Is it 100$ or 1000000$??
Let's see the 1st value. Bitcoin is the biggest most used crypto currency. As it is a unstable currency so it's obvious that the price will go up and down. But I think 100$ it's not possible. Bitcoin is the Best crypto currency. Day by day it's use is increasing and also the investment is also increasing.
Again 100000$, I think it's too big to think of. It's really very very high. But it may be possible. And also it need a long long time.

Anything is possible to happen that bitcoin will reach to $100k or higher, or worst it will become less than $2k

I read an article a couple of days ago, in which a guy was saying that he thinks bitcoin will reach 100.000 $ by the end of 2018.

I think that will be impossible. My limit to this is that bitcoin can only reach 20000 USD and the government will to a bad thing. I am contented even if bitcoin reach 20000 USD because that will be too much compared to our currency. What do you guys think?

You are asking for pertinent and/or fact-based opinions and yet your post is basically the opposite of it. Who is this man you are talking about? Why do we have to discuss whatever this anonymous man is saying? Is he a kind of a crypto expert who has already established his accuracy in terms of Bitcoin price speculation, or is he just another man saying something without any logical basis? Could you please relay the said article here? We should try to look for his bases in claiming so.
As for me, $100,000 is too high to be reached within the year 2018. Why? Because that is too big a dream, a bit way out of reality. Let us stick to being realistic.

$100K is really possible to be hit but I don't see it happening in 2018. With so many FUD going around, would be happy to see the price to go at least $50K at the end of the year and probably in the next couple of year it can achieved a price of $100K.
I haven't read that article but I would assume that he probably has a big investor that's why he remains very bullish about the price movement.
Let's say we should take small steps like 2018 and then movement with the $100K goal in 2020 or 2021. Make sense?
Although I wouldn't be surprise if it touch it this year when all the big whales a lot of fresh blood pump the market once again specially like we have seen in December 2017.
I don't think that bitcoin price will reach $100k at the end of 2018 because of huge amount sold these past few months. It will pump and rise again before end of the year but it will only reach its peaked price like last year december at $19k+ usd. It will be very hard to reach $100k in just a several months and it needs a very big amount of buy to pump so I think that it will end up only in range of $20k-$25k usd before end of 2018. Bitcoin price is very volatile thats why it won't reach that price very fast.
Nobody can predict Bitcoin price accurately, however, Bitcoin may rise to $100k but not this year I suppose and there is a potential chance in another couple of years. As per experts prediction Bitcoin would reach $60k by this year end and the current drop price is a signal to it since the experts predicted this drop as week somewhat correctly. Just we need to wait for good things to happen in future.

Yes, me too I read that article so now a days the bitcoin decreases because the people scared to low more so you the strategy is to hold it and next months or days the bitcoin is more reach 100,000$.
It is possible, now there are a lot of peoples start to invest in bitcoin. Look at the 2017 chart and bitcoin is in bullish trend. In this year bitcoin would face a lot of issues that crush the market because of the whales, but there will be a time that the market going very active and the price going up drastically.
A hundred thousand dollars is a big price for BTC! Maybe within the next five years!

Bitcoin gets a lot of attention from the public and in particular it has a very small amount so I think getting bitcoin for $ 100k is just a matter of time. Investing in bitcoin is the wisest thing I've ever done with my money.
$100,000 is still possible if another pump like what happened late last year and the other years. But I would rather say $50,000 as the realizable ath this year. But of course i'll be more happy if it is higher than my expectations.
No one can say if bitcoin will reach 100, 000$ bec.we dont know the future. I give you an example, even the currency of any state they dont know if when go exalt there exchange currency. It is always base on there economy.

Ok, Maybe 100.000$ was a reach. But how about 50.000$? I mean realistically speaking. Could this be possible?

I do not want to be a dreamer and say that this year the price will reach 100 thousand dollars, although I would very much like it. I believe that growth will be more gradual and smooth, and we will be able to see this figure in 2-3 years.
it can happen, as i see on the few last years bitcoin price always increase every years, even in the end of last year bitcoin price reach up to $23000. so it is not hard to reach $100.000 for bitcoin, probably in next 2-3 years.

Today bitcoin hit 400k plus in Philippine money for me, I'm hoping that it will happen in 2018 but we know that bitcoin price will goes up and down maybe it can reach it but not in this year 2018. its hard to believe that in this coming 2018 bitcoin will get 100.000 $.
