Also, on the note about the ankle sprain, it was later revealed that he suffered a grade 3 level of ankle sprain - it is the extreme level of ankle sprain. I had this before and took me like about half a year to fully recover. You maybe can walk after a couple of months but how you walk would not be the same as compared to when you are in normal mode. Since he has great people surrounding him, for sure, they will find a way for him to recover faster. However, not seeing him in the field for the next couple of months for me is very understandable given the degree of his sprain he suffered.
I can understand very well how swollen it can become right after the incident inside the field. That's actually very painful!

When rules allow only three substitutions in a match, players around 30 years old can play full 120 minutes. Nowadays, since Covid-19, with 5 substitutions a match, coaches don't want to overuse players and give advantage to opponents that use more substitutions. Coaches have to react properly with tactical and player changes from opponent.De Paul played well and actually shown his strength. In World Cup 2022, I did not about this player and Alexis Mac Allister too but these midfielders played impressively.
