Many questions still to be answered, but we have big breakthrough in Pakistan and India issues for the ICC events I am feeling Jay Shah could be done good for the sack of game because he is having good charismatic personality for solving big issues without any problem now we will be having all ICC events which could be played in India or Pakistan could be hybrid many things still needs to be updated, but this could be good for both sides.

PCB surely was on back foot, but they have done good job for their country and at the end have something which is acceptable for both countries cricketing fans hopefully we will be having good changes for the cricket from this new Chairman who is going to make his mark in cricket after doing amazing job in BCCI.
Recent developments about Pakistan and India playing in ICC events are big move forward. Jay Shah has played crucial role in solving these issues using his charm to tackle complex problems. Possibility of having hybrid ICC events in India or Pakistan is exciting benefiting both countries and their fans. Pakistan Cricket Board has worked hard to protect its interests and result is acceptable to fans from both countries. With new chairman in charge cricket is likely to see positive changes, building on great work he did at the BCCI.
Pakistan Cricket Board is trying its best to protect its interests but if BCCI says that they will play Champions Trophy in hybrid model then ICC will confirm the schedule and venue as per India's choice. India has directly stated that they will not go to Pakistan to play the Champions Trophy and if India does not participate in the Champions Trophy ICC will never take it for granted as ICC will always want India to participate in such a big tournament. Where 95 per cent of ICC's total expenditure comes from India, it makes no sense not to have a venue and schedule of India's choice. In the end it may be decided that all India's matches will be played in Dubai while the remaining matches will be played in Pakistan.

Yes because Nepal had a 50 over innings in which they scored only 142 runs.  Every team's batsmen should aim for above 250 in 50 over innings because in this their bowlers don't have to work so hard and they win the match easily by applying pressure.  In this match also the Bangladesh bowler stopped a lot of runs and took wickets and got a very easy target.  Nepal batsmen played very poorly if their batsmen could easily target above 250 but they didn't work hard and struggle which will lead to losing this match.  In comparison, Bangladesh batsmen won the match by achieving this target in 29 overs and their batsmen played with a very fast pace. Congratulations to the Bangladesh team for this win and may they continue to play with similar performance and keep getting stronger in the next matches.
Right, do you watched yesterday game of this series and this game was played between Pakistan U19 team and Japan U19 team. In start of series, Pakistan U19 team showed great effort and won all past games with brilliant effort. Yesterday, they beated Japan U19 team and I know Japan U19 is not a good team but I did not expect such difference between their effort and Japan U19 team lost game by big margin 180 runs and all wickets Japan U19 team for 63 runs. Pakistan U19 team set 243 runs target in 50 overs by losing 6 wickets. Huzaifa took down 5 wickets in 6.3 overs and gave 8 wickets. Other 2 wickets was down by Husain and other two Ahmed. All wickets was fell down for 63 runs. Congratulations Pakistan U19 team to another amazing win and continue to win game and beat their opponent.
Congratulations to India under 19 to win game and for their upcoming matches. India under 19 is a very good team they only lost 1 game and they won this game by amazing playing and good runs. Fantastic performance all player of team showcased with amazing strategy and team work. Every player gave their 100% and this victory is the result of their dedication. Excellent India under 19 team. I was also very disappointed to United Arab Emirates under 19.united Arab Emirates under 19 total runs for 137 and lost the match. India under 19 total runs for 143 and won the match. The 12th match between India under 19 and united Arab Emirates under 19 at Sharjah Cricket stadium. United Arab Emirates under 19 won the toss and elected to batting first. The best bowling performance in the India under 19 and team was by yudhjit ghuda scored 7 over conceded 15 runs and took 3 wickets.

Since Jay Shah has been elected as the new ICC chairman, the BCCI need to elect a new chairman for their organization. Champions Trophy imbroglio need to be formally sorted out, as PCB is still grumpy about the hybrid model. But Shah will have his hands full. He is the youngest ever chairman of the ICC (and before that, at the age of 31 he was the youngest ever chairman of the BCCI). Shah, while he was the BCCI chairman had come up with the idea of WPL, which turned out to be a huge success. Pay equity policy between women and men was another one of his masterstrokes. And Shah signed the gargantuan $6 billion media rights deal for the IPL, which was the largest ever in the history of cricket.

If the remuneration is reduced further this year from the previous years, then I think the attraction of foreign players towards IPL will decrease, which will not bring any positive message for IPL in the long term. There are many cricketers who retire very early from the national team to play in this tournament and if they do not get the appreciation accordingly, then gradually the attraction towards IPL will decrease.
Nah. I don't really think foreign player interest would drop just because of a remuneration drop since their remunerations would still be the highest among all leagues and it sometimes helps their careers in a big way too.

