The strike rate doesn't matter much. Bell has got to stick there and help out for a draw, they cannot win, they can only hope for a draw. So, while fighting for one your strike rate doesn't matter, you just gotta sticl there till the end.

Bell wicket will be great reward for Paki bowlers as they are doing hard efforts with bowling with different combination, English batsmen has tight grip on this match and it seems they can trail and will be able to get lead in first inning and this match will be decisive.

Today morning only i read about cook that he said in interview that he is working on his forms , and will make a good stamp in the coming match and i see a good start from him.

it was really a superb first odi between sri lanka and west indies, it is always that a short games gives more exciting, the way west indies started it went good, in the bowling section sunil narine done his work and made the match till the end interesting. it is clearly showing the disability of the new comers from srilanka batting order that they cannot take pressure , and started to lose the match from the good position . but atlast they won. it was really a super nail biting match, and rain helped in making it more interesting

Good start for the one day series between West Indies and Sri Lanka, it was a decent performance by both the side. West Indies batted very well after loosing some quick wickets and they have also done very good job with the bowling and turned down the match as they were just 1 wicket away from the victory. But at the end Sri Lanka managed to complete the run chase after loosing 9 wickets.

What a terrific nail biting match it was, finally Sri Lanka made it. Full marks to Ajanta Mendis. West Indies almost turned the match but that no ball washed out their efforts and on the free hit Mendis connected the ball perfectly for a Six. Overall good match, West Indies gave tough fight till the end.

Sri Lankan batsmen now making mistakes and playing wrong shots in a hurry to finish this match, i think if West Indian bowlers succeed to take 2 more wickets than it will be twist into this match but it will be much hard for them to get it into under pressure.
