Well, as expected by the majority, Brazil won. The best team throughout this tournament, and with the better players, had no problems tonight and they're now waiting for either Peru or Chile in the final (I think Chile will go through and will play their 3rd consecutive Copa America final).
IIRC, prior to this game, Brazil had an undefeated record against Argentina in games during KO stages (I think it was 8 wins and 2 draws), last time Argentina won against Brazil was in the 1990 WC with a goal from the legendary player Caniggia. That plus the fact that Argentina has been playing poorly lately, odds were pretty low for an Agentina win (so, if you backed Argetina, you didn't do your homework properly lol).
Now, Messi & Co. will play for the 3rd spot next saturday (literally no one cares about this game tbh), but regardless of the result in that game, i'm expecting a few things after Argentina returns home: The DT getting sacked, and several players announcing their retirement from the NT (Messi, Otamendi, Di Maria, Aguero).
Also, Dani Alves, MVP, what a beast! And he's 36yo!! Fun fact: last time both teams met in an official game (not friendly) was in the Copa America final in 2007, who was the MVP of that game? Dani Alves
What a legend.