In fact, more and more players from around the world are giving up on their home teams to fully dedicate their time towards the IPL every year.
What I mean is that if they reduce the amount they provided earlier, then the attraction among the players may decrease a bit. But it must be said that there is no cricket tournament above IPL, whatever amount of money they give is definitely more than any other tournament and in this respect, the players will definitely be interested in playing IPL because they will not get that amount of money anywhere else. And there is nothing to talk about the popularity of this tournament. IPL has now become more popular than World Cup cricket. On one hand, the inclusion of the top players in the world and on the other hand, the influence of money has taken the tournament to a different level.

There are many cricketers who don't play for their country to play IPL what do you say. We have to understand that IPL is more popular than World Cup or ICC major events. A lot of money is spent on IPL which is why this IPL is so attractive to people and the amount of money that broadcasting channels spend on advertisements is not the same in India Pakistan matches.

Currently, IPL is the most popular event in cricket due to huge inflow of money no other event can compete with this even World Cup so just because of these players love to play here we have huge fan base and big market of India is related to this.
BCCI now using this for their own sack as they are bringing quality players from Australia, South Africa, New Zealand and England which is helping them in many ways its simple about this IPL most chances this is going to be for long time.

In the auctions held in other seasons of IPL, it is usually seen that IPL teams prefer foreign players and buy foreign players for huge amounts, but we did not see anything like that in the auctions of this season of IPL. There has been a lot of emphasis on domestic players in this season and teams have been trying to sign domestic players with huge sums of money. Teams have tried to retain good players in the past but those who could not be retained have been re-purchased in the auction at high prices. Rishabh Pant Shreyas Iyer and Venkatesh Iyer these three batsmen really did not think that the value would be so high. Most likely Rishabh Pant will be the most valuable player in this IPL.

There seems to be some sort of directive from the BCCI to the franchises to focus more on domestic players. Else how can you justify
Yuzvendra Chahal and Arshdeep Singh selling for ₹180 million each, while Lungi Ngidi and Brydon Carse going for just ₹10 million? If this trend persists, then foreign players may pull out of the IPL and focus on other leagues such as the BBL and the Hundred. Also, there seems to be price-fixing by the franchises. We saw that in the case of Will Jacks.
In other seasons of IPL, various teams would go to great lengths to recruit foreign players and each player would be sold at a very high price, but this IPL auction is probably the first where foreign players are not valued much and domestic cricketers are bought for a lot of money. There may be something like the possibility you mentioned as foreign players come to India for months to play IPL but if their remuneration is not to their liking then there may be many big stars withdrawing from the next seasons and showing interest to play BBL. I am not talking about buying at a high price, but the player who is bought at a price that will benefit both parties should be bought with that amount of money, whether it is a domestic or foreign player.
In IPL, I have seen from the beginning that domestic players are valued more than foreign players. And there is a good reason for this. Because Indian cricketers cannot play in any foreign franchise leagues, which is why they are always valued more. This is a strategy of their country's cricket board, maybe they have tried to keep their cricket attractive. That is why I am not too worried about it.

Undoubtedly IPL is the most popular and most expensive franchise tournament in the world and the biggest reason behind the popularity of this tournament is that huge amount of money is spent in this tournament and the best players in the world get a chance to play in this tournament. In other words, if foreign cricketers are not interested in playing this tournament, then this tournament will lose popularity. The way foreign players have been dealt with this season I don't think any player is happy at this price. Once this has happened, if the second time happens again, then for the third time these players will not write their name in IPL, instead they will choose another franchise league. There is no problem with BCCI pricing their local players higher, but it is important to ensure the right price for foreign players as well as buying local players at high prices.

