Even with or without bitcoins anything illegal is still done with fiat. Fiat has been here for quite a long time and it is still the main medium of exchange for buying illicit stuff from anywhere. Maybe bitcoin has not even replaced 1% of the payments for criminals all over the world.

Precisely, we are not allowed to charge a bitcoin, it does not cause any consequences. It is a victim, it is exploited by criminals, they use bitcoins as a means to carry out their evil deeds. Bitcoin has nothing to do with increase in criminality ratio.
Even if bitcoin exists or not,criminality would exist.
Some criminals may find bitcoin as an easy way to get payment.
But it does not mean that bitcoin promotes criminality.
Just like internet is used both for good and bad,bitcoin is also used for trading,for payment as well as for illegal activities.

The issue of criminality in bitcoin cannot be disputed because criminals will exploit the fact that it cannot be traced and even if possible how much is government willing to expend to make that a possibility the issue of Ransome ware quickly comes to mind. But the issue is that there are still some good in bitcoin. The reason for this is why we see major exchange sites asking for KYCs in which we equally fight against. Let's just hope that the people soiling bitcoin name will not over shadow the good we see in it.

The existence of bitcoin is not dependent on crime. Bitcoin grows up for everyone, criminals are just bitcoin exploiters, they use bitcoin for bad. Bitcoin is also a victim, it's not the cause.

Bitcoin is not made to be used in criminality but if you read my post carefully there is a link between the increase of criminality and the existence of bitcoin. The nature of bitcoin has been the sole reason why many crimes are being done online since the culprits are not afraid of being caught or being find out by the authorities. This day me and my friends were scammed and we can not do something about it since what we have is only the bitcoin address of a website. Bitcoin is good but since it has a value criminals sets their eye on it.

Crime and bitcoin are of course two different things from either activity or function, a crime is an activity that always aims to harm others while bitcoin systems are built as digital currencies that have same functionality as real currency, and if bitcoin is used for activity Criminal by some irresponsible people who seem to have intention to destroy reputation of bitcoin, I think that's not fault of bitcoin because many people use bitcoin for useful activities like trade, investment, mining and as a means of payment transactions

This thing isnt really surprising at all seeing on the potential and features of bitcoin it can really be used up on criminality and sad for that country that citizens of it do have really bad intentions on doing it which means it depends on people on how they gonna use it.Just like on my country i cant say theres no illegal doings underground but i think its just few comparing on those people who use it on legal ways.

That is right, before bitcoin was ever created, fiats are being used for criminal activities, either paying people to kill people, laundering and other stuffs. Money is a way to make a forced path to greatness, when you have money, you have power. We can't do anything about them abusing bitcoin, it is even used in fiats and noone can stop it.

The crime did exist before the bitcoin was made, actually the news only shows how their lack of morale, the number of criminal acts also shows the weakness of security in the country.
