Can't say I proifted much, I paid way too high of fees on the exchanges, lesson learned on who to use and who not to next time. Right now I want to see how this next move shakes out. If I miss out on a big 30% move on some coins, so be it. I will sleep well tonight.
This is not a great move from your ends all you could've done is tether your funds buy either Btc at a lover rice or buy other coins. You could've done this yesterday when Btc was still at over 5k USD all the best to your decisions.

You have to diversify your portfolio especially if it's not much because just holding a bitcoin will reduce your chances of making profits with other coins. I think if you only hold your altcoin then sell it at the top You will get more profit compared to selling everything for bitcoin.

I had the same experience with some exchange having very high withdrawal fees. One exchange I never forget is CoinTiger. Looking on the altcoin's withdrawal FEE there is too damn high that instead of my expectation to get more tokens, I'm losing instead. I don't know if they have adjusted their fees but Im never going back there again. I did convert most of my altcoins into Ether since both acts the same in the market together with bitcoin.

Why bitcoin all alone? You would be better off with holding the altcoins you just exchange ,that's not a clever move my friend ,I hope you won't regret it later on

Right now there must be a lot of altcoins that have decreased due to the decline in bitcoin, and in my opinion this is a natural thing, because many people convert their altcoins to bitcoin
they are looking for a smaller risk, we know that all altcoins are affected by bitcoin, of course the bitcoin movement is the determinant of the movements of other altcoins, and this makes btc the safest coin

I think investment should not be made only in one coin. Other altcoins grows separately whereas BTC will grow as a whole. Small investment results in good profit.

One good decision of converting your alts back to BTC. If you are depending your whole life with altcoins and you don't hold bitcoin, you need to re-decide and start getting some bitcoin while they are considered cheap if you're living with the 2017's craze. But if you hold a great amount of BTC and you have alts to hold, it's still a good portfolio afterall, don't let it pass that you don't have bitcoin on your stash.

In my opinion, the first step was to evaluate btc. If you paid attention to the first increase of btc, most of altcoins were in decrease against btc. After that, the money begins to flow to the altcoins, which should be the second step.
Bitcoin is the decentralized cryptocurrency so many peoples are not interested to converted the all altcoin to Bitcoin it is really impossible to possible on forever. May be day traders are enter into long term holding then only this will possible otherwise impossible to happening in crypto market.

its not a best idea to change all your altcoins into Bitcoin. Looking at the current raise in the prices of most cryptocurrencies on the crypto market, some of the altcoins had about 30% increase in its market price. With such increment, the value of the total number of coin will also increase to 30%. You might not get such increment when you change your altcoins into Bitcoin.

All decisions are on yourself, if the price of bitcoin can continue to increase and reach the new ATH then I think you will benefit from the steps you will take and I think it is better for you not to invest your money in coins that do not have good quality in the market.

You should have leave the coin In altcoin rather than exchanging it to btc, is better to exchange altcoin to btc only when the particular coin pumps.

I am not sure which coin you converted and what is the price changes happening on that specific coins. These all things needs to verify that the before you went for selling bitcoins for altcoins.
Bitcoin has the decent growth in the last few days if the which you sold for bitcoin also needs to bump over bitcoin to match up the profit. If didn't find such profit then you might lose funds but not sure.

That's your choice and what should be the problem? i don't even see any problem with it. If you have missed a golden opportunity and then that should to that t take the bitcoin as your safe place. A little correction happened to the bitcoin tonight.

You haven't made such a good wise choice in my own opinion. You should have left your portfolio with the different altcoins. Every coin has its own potential.

If that happens, then you should not force to invest your money in coins that do not have good quality in the market. There are lots of coins that you can choose which at least will be more profitable for you so that you don't always worry about fees for each transaction, just choose 1 to 3 coins that might benefit you more than you invest in lots of coins but in the end you only get regrets.

Why should we convert all altcoins into BTC? Although the price of BTC is now always increasing, I think that we must be selective on converting which altcoins for Bitcoin. For, there are some altcoins that have very promising future, that is why we can keep them on our wallets and wait for the worthy price and volume on the market by holding.

If the altcoins price will grow more then the bitcoin price then you made a wrong move, also if bitcoin price will not grow and stay stable some period i don't know if you made a smart move, if bitcoin price reach a new ATH then you are lucky.

anyway, that is his money. whatever he wants to do with it, he's in full control with it. at the end of the day, whatever happens to his investments, it is his sole responsibility to take care of it. he can receive a lot of piece of advice or criticisms, but what's most important is, he followed his own instincts and no matter what happens afterwards, is the outcome of his own decisions.
