I don't think you going to get much out of CPU these days. You better off with GPU mining
I agree with you here and I can say based on personal experience that CPU mining is absolutely not worth it in the short term or long term due to many factors like overheating cpu etc while GPU mining is still very much profitable provided you have a very powerful setup like a combination of 1080tis and you need to do loads of research regarding which coin is profitable to mine on a regular basis to keep up with the market trends. I do not advise anyone to invest into cloud mining websites since majority of them are mostly scams while the remaining few legit ones are not so profitable.

I think that in the current situation CPU-mining it is a waste of money for electricity. An exception is only if you find a coin whose mining is optimized for CPU.

You are funny,
cpu mining can be used like a ptc or a faucet so you use just a little electricity and you earn cash in back ground.
So do my members who mine through my system.

its very grateful for the input since the GPUs are in huge demends and price high.
This is a new way out and maybe more friendly for our electricity.

I would like to mine cpu minable coins. I need to know about coins available for cpu mining and with good scope in future.

Thanks in advance  Smiley
CPU mining isnt a good option,it will only eat a lot of electricity,HDD mining too isnt that ideal nowaways because we have GPUs that has higher hash rates than these two options, why would somebody will create a coin which you will be required  to mine using CPU?its like doing the hardway when there is an easy way.

I think there are still some few coins that you can get decent profit mining them, but generally speaking it does not worth it unless you have cheap or access to free energy to mine them.

I'm mining with 11 servers and 4 PCs (half of the cores only) on zpool (yescrypt algo) and I'm getting around 70-80 XVG daily

Simple math shows you pay to dig.
1 XVG = 0.062$
70 XVG = 4.34$
Average 2 CPU (8-12 cores total) server is 300 watt when CPUs on 100%.
11 x 0,3 x 0.12$ x 24 = 9.5$

So you profit per day is: -5.16$

Good start Smiley

p.s. Last coins I mined was at 5$ per server, per day. So your 11 servers = 55$. Below 2-3$ per server it does not worth the efforts.

CPU mining is a madness. You cannot profit and never hit roi.
Don't waste your time. This calculation is 99% correct and i will not suggest you to try cpu mining.

I have never seen a calculator who talk about winspiral's cpu mining system.
So it can not give right datas.

Why cpu mine and earn nothing when you can just gpu mine with greater power.

Because you have only CPU Smiley

If you want to miming BTC or a top of a altcoins (eth, zcash, or others) its a bad idea. Better to mining a cc that is not famous and not pumped.

True specially bitcoin is so hard to mine nowadays and will take you a huge cost of money and resources to build a decent and efficient mining rig. There are now more profitable cryptocurrencies to buy that can be optimized with just using cpu, as for me I am considering to build a mining rig for ethereum since I find it good in terms of value and much easier to mine.

Yes, but you need to have a really fast CPU.  If it's not current it would be  waste.  i experimented with Minergate on a couple of older PCs mining monero.  In a week's time I think I made a few dollars.  Wasn't worth it.

IMO it's still working for some fresh coins which their difficulty is still low although that coin has no value yet. Just catch it as much as can and wait till enter to market. This is what makes the CPU mining is still popular among people.

i have enjoyed reading this as a CPU miner
Electronium is not to bad on CPUs
It is really profitable to mine using your CPU,i would like to know what all coins you are mining and how much profit you are earning per day,so that to understand the general idea on what the profit level would be at this stage,i would not want to strain my system and start mining coins but if it is worth it ,i will try it out.

I used to like cpu coins a lot, but nowadays I always feel there is always someone or some group who quickly get gpu miner.

CPU miners dont means you cant mine them with GPU. It only means that GPU miners have no advantage over CPU miners.

For Credits (CRDS), an Argon2d GPU miner has not been developed yet. And yes, if/when it is, it should have no advantage over CPU.

I am mining AEON during night time. And if I remember to run miner before i go to sleep.  I am sure one day those few coins i mined will be worth a fortune.
