LOL... you are comparing Virat Kohli with Sachin Tendulkar. IMO, you can't do that. There is no apple to apple comparison, as Virat and Sachin played in different eras. Sachin had to face very tough bowlers such as McGrath, Warne, Muralitharan, Donald, Pollock, Walsh, Akram, Akhtar and Bond. Today's bowlers are more or less emasculated and this makes the scoring much easier. And the behavior off the field can't be compared as well. Sachin was a thorough gentleman, while Virat always behaves like a monkey when things doesn't go his way.

Attacking Travis Head and Glen Maxwell just because they won the match for Australia is peak of shamelessness. And they don't behave in a sane manner when India wins. When India wins, they go on to abuse players of the opposing team. I guess this has to do a lot with the manner in which Virat Kohli and his team members behave on and off the field. MSD was such a gentleman and he used to behave nicely to everyone. But the current team members doesn't have that quality.

This is very much related to sportsmen spirit. MS Dohni has a class same like Sachin Tendulkar both are respected not only because of there classical game but also because they are a true gentlemen. Hardly I have seen Sachin or MS misbehaving with anyone. Virat kohli may be an exceptional player but he is no way near to MS or Sachin in terms of sportsmen spirit.

They do share a friendly bond thanks to IPL which is why he felt bad for Kohli just like many others around the world, but he isn't a saint or anything like you are making him out to be to be honest.

Maxwell recently liked an Australian social media pic which made fun of Indians losing like babies. Australians aren't really known for their kindness etc generally.

Only Pakistani players are banned in IPL and there is no ban on Sri Lankan players from participating in IPL, AFAIK. Recently ICC has cancelled membership of Sri Lankan cricket board following there government decision to directly intervene in board affairs. It will be a good decision if BCCI ban players like Shakib ul hassan from participating in IPL. He always create controversy.

Apparently the Indian government is also happy with the potential tax bill from 2024 onwards. The BCCI paid a total of ₹1,159 crore in income tax for the period of 2021-2022. With the increase in revenue, the tax bill may go up by at least 2-3x.

Yeah, hence I said that they don't have time for such shenanigans and petty stuff. BCCI's guys prefer to invest their energy more into new schemes, which assure them bigger paychecks.

Recently there is a rumor that BCCI has banned Bangladesh players from IPL after Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Many content creators are claiming that BCCI has taken this decision to pit Bangladesh against India in the World Cup final. If Bangladeshi players are banned from IPL for supporting then Australia should be banned from IPL instead of banning Bangladesh from IPL because Australia beat India in the final match and Bangladesh only supported Australia. It is normal that every country will have fans of some teams and haters of some teams, if such a ban is imposed on a country because of some haters, how much is it reasonable to have it. For Bangladeshi fans if Bangladeshi players are banned in IPL then BCCI should think about this decision.

Well.. this is quite strange. Is there any reliable source available for this? I can't find anything related to this news in any of the major cricket portals such as ESPN-Cricinfo or Cricbuzz. And the reason being given is laughable. Why should the BCCI ban Bangladeshi players just for supporting Australia? Anyway, there are not many Bangladeshis in IPL. Shakib last played in this league many years ago, and as far as I know only Mustafizur is a regular. Liton Das has a contract with the Kolkata Knight Riders, but I haven't seen him playing a lot of matches in 2023.

The popular cricket based news media may not have aired this news but there are many popular content creators in India who discuss various things about cricket and have confirmed this fact. Even if India bans Bangladesh from the IPL, it will not hurt Bangladesh much as only three players from Bangladesh played in the IPL last season and out of those three, Shakib Al Hasan withdrew towards the end. Liton Das got a chance to play only one match whereas Mustafizur Rahman might have got a chance to play more than one match. I just tried to tell here the reasons they saw behind banning Bangladesh from IPL but I don't think it is any reason. Any person can support any party, everyone has freedom to support.
