Crypto and Bitcoin began to be known by the rural community
There are several factors that make crypto or Bitcoin known and used by the majority of rural residents.
1. Bitcoin/Crypto is advertised on private TV operating in that country.
2. Bitcoin/Crypto is the main advertisement that appears on YouTube and it is easy to get information from Google and YouTube.
3. Local newspapers often talk about Bitcoin and so on.

-snip-
TV, YouTube channels or other social media platforms and newspapers are the factors that make the majority of people aware of bitcoin and various cryptocurrencies.
These three types of media are what make the majority of people familiar with bitcoin and various cryptocurrencies. I think the media that spreads information the fastest is not TV, but YouTube channels and social media platforms such as Tiktok and Facebook.

Nearly 90% of internet access can be reached in every area, including remote areas.
Of course, this is good progress because slowly people are getting to know bitcoin and can assess the usefulness of bitcoin.

Cryptocurrency with its growth in the short time period have spread all around the world. Even the spreading haven't happened through any sort of promotion or through television advertisement, everything had taken place through word of mouth spreading. In such a situation it had overcome various hurdles and now the acceptance level also increased. Countries that were against the usage of bitcoin were slowly getting into regulated use of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. With time the gradual growth is happening around. In my locality none were aware of it, and many scammers have started to promote self made tokens and make money. I need to give some education and stop people from getting scammed.

Well I think it's not unusual to see crypto recognition and acceptance online since it's easier to spread news and info nowadays, thanks to the internet. I wouldn't be surprised to see my online friends started getting into crypto but seeing things in real life is more unusual and would be more fascinating. Compare to seeing bitcoin adoption online and in real life, you would feel the growth more if you see random people having Bitcoin or crypto merch unexpectedly, or seeing events that involves some crypto projects. In your place op, it seems that Bitcoin is getting more recognition so that's a great news.
Here in my country, I am aware that crypto and bitcoin is growing and more people are getting interested in it. But it's more fascinating seeing people irl who's also interested in Bitcoin like me.

So Bitcoin and Crypto are known to rural communities, perhaps this has happened almost all over the world, including my country, I have also visited one of the remote villages, I once saw in a coffee shop two or three young men opening a local exchange site, but I didn't ask them anything, I just looked.
On the other hand, I feel happy and proud to see this, in my mind I think Bitcoin is not only used by city people, remote villages also know it well, so what OP sees is not much different from what I see about Bitcoin /Crypto, rural alreadyknow well.

What's more, today is the age of technology and the internet, everything is easily accessible, plus the internet signal shows full strength in rural areas and on high connecting tower facilities.

But there is something worrying about those people, because they are quite simple farmers, their knowledge is not as complete as people in urban areas or other developed areas. Therefore, it is inevitable that they will be easily enticed to participate in fraudulent projects labeled bitcoin. In my country, many such cases happened, and then most of the elders as well as farmers had a negative view of bitcoin. The growing popularity of Bitcoin is a good thing, but with the spread but lack of education, knowledge becomes a concern rather than a positive.

I rarely go out of the house when there is nothing important for me to do, but in the past week I was idly out of the house just to watch a football game which is very close to where I live. Then I started to be surprised when I read that there was a sponsor that said Crypto and there was someone wearing a shirt that said Bitcoin. This actually made me very amazed besides I was a little surprised because what I know around where I live no one knows about Crypto and Bitcoin.
It's possible that the assumptions you have about the people around you could be wrong. Because as we know, people who own bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies tend to be anonymous and keep their ownership of these assets (bitcoin & crypto) secret. So you might think that the people around you don't know about Bitcoin or cryptocurrency, even though it could be that many of them already know about it but it's kept secret by each of them. And maybe because of that, there are people in your area who wear clothes and sponsors that say bitcoin/crypto at football matches.

