I don't think it would be zero percent. Maybe at least there were still people on your place that is educated and have the information about bitcoins and used them illegally. There is a possibility that they were undetected and being bypass by securities so I can't say it is zero percent as what you said.

Yes there is tendency that some criminals may want to use bitcoin to perpetuate crime mostly money laundering. Even terrorist might launder bitcoin. Well it 's up to INTERPOL to be at alert and monitor virtual currency transfer.

Correctly said it is upto the users of bitcoin to use bitcoin in which way and about talking about criminality of bitcoin then even before bitcoin existed this type of hacking and asking ransom in fiat currency was common so we should not blame bitcoin for this fault but we have to blame the users who have used bitcoin for this illegal activity

Indeed its a double edge sword. As we find bitcoin to be a safe haven say like for investors, criminals also find it a safe haven, exploiting it and used it for criminal intent, like buying drugs online and using it as payment for hacking activity because of its anonymity. Satoshi didn't design bitcoin to be like this, and so don't put all the responsibility or criticism on bitcoin technology.

Having a mindset that Bitcoin is a contributor to the increasing number of crimes throughout the world is a narrow-minded person.

Criminals are just smart enough to see the potential of bitcoin in order to gain and at the same time, cover their tracks. What is the main reason why these criminals do crimes? To earn money, then let us blame money (fiat) for that. What does these criminals (particularly the cybercriminals) use in order to commit crimes? The internet, then let us blame internet for that.

They are blaming Bitcoin for the deeds of criminal which is very illogical and a complete nonsense.

We need to clearly distinguish the boundary between these two issues, it can affect the reputation of bitcoin, it is like an accusation for bitcoin, this is not good, bitcoin completely clean, It is easily exploited by criminals.

Yeah the hell it will become bitcoin's fault.
It is the people who are doing bad sh1t using this currency as a means of payment.
If it cant be stopped then maybe it should be cleared out that bitcoin is also a currency and just like fiat can be a tool for any payment or trade that will happen.

I wouldn't say that Bitcoin itself have increased criminal activities but it made it esaier in some way. Because of the great deal of anonimity Bitcoin is appropriate for paying for illegal goods and services, also for money laundering so many criminals take this advantage. Criminals are also implementing new technologies, we have to be aware of this.

Bitcoin has high security, so a bad guy can easily use it without being detected. So people easily take advantage of it for evil, but it does not increase crime.

That is right, the reason bitcoin wil never be banned even if it is used by a criminal, is because it is a digital currency and it can be used by everyone we can't control anyone who are using these digital currency and who is abusing them. Even if small number of criminal abuse bitcoin, most of it's users are using it for good.
