I thought Messi was much polite 🤪

My pick in the pool was 3 - 0. Looking very promising LOL

I am watching the match. Lets see how Messi and his team performs.

Fight after a foul on Messi
Well, there was no real fight at all but...

Two good goals in favour of Argentina for now, I’m hoping that Chile will get one in the net
Good game for now

Finally one solid Copa match in normal hours in my part of the world. Hopefully, it will be an entertaining one. Last two finals on Copa were between Argentina and Chile and they were not very enjoyable. This time the stakes are a bit lower so maybe we will see more open match with coaches willing to play for goal more.

I'm afraid it's going to be another typical Chile vs Argentina game, but I'll be watching since I've got some free time.

I've lost quite a loy on Argentina during this tournament (Including my picks in the pool) because of my love for Messi and I'll still take Argentina to win tonight @ 1.89 seem a pretty fair value.

A bit of statistics, in case anyone's interested:

Head-to-head record (all games): Argentina - 59W / Chile - 6W / 24 draws. Argentina are undefeated against Chile in Copa America games (19W, 6D). Funnily enough, Argentina lost the last two Copa America finals (2015 and 2016) against Chile in the penalty shootout so, if the game today goes to ET today, [on paper] Chile have a good chance of winning the bronze medal.

Also, last chance for Messi to show up in this Copa America, what a shit tournament he's had so far :/

*edit: and how's the pool going, guys? Any early winners? Or do we have to wait until tomorrow's game?  Cheesy
Well Messi will need to miss his penalty shoot too LOL

I think Messi is better freekicker than shooting a penalty shot, seriously.

hahay is leading. So far he had 24 points. We have two match left. bigdaddy (23.50) and LTU_btc (22.50) has the possibilities to be the first winner too.

When Chile won the trophy many players got tranferred in big clubs and became key players in their teams. Do you think that something same would happen with Peru?
Which chilean players are you referring to? And to answer your question, I could see the GK going to a bigger club (he's playing in Peru), he was a beast against Chile.

Argentina vs Chile is few hours.

I am not sure about the winner between Argentina and Chile, even though I'm leaning towards Argentina but I think this will be a match with a lot of goals. The odds for over 2.5 goals is great and thats what I'm going to take tonight and maybe a small bet on Argentina
I am also expecting a free goal match. Both team has nothing to lose. Both will attack and we will see goals from those attacks. The winning possibility for Argentina is high but Chile is a good competitor.

I still wonder if any Peruvian player will get any good transfer after the end of Copa America.

It's very much possible. If you caught the eyes of the selection board of a club then they will hire you. Clubs are always looking for talents so they won't miss it.

This was indeed the tournament of surprised.I was just thinking before the game that Chile should get an easy win and the semi finals were without any big surprise then it comes Peru and make a really good win against a Chile without bright ideas.

I think though that now it is obvious who the winner of this tournament will be,Brasil.
Brazil is not sure to be a champion in this turnament, Peru become underdog team in this tournament, they compete with extraordinary spirit.
Brazil could lose if they underestimated the power of Peru just like Chile did. if Peru become a champion it will be good for argentina because they will not be bullied again by media lol

Do you remember Chile has won the last two editions of the Copa America even when everyone would have expected Argentina to lift the trophy on both occasion, Brazil needs to be very cautious, If not, the story of the underdogs might be to continued.
of course, I remember that time, chile becomes underdogs team and Alexis becomes a new star. Even though Peru has lost against Brazil on the group stages, it will certainly be a lesson for Peru when they rematch against Brazil in the final.

If Penu wins the the bookies will make millions if not billions from this single match LOL
I believe with Copa America and CAF, bookies already made billions! and maybe some people with 0% knowledge of soccer and 100% luck too Tongue

It's Copa America, anything can happen mate  Grin
Since am always a neutral when it comes to Copa American, i would be happy if an underdog won this tournament.
Yes, so far in this tournament we have seen it. Chile was defeated by Peru, Argentina hardly equalize against Paraguay, Brazil and Venezuela draw match, Argentina was defeated by Colombia and many more unpredicted matches.

If Penu wins the the bookies will make millions if not billions from this single match LOL
If we compare the current and past grid tournament tables, the data is slightly different from each other.  It seems to me that the teams show really unexpected results.  No wonder bookmakers began to change inserts.
Apparently all this is happening against the background of unexpected results of the group stage.
Every match in Copa America is indeed unexpected and difficult to predict. Just an example like Peru, who would have thought that peru could beat Chile with a score of 0-3 without any resistance. And for the final, maybe an unexpected match will come again.

It's FOOTBALL, anything can happen,
but bookies and majority of fans world wide would back Brazil to take it home. I do not think it would be comfortable by any means.
Argentina has another shot next year, but need an overhaul of the training crew to stand any chance, otherwise it would be more of the same.
Yeah, I get it but in some tournaments/leagues you can predict nearly accurately and teams have consistency. Like EPL. To me CL is hard though.

Anyway, I think Peru does not have anything to lose so they should play free game. Brazil will be in under pressure for sure but they should win this match very easily.
