Although in a certain way, crime has always existed in all possible ways, and now bitcoin can be used for malicious purposes because of its anonymity, there are few people compared to big criminals who handle everything necessary to obtain good profits from the BTC. Everything is depends, not in all cases would accept this currency for a crime.
Actually criminality already exist since long time ago. But I can not deny that some people also use bitcoin for criminality. They can use bitcoin in black markets for buying drugs or other criminal activities. I even ever heard that some people post video which contain criminality on social media so many people see and share their video and they can get more coin. I wonder why. it depend on us in using bitcoin. It could be two ways, positively and negatively.

I have just watched a facebook video exposing some scam using bitcoin - the guys said that criminals give 10% of all the money they laundered with exchange (possibly private exchange) so if they laundered 10 million dollars worth of bitcoin, the exchange get 1 million worth.
I think the company of bitcoin does not tolerate all criminality or illegal activities which deals using of their product in the market.

Bitcoin has disadvantage in very aspect of it because of the lack of regulation. We cannot blame the system but rather the people who uses it. It is really disappointing to hear news like these as it making the PR bad and lead to many more rumors and "claims" about cryptocurrency.

It's more likely criminals doing money laundering using this blockchain technology as for my understanding that's the outcome.

Crime has always existed, can not be said that bitcoin caused a crime. Of course the anonymity of bitcoin is why criminals use bitcoin, but do not they trade without bitcoin? They will certainly look for other ways. Just as you have killed people with a knife, you are guilty, but the knife has no sin.

in my opinion, it's a natural thing, because the value of bitcoin is very high, therefore criminality occurs in bitcoin, such as hackers who try to hack bitcoin sites and want high income and instantly, so secure your bitcoin account 
n my opinion every think has two sides .one is bad and one is good .its upon you that which side you want to use.bad or good.It is not right.Bitcoin is just a online currency. If anyone used it illegally then it's their fault not bitcoin forum.After all before created bitcoin there were also crime. Yes,nowadays,cyber crime has increased so much but it is not for bitcoin.But they are using bitcoin for save or transfer money.But bitcoin has created for earning money by investing money for man's income.So it's not bitcoin fault. This is a bullshit accused against bitcoin.I will advice the police to catch those criminal but don't accuse the bitcoin. criminality is there before bitcoin.
