CRDS is CPU-only. We are listed on CryptoBridge. We have a new calculator: http://crds-calulator.000webhostapp.com/
There are still some places left for the airdrop (see below).

Credits Airdrop

We are announcing a Credits (CRDS) airdrop! A maximum of 200 users will be accepted for this airdrop. Each application will be reviewed individually and each user that is accepted will be given 250 CRDS.

You need to
1) Join our Discord channel: https://discord.gg/Hq7dKhh
2) Download the Credits wallet: https://github.com/CRDS/Credits/releases/tag/v1.1.1.0
3) Create a CRDS address
4) Sign up here: https://[Suspicious link removed]/forms/8aNjRCiyi3u9Um2E3

Not all applications will be accepted. Users with the following have increased probability of acceptance:

1) Being active on Bitcointalk
2) Being involved with masternode coins
3) Being involved with mining

CRDS is a good CPU mineable coin with solid development

Nothing valuable said so far...

There were some coins before 1-2 months where mining returned 10x - 20x of the electricity bill. On CPU. But now everything goes down including BTC price. So what we can mine?

Mining for electricity bill (+- 50%) is not a deal if everybody can GPU mine.

They say 2018 will be the year for the privacy coins and i like a new kid on the block - Turtlecoin (TRTL). Just over a month old and only started trading on its first exchange, tradeogre.com a few days ago. Current price on tradeogre is 4sats - was 1sat yesterday lol.

Its easy to mine  - if you have a decent GPU you should be able to get 20K coins per day. A lot of folks are throwing nicehash power at the pools recently so mining payoff on your own GPU has come down a bit.

https://turtlecoin.lol/

Have a read of the website and head over to the discord group where you will find a lot of friendly people to help you out with any questions.

No ICO, No premine, no shenanigans.

DYOR and Good luck.

i do agree Grin, i have GPU mining as well but i have been mining on Xeon E5620s and they pay for power and a bit more and at 150 watt a server its not to bad, it hashes around 305 each ( 2 xeons each rig - 2 rigs) its not massive but it started off as testing as every one was putting up i5, i7 rates and cost on a Dell r410 is better than a handful of 5 and 7s did try monero as well it was about the same as electronium

When Radeon Vega was released Monero difficulty start rising significantly and now xmr is not very profitable to mine . You cant earn a lot of money on cpu mining in 2018 , but if you have a cpu wich you didn;t use , or you don't need a whole it's power you can mine with it . Why not ? It is still profitable

Why cpu mine and earn nothing when you can just gpu mine with greater power.

I would like to mine cpu minable coins. I need to know about coins available for cpu mining and with good scope in future.

Thanks in advance  Smiley
Ethereum is very profitable. But i am not sure how it is now with CPU

I think monreo and magi coin would do better , in terms of course mining the heating is the prime concern. It depends on the number of cores I think but you should also try GPU mining. Good luck buddy.

for mining we need a very powerful cpu and for the year 2018 as nowadays it certainly needs more new things!
It's gotta be much too expensive to purchase a computer that can even do 5% of solving calculations.
The competition is too big.
if we need a computer, we better list on online mining mining?

CPU mining - three approaches:
1. CPU mine a coin the first few week of its existence if no GPU miner exists to mine it.  Get in early is key.  Monitor the ANN-section for any new coins and consider mining those just launched.
2. If you believe that a coin will go to the moon within the next few months/year then you can mine it with cpu.
3. Find a coin that is cpu-mineable only - like XMG (Magi) - and mine it.
If I were to start cpu mining now, I would mine XMR or BCN with xmr-stak-cpu miner in Linux (with huge pages enabled - this keeps my cpus warm during winter :-)

how can i go about the mining also, i have interest on cpu mining but really dont know how to go about it, can you be of help? i heard is very profitable on the long run. so how do i give it a try?

Good question. I have been doing CPU mining for a year. Although it is not that profitable on paper, it will be profitable if you pick the right coin to mine. Verium is the coin I am mining using my old Dell workstation. Verium can only be mined using CPU, and Verium token is backed by a strong team with constant updates, which makes verium's value going up a lot recently.

Ugh so many altcoins out there, so many options lol. I was told to go with Vertcoin for CPU Mining but now it sounds like Verium is better, and others say Monero or Magi, and so on. I feel like I'm picking the wrong altcoin now for CPU mining cause no one here has suggested Vertcoin so far. Idk which altcoin to go with for CPU Mining.

I've been told that Monero's difficulty is too high now to mine with CPU's. I'm not sure though, anybody want to weigh in on that? I recently also asked this question somewhere else and I was told to mine Vertcoin instead so that's what I'm attempting right now unless other people here suggest otherwise. Reason is, I have a lot of free Microsoft Azure credits every month and I don't really use them much so I figured instead of letting those credits go to waste, I might as well set up a VM and do some CPU mining so that's why I'm also interested in knowing what the best altcoin is to mine with CPU's so I don't totally waste my Azure credits.

If you look into monerobenchmarks you will find the various hash rates for different CPU models. Then you can use minecryptonight to find out which coin would give you the best return. Keep in mind this is for CryptoNight coins only.

IMO : Don't try CPU mining.

with cpu its better to mine monero, all other coins are gpu or asic, so its not profitable anymore with your cpu. So just focus on monero and hope it will be big in 2018-2019 and your gainz will be  much more than 30$ per month.
