A lot of people wonder what is the criteria of a good gambler, here are some of my thought about good gambler

a good gambler never chase profit
Profit might be the first reason why people gamble, but a good gambler never attached to the profit, the most important thing in gambling is excitement and fun experience, having profit is just the bonus

a good gambler able to control himself / herself
Self controlling is very important in gambling, without a clear mind there will be a lot of mistakes in betting and even causing reckless betting and losing all of the money in split second

a good gambler know when to stop
Setting a limit is very important in gambling, setting a lost limit will prevent you to over spend your money and setting a win limit is  also important because in the long run the house got a bigger chance to win due to the house edge

a good gambler never cause any problem to the surrounding
A good gambler know that the chances of losing money in gambling is huge, so a gambler should never used daily needs money or borrowing money to gamble, and a gambler should never think of robbery or stealing to gamble

a good gambler can accept lost
When losing a good gambler won't blame the surrounding, cursing or accusing the  casino as fraud places, losing is the half part of gambling, if you can't accept lost then dont start to gamble

a good gambler should able to manage the time
A good gambler know how to split the time for family, for friends and for gambling, a good gambler never neglected family or friend just because of gambling

We must encourage people to become a good gambler, so people won't always have a bad judgement about gambler

I agree, In the end of the day in order to follow these rules to be a good gambler is to have self control
I think in all of gambling rules that everyone tries to follow self control is the most important since it will
affect everything that you will do.

Knowing the worst thing that can happen from uncontrolled gambling is important. But because gambling will involve emotions which of course can change depending on the conditions that occur, losing control is something that can happen easily. So, even though we know what is good to do while gambling, it doesn't mean that we can control our game everytime.

Yes because every gambler has different characteristics but basically is a good control by relying on his experience. Gambling on anything will only spend money and time if you don't have control, so as long as you have good control even though it is a loss, you will not go bankrupt because you still have good control.

Indeed, these are the things a gambler should have to be as good as possible, however, only a few possess those and became successful. Most of the times, gamblers let their emotions take over thus it become stressful at the end and whether you provide advises they won't listen. Being a good gambler should start from the gambler's self because whatever you advise them and they won't listen then it is useless.

Guidelines that should be followed in order to have some good advantage to this venue of activities, good gambler always finds way to
make some decent gained while playing his favorite games, having a good mental control will allow you to always look at the potentials
and think twice before taking your side.

That's a good point but we are all just human and some of the rules that you laid cannot be attained even if you have good control of yourself, but you are right a gambler should have a guideline on what are the characteristics of a good gambler.

I agree, all the listed are very important in terms of gambling and if your a gambler. Especially nowadays gambling is everywhere and anytime you want to gamble so just think of these most important criteria. I think most of gambler will know this first, so that it can easier to manage their selves when they gamble.

Emotion always plays an important part in gambling even if your list is good to follow, sometimes gamblers are having a hard time to control their emotions and break some of the guidelines you have laid down, it takes years of control gambling before a gambler become a good gambler and follow all the advice you've laid out.
