Now it makes no sense to translate our Altcoins into Bitcoins. if bitcoin will grow in price, then the whole cryptocurrency will also grow in price. Bitcoin today has not solved its main problem of scalability, and so far it still has the lowest transaction speed, namely about seven transactions per second. Even though, it is not a very wise decision, it is definitely very safest decision. As bitcoin is considered one of the safest coin out there for a long time. I believe you can make more by holding some altcoins.
Bad bad bad ideea ...why did you do that? We are not even nearly the bull run and this little push might end back to 4k after the retrace so you should have waited for the real bull run to begin wich for sure cannot be this year as bitcoin halv is still far away...hodl and invest, learn from the youths and think like a gent.

I strongly agree with your opinion that money is not everything, but there are more valuable things like peace, family and health. We really need money for life with money to get what we want but on the other hand we forget other things that are more valuable. In cryptocurrency we continued to work hard but there were still many mistakes and losses, but it was not our luck, the most important thing was that we tried our best

Can't say I proifted much, I paid way too high of fees on the exchanges, lesson learned on who to use and who not to next time. Right now I want to see how this next move shakes out. If I miss out on a big 30% move on some coins, so be it. I will sleep well tonight.
From this post I've realized now why altcoins are getting low in market price when bitcoin is getting up. In that case, I would rather invest on bitcoin for now, rather than to fall for the trap that all altcoins can bring. Just one thing that keeps my mind blown is that, why do ethereum and some top altcoins can stay on track with bitcoin?
For me that is not a great decision i think all good coins have good upward potential from here and secondly holding a diversified portfolio is always better than putting all your eggs in one basket, so maybe you need to re think your strategy.
the value in usd maybe are same, but we are loss much in bitcoin value, like my condition now, i have portofolio in altcoin in USD value i'm loss 20% but in bitcoin value i loss more than 50%, that's why think again before take any action

Well, you are entitled to your opinion and then you becomes responsible for them. Only know the reason why you converted to BTC, so don't feel bad about it. Also, I think it's wise holding some altcoins, in this case, altcoins with great use case.
Now in acumulation phase, as always in general, altcoins could bring you from 10-300% in btc, on the other way btc could only bring you dollars
I believe that it is one of the worst decisions at the moment, because Bitcoin is raising, but altcoins are doing it much faster and are giving not only 20 percent. You just need to find great altcoins that are ready to launch.
This is purely concentrate the future market because if all the holders are exchange to altcoins into Bitcoin it will going to moon. So new investors are make huge profits in upcoming days and altcoins also good decision in this market because large number of traders are continuously participate in crypto trading so both are profits but Bitcoin is the ruling community.

It is better to take a rest because you cannot always stay at your front monitor watching the price moves. We can search for another profit from other coins, and I am sure that you can be able to do that. I think not only you that miss on the rise of the coins, but the other people also have those things too. But I am sure that we still have time to see the other coin can rise again. Be patient and don't stop for searching the profit from any coins.

In my opinion, investing in altcoins would be better than put our investment in bitcoin, if the amount of money we got can't afford to get a lot amount of bitcoins. But if we had many altcoins then the possibilities for profit should be increase.

I also do not think it will be a wise idea to put all your hard-earned money into a single coin. But here I do not mean at all that bitcoin is a bad investment. Of course, bitcoin, the king coin, is better investment. But I think you cannot get much profit from a single coin. You have shared that you lost some portion of your investment as exchange fees. But there are a lot of good investment coins and new coins which could rise by multiple folds in short time. So try some of them. You should divide your investment into bitcoin and other coins so as to get more profit. Good luck.
Yes my friend, that would be the day of turning back to Bitcoin. Yesterday i exchanged my dogecoins to BTC. Also now i am exchanging my all altcoins to ETH and BTC. I feel that there will be a great rally about the coins which is TOP20 in coinmarketcap. The process going on just like the big run in 2017..
does if bitcoin and ethereum experience growth in the market make the altcoin not experience growth? why are they all now turning to bitcoin and ethereum? I myself still save my altcoin assets and haven't sold them or changed them to bitcoin or ethereum.

I think an investment portfolio should be balanced and diversify among coins. Altcoins has dipped a lot in price during the past year, is this a good time to convert all to Bitcoin? Well, I hope you made the right decision.
and i think if the OP hold a good altcoins such as ethereum, eos or others,,
its better to convert a half not all,, because all great altcoins project always have a great future
always do your own research before decided anything in crypto investments
Fyi, there are some altcoins that also increase with a huge percentage, look at bitcoin cash and litecoin, the price is increased so high even bigger than bitcoin increase percentage. Both bitcoin and altcoins are good but if you want more profit, altcoin is also a good choice, not only bitcoin.
