i recommend ETH and NEO - two coins with bright future
if I had to give 2 altcoins, I would say:
- Zencash
- Viacoin
- Zencash
- Viacoin
Eth and Ripple for me. For eth, especially in this outgoing year of 2017, it has recorded quite a huge success. Thou the coin suffered some serious setbacks at some point in time, it is still able to stand the test of times. Also experts in the cryptos' world are suggesting 2018 to be a boom year for eth. I hope it happens cause i have a whole lot of investments in eth. For Xrp, it is a very good coin too. The coin also all through 2017 has been trying to enforce it self over every other alt coins. I really hope 2018 will turn out good for ripple too. So for me eth and xrp will take the nod.
WAVES and ethereum, i think it better for your interest to research everyones suggestion here rather than reading all the explanation here, your decision should be base on what you learn about those coins and how much fast ROI will it give it to you.
i am agree on these two coins the prospect is obvious, can make up your own porphyry exclusively from them.
I would also advise you to pay attention to eos, such a dark horse, can fly away

Try the anonym coins. I would recommend XSPEC and ENIGMA ENG. Bouth anonymous coins. XSPEC is getting a update and after that it would be possilbe to use this currency on countrys where are cryptocurrencies forbidden. So that hears very promising for me.
I strongly recommend you to invest your money in Ethereum. Why? Because many ICOs today run their project based on the ethereum platform. As a result, the Ethereum's users are getting bigger which effect its increasing price in the market. For the second one, I am not really sure. You may choose Litecoin or monero. I guess two of them are good for long term investment.
I would be recommend Ethereum and Centra (CTR) hold three or four months will give you very good profit.

Rhoc is pretty interesting technically, NEM is being used by weechat so it has some potential 
I recommend investing in Ethereum only, or Ripple only. Choose one of the two and invest long term. There is profit in both these two great coins.
