Argentina has qualified in the end and they will play against Venezuela in the first knockout game. In this competition format you really have to fuck up majestically to not qualify. Add to that low quality of more then half teams in the Copa and you can see why Brazil & Argentina supporters won't be happy with anything less then trophy.

We shall see, my first favorite for the trophy is Colombia with Brazil, Uruguay and Chile following them. Argentina will lose against first good opponent maybe even Venezuela.

Argentina need to secure their win, or the might get stunned, a lone goal lead is very tricky at this point.

Paraguay are trailing by a goal too, although Paraguay aren't playing well and I doubt they could secure even a draw here, but a lot of scenario is still possible tonight.

Qatar aren't giving up and from what I can watch from 25th min onwards, it actually isn't such a shitty game. Desperate defending from the boys in maroon but up front they're more than a match for Otamendi and co.

Seeing the highlights now and saw Aguero miss a couple. My word about that early goal though. 2 goals to win my bet but not if they make another blunder like that!

Here we go! Argentina with an early lead, 1 down 2 to go.

Although the goal was a total gift from the Qatar defense, but Argentina fans could care less, I'm sure!

I would like to make an unpopular opinion.
After Columbia match, I started believing that Argentina with such a bad tactical play won't even make to semifinals. However, after the match with Paraguay my opinion has changed completely. Now I believe Argentina can win Copa this year.
So what changed after Paraguay match? There are two things, positive things come up for Argentina:

1. Messi: He wasn't upset at all after the match like he becomes after most of the losses. I think goal (much needed) gave him confidence. Even in his speech after match, he said, "It would be crazy if Argentina disqualifies in group stages." He is not in the mood to lose at all. A confident Messi can turn any game in any circumstances on any day.

2. Team: So Argentina tried almost every combination on pitch in last two games, except trying Dybala. Out of all combinations, there is one which is really amazing. It includes Lauro Martinez and Sergio Aguero upfront. Messi in AMF position. Acuna, Parades and Lo Celso in midfield. Tagliafico, Otamendi, Pezzella and Casco at the back with Armani. Argentina tried something similar in second half against Paraguay and it made them completely different side until Scaloni substituted Lauro with Di Maria.

So others may not agree with me but I still believe Argentina can win 4 matches from here in row and lift the Copa trophy this time.

PS: Argentina winning match against Qatar alone will guarantee their spot in Quarters even if they finish third. They won't have to depend upon the result of match between Columbia vs Paraguay.

I'm rooting for Paraguay tonight , their last game against Argentina showed how Paraguay can compete with the top teams and today they have all the motivation to win it since they do need the win to be 100% sure to qualify
Colombia already guaranteed first place in their group , and as I can see from different sites all people confirming that Qeiroz will give a chance today for the young players
please note he is still new with Colombia so yeah I'm certain he needs to try other players today since it's the first official competition for him with Colombia and he should be planning for World Cup as well not only Copa America

Under 2.5 not looking bad as well IMO , but goals in Copa America has been really not predictable especially yesterday where I was expecting under 2.5 goals in both matches

regarding Qatar vs Argentina , this is the tricky one that I'm not sure at all what to take
maybe BTTS is good but not sure about it TBH

if Argentina played the same way the played the last matches I can't see them winning by more than one goal
they are playing with pressure as well unlike Qatar who are just playing for getting more experience , that pressure may lead to bad result for Argentina

but as I stated not sure about it at all , will update if  I make some bets

If i were Colombia's coach then i will play with the second team including the goalkeeper since regardless of the results i will stay the first in this group. Besides losing vs Paraguay is preferable since chances to get ride of Argentina is bigger.
Qatar should try to score or at least keep their goal clean which is not obvious even vs shorty and the ten woods...
Will follow Qatar vs Argentina game, hope it will not be boring as Peru...

I wanted to risk again in Bolivia vs Venezuela with a 1 - 1 draw and this time luck did not favor me like the Argentina vs Paraguay match 🤪

Staying at the bottom. Thing is without watching matches it's hard to have idea about team strength and pick in a predictor. Anyway, today pick:

Colombia vs Paraguay: 2 - 1

What are you talking about? Only 2 teams have an advantage how? Anyway yes, Argentina to win the tournament is looking very good, they are not in a good position now but this looks like the easiest game they will have in this tournament. Maybe a few bad results is good for a big team,,, because if you win everything too early you lose near the end like Barca and Messi in Champions League 1 loss and they were out. Liverpool lost 4 times and still won the Cup. Tough group stage remember?

They should be Qatar, they should beat them comfortably but I also thought they’d win against Paraguay & Colombia.

The Copa America always brings weird results for some reason.

Argentina will definitely advance to the next round because they be able to defeat Qatar. They will easily defeat Qatar. However, this is somewhat a poor system since only 2 team will have advantage.

Great win for Brazil last night, I make them favourites to win it. This is where the tournament really starts to take shape though, Argentina might not even advance to the next round which would be a massive shock.

Will not it be confirmed if they win against Qatar? They will end as 3rd place and they will qualify to the next round. Or one team from group A and group B will be qualified?

I didn't expected to see such big win of Brazil. They were able to score even more. On the final minutes of the game penalty of Jesus was saved by Peru goalkeeper. After difficult match against Venezuela, this win was really nneded for Brazil, not only to finnish 1st in the group, but also to improve their confidence.
I can't wait for Sunday games. Will we see another failure of Argentina? Even if they will win against Qatar, it may be not enough because not everything in their hands. Colombia have guaranteed 1st place, so they may rest they key players and even lose to Paraguay, which would mean that Argentina woulf finnish only third. Offcourse, they can qualify through ranking of third placed teams, but it's risky thing.

Argentina looks badly and I think that there is only hope for Messi. now looks like he can't pool the whole team like Ronaldo does with Portugal.

Took a quick look at the thread and placed bets on the two choices above and they hit with brazil scoring early on and into the second half with alot more. Venezuela had a harder time with boliva with all their shots hitting the crossbar in the second half but they put in a nice header in the last 2 minutes of the game to solidify the win.
Not bad odds for them either @1.57x before the match and brazil over 2.5 goals them getting 5 goals with the penalty awarded into extra time.
