor really wants and asking for a fight with Manny in a the ring to have a good record, as a Filipino i don't think Conor McGregor stand a chance with Manny pacquiao because 3 years ago the fight between Conor vs Floyd Mayweather is really boring that Conor really lose the fight, so i think Conor will lose again if the fight happens.

^ ^  It's up in the air at this point.  You could've posted that at the UFC thread since it's just news.  I mean what are we gambling at here?  That the bout could happen this year?  (It would make a nice little prop bet actually.  Lol)

There are even other threads here like the Pacquaio and Mayweather 2 which is not even at 0.0001% in progress but there is a discussion lol.

Nice idea you have there. Let's do some gambling here.

Deadline of accepting my bet until the end of the month. Until the start of the actual fight and we should here the first round bell, only we will determine who's the winner as there might be a problem even seconds before the match. Smiley Quote this post.

Also I think he should take care of his reputation as a boxer to fight only a professional boxer. The thing with conor and mayweather is just all about for money it's just their propaganda to allocate money. You wouldn't fight an MMA fighter because he doesn't have any belts or what and of course it's just about money after all.

But this is just my opinion, we may not know it might happen.

Do you think this fight is possible? sure, it's gonna bring a lot of money for both fighters and this should be a better fight than conor vs mayweather because we might see the power of Manny here punish a trash talker conor.
If you really want to punish the trash talker in Conor McGregor then he needs to rematch Khabib Nurmagomedov and not Manny Pacquiao and if he fights Pacquiao whether he will have the same kind of success to fill the stadium is questionable as the hype surrounding him defeating a boxer is just a good laugh after getting humiliated by Floyd Mayweather as Conor gassed out and if someone is not possible to fight the entire fight.

the fight between Mcgregor and Mayweather was too predictable. other than all trash-talking the fight itself is not that interesting. even before the match a lot of boxing expert knew Mcgregor will get tired easily and lose the fight since his training routine greatly differ that of a boxer and even Mcgregor change his routine to a boxing training routine that wouldn't have made a lot of change on his stamina.

What do you think on this article?

it will only be interesting in the first few rounds when both fighters are still on their top shape since both of them are an aggressive fighter but if the fight dragged out we will see the difference between an MMA fighter and a Boxing fighter. What I want to see is both fighters are using their own style(i.e Mcgregor using MMA and Pacquiao using Boxing) and not restricted by a rule of what fighting style should be used.

Sure. Almost past his prime but doesn't back out a fight whoever is there as long as they'd agree on dates and money. Pacquiao however might dictate a date for this one. He is a politician and its possible that he will run for a higher position which by the next election is May 2022 picking dates probably December 2021 is going to be strategic for him.

Conor seem humble himself with Cowboy if you have seen the pre-fight he shake hands with him.
It is highly unlikely to see a fight against Manny Pacquiao if you see the press conference yeseterday Conor wants to win a title in boxing and since there are many fight divisions in boxing he has the leverage to pick an worthy opponent rather than going for these high profile experienced fighters who will school a boxer like Conor McGregor who is having a loss in his debut  Wink. If he fights anyone that will be a high value PPV and since that is the case why he wants to take a risk against one of the best experienced boxers when he can pick some easy fights to win a belt.