ACC U19 Asia Cup, 2024 has started from yesterday where there were a two matches between Bangladesh U19 vs Afghanistan U19 where Bangladesh U19 won by 45 runs. And another one was between Sri Lanka U19 vs Nepal U19 where Sri Lanka U19 won by 55 runs. In the 1st match of ACC U19 Asia Cup, BANU19 scored 228-9 runs where Kalam Siddiqui(66) did a half century and Azizul Hakim(103) did his century what made him player of the match later. But AFGU19 Able to Scored only 183 runs where Faisal Khan(58) did a half century but rest of players lost their wickets with lower runs  Apart from that, in the 2nd match of Sri Lanka U19 vs Nepal U19, team SLU19 Played good enough with scoring 233 runs where Lakvin Abeysinghe and Sharujan did their half century. Besides NPLU19 scored 178-10 runs where only Mayan Yadav(62) able to impressed everyone with his half century but rest of players failed to achieve runs as expected. What's why they lost due to their poor batting performance. Although this is just a start. There are a lots to go
In this first match as well, both the teams have played very well as Bangladesh played very well in this 50 over innings which gave Afghanistan batsmen a big target.  The Bangladesh batsmen had given a target of 229 runs, due to which the Afghanistan batsmen could not achieve this target and they will lose this match.  Afghanistan's batsmen scored 183 runs in 48 overs and the entire team was bowled out, if they had continued to score runs slowly, they could have won this match.  Hard work and not played well by Afghanistan they should improve their team as it is weak and batsman and bowler played very well from Bangladesh to win this match.  If Bangladesh play with similar performance in the next matches and continue to win, they will continue to win the next matches with strength.
Nepal U19 team and Bangladesh U19 team played 5 th game yesterday and this was not much exciting and intense. The third ODI match of the series between the visiting Ireland Women's team and the host Bangladesh Women's team is being played today. It may have been noticed that Bangladesh Women's team has won the first two ODI matches against Ireland Women's team. In those two matches, Bangladesh women put up an impeccable batting and bowling performance. Maybe in today's match too Bangladeshi women will perform their impeccable performance. Ireland Women batting first today, they are currently 97 runs for three wickets in 28.1 overs. If Ireland women can score more than 230 runs today, it will not be easy for Bangladesh to win this match.
In this series, Ireland Women played a lot of effort and well, but still Bangladesh Women have won this series completely.  Because Bangladesh Women are stronger than Ireland Women, due to which Ireland Women could not win a single match in this series.  In the third match today, Ireland Women had set a target of only 185 runs in 50 overs, in which Bangladesh Women's bowling played a role as they stopped the runs and did not let them play the entire innings by taking wickets.  At this time, Bangladesh Women have won the match by achieving this target in 38 overs.  Congratulations to Bangladesh for this win and also for this series win Ireland Women did not win a single match in this series and were whitewashed by Bangladesh Women.  They wanted their bowling to be good and capable enough to win this match.
One day competition among Bangladesh women squad against Ireland women squad was finished and all three matches of this competition was completed and third one was played today. Before playing this match Bangladesh women squad already lead this competition with two victories and in third one, Ireland women squad displayed Amazing batting skills ane managed to collect 185 scores as a defend but this was scores were not high to emerge victory at least they needed 250 or above scores for winning. With not worries, Bangladesh women squad simply achieved all scores of Ireland women squad, Sharmin Akhter and Fargana Hoque both build strong partnership in batting inning and both collected 61 and 72 scores respectively. Next among them T20 format competition will begin and Bangladesh women squad have great possibility to again defeat Ireland women squad.

Yesterday on Friday, there was a meeting of the ICC, BCCI and PCB on the champion trophy and the final decision of the meeting was that India is not coming to Pakistan to play the matches and the Indian games are set to play in Dubai but at the same time, if the Indian team will not qualify for the final match then the final will be going to held on the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. The final verdict is that India is not coming to Pakistan to play this big event.

What a shocker! Literally everyone saw this coming. I have no idea how PCB thought of opposing them when they are at a low point these days. It turned out to be a pointless ego battle basically.

The point that make me confuse that if PCB didn't have the guts to oppose this decision, why they were screaming all over the media that they will not accept any Hybrid model. Mohsin Naqvi's repeatedly talking about equality and ruling against the hybrid model, now accepting it at once. Shame on him and PCB.
You're this statement is having no logic because if I am correct you are living in Pakistan and better understand how things are going here no system all corrupt and criminals are holding high profile spots just because of this Pakistan is doing down for last few years.
Mohsin Nagvi is just a puppet he can't do anything against strong lobby of BCCI in ICC now if PCB wants to have Champions Trophy 2025 rights then surely they are going to accept hybrid system for the Indian cricket team because they will never visit Pakistan due to their strong influence in ICC.

Jay Shah has taken over as the ICC chairman, with effect from today. At 36-years old, he is the youngest ever chairman of the ICC. Cricket fans will be quite relieved, because the previous one (Greg Barclay) was a big flop. Unlike corrupt administrators such as Sharad Pawar and Narayanaswami Srinivasan, I admire Shah because he is not greedy. He was one of the main backers of inclusion of cricket in the Olympic games, and I am sure that having him as the chairman will be a net positive for the associate nations.
