To my stance ETH & NEO are the two coins which have huge inclination to proceed for high reward.Both the coins are based on smart contracts which would be adopted in future by many large companies and financial institutions,as a result of which i can say that when many people would engage in this technology price would shoot upward.Now a days many result oriented and highly successful projects are using these smart contract which support the above two coins.These two coins would grow to a great extent in future.
for me is Litkoin and Marinecoin, why i choose that coin because Litkoin is born from my country i know the dev, and for marinecoin is because this coin is build from 2013 still excist till now. also because they give an airdrop amount 450.000 MTC for 20.000 user that want to become the community of Marinecon. I would recommend to you the ethereum and xrp it has huge for good investment in the long term, their value is always moving in the market unlike the other altcoins. Ethereum and xrp are have strong platform that could be use for investment.

I think that for successful trading it is necessary to invest in more coins. I can advise you to invest in coins, which are platforms for creating decentralized applications. For example Lisk. Besides him, I believe that the good prospects for the Stellar coins. This coin can move Ripple.
XRP and NEO both have the tech and application (as well as well-deserved hype) behind them to standout in 2018. Both could end up being good investments.

two altcoin perhaps you could try ripple and litecoin. the coin has a nice development until now and it looks like for the next few years will increasingly have an increased price.

The top 10 list in the coinmarketcap.com have a good performance niw but many of this is fluctuating. So,for me the most two good alternative coins among the all cryptocurrency are the ethereum and the litecoin. These two have many peojects coming in the next month so i feel that the price of it become rise and also the ethereum and litecoin are stable 
I would put 500$ on NEO and the rest on electra (ECA), car vertical (cV) and revain (R)
NEO, CV are the two that i have put my money recently.Revain is good similar to CV but Revain is for rating and CV is for cars information stuffs.
I like revain and will probably invest some of my this months salary into it.

I suggest you this two good altcoins Ethereum and waves.

Eth and Ripple for me. For eth, especially in this outgoing year of 2017, it has recorded quite a huge success. Though the coin suffered some serious setbacks at some point in time, it is still able to stand the test of times. Also experts in the cryptos' world are suggesting 2018 to be a boom year for eth. I hope it happens cause i have a whole lot of investments in eth. For Xrp, it is a very good coin too. The coin also all through 2017 has been trying to enforce it self over every other alt coins. I really hope 2018 will turn out good for ripple too. So for me eth and xrp will take the nod.
All new projects on NEO will make you reach
NEO is a good choice. If you need two good Altcoins, I will advise you also Ethereum.

Searching and looking for best coins to invest might take you so long to find and you might loss a lot of time. There is no need to work that much if you can take my suggested coins to invest, I'm not considering these as the best coins but I totally earned something from them. I've been investing on Ptoy, XRP(ripple) and ADA, you can take a look at them and feel free to choose or ignored my recommended coins.

Another coin that are very promising to me are Envion and WePower. I really love their project and the future of free energy blockchain.