~Snip
But I'm actually very happy when I know this now because I'm trying to conclude that Crypto and Bitcoin have started to be liked by some people around me even though I don't know who they are, but this makes me happy to see it and also makes me even more excited to continue learning Crypto and Bitcoin and trying to tell everyone that Crypto and Bitcoin are good things to know and learn.
As a cryptocurrency investor, especially bitcoin. We will definitely be very happy to see the people around us when someone joins or invests in bitcoin/crypto. Because at least we have friends to share about bitcoin or crypto investment. Apart from that, bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are currently experiencing very high growth in interest from year to year. So it is not surprising that in remote or rural areas people are starting to get to know bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Intentionally or not, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin continue to spread to many people in various countries. So basically bitcoin/crypto is spreading throughout the world because it is a very good and potential investment asset or means of payment, especially bitcoin.

How is the condition of Crypto and Bitcoin in your area guys?
I'm not sure of the details, but my guess is there is progress in terms of bitcoin and cryptocurrency users in the city where I live. Because I see data on the increase in the number of cryptocurrency users in my country.

Quote
Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan revealed that the crypto asset market in Indonesia is increasing. Based on Bappebti data, at the end of 2021 the number of crypto asset customers or users was recorded at 11.2 million people. This figure has increased by 48.7 percent compared to the end of November 2022 when there were 16.55 million people.

I know young people are quick to accept new things. Before I thought that people around me hadn't heard of cryptocurrencies. I have never talked about cryptocurrency with people around me. But by chance I overheard them talking about cryptocurrencies and making money through cryptocurrencies. I feel incredible. Because the other party is very old, I thought they were not interested in these.

That's true, I often visit several areas and even banners that are quite large I've seen about Ghazali who are viral and successful because their NFTs are sold on the NFT market.HERE
indeed cryptocurrencies including bitcoin are new, spread and known. good interest makes in my country every time there are new people who know and are interested. the emergence of local exchanges and events with local wisdom makes crypto easy to recognize on the pretext of referrals for get sponsorship.
and it is possible that banking services will collaborate with bitcoin to reach rural areas. there is internet there there is a chance for bitcoin to grow wherever it is

Bitcoin not only belongs to people in urban areas who are very modern with all their technology, but Bitcoin belongs to everyone even those who are far from urban living in rural areas like the example the OP shows,
so Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies now don't only belong to certain people, and this will be good for the future of Bitcoin, cryptocurrency and of course Blockchain technology

Looking for gigs
I have yet to print a new Bitcoin shirt since my old one is already too big for me to wear because I have lost a lot of weight. Now I am wearing medium to large sized shirts instead of XL or double XL in average. Maybe this week I’ll print one, probably a black dri-fit shirt with the Bitcoin logo.

It’s good to see someone advocating Bitcoin by just simply wearing that shirt in such non-crypto events. Keep it coming!

Brotherhood is love
Thanks to my work, I have a lot of interaction with people on farms, and in rural areas, but what is most difficult for them is internet services, there are farms where there is no electricity, they do not have transformers, for those people It is very difficult to work, nor does he have a computer.

There is no way bitcoin will be successfully introduced to people that doesn't have internet access. It won't work. Bitcoin is something that is done with internet and it is not a theory thing. Wherever there is internet and the people use smart phones there is no how they will not hear or read about Bitcoin. So internet is the greatest medium to knowing about Bitcoin.
My fear for new people knowing about Bitcoin is that they may come in with the get rich quick mindset which doesn't work but it is difficult for btc to do x10 again.

I cannot deny when I talk about bitcoin, they do not express their opinion because it is something new and they do not know, sometimes it is difficult because they do not know or interact with computers, only children and young people who go to high school to study, they if they handle more things about technology and because some of them have smartphones, through them it is easier.

I agree that people are a lot more aware about crypto currencies and especially Bitcoin due to the popularity it gained through the internet. But I am not sure if they actually know well about its functionality and the crypto market in general. Still, it is good to see that Bitcoin is becoming a familiar word even in rural or semi-urban areas.

Bitcoin have been spreading rapidly in every part of the world both the rural areas and the urban areas, don't be suprise when you see people talking about bitcoin even when you don't think they will know about bitcoin, I stay in urban area am I think I really love the way people are talking about bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general most especially the youths.

First, the picture you showed does not look rural to me, nonetheless,
You are funny, what do you mean it those not look rural? Is it because they are having football pitch or what's your reason? From the look that's not a standard football pitch and if you are not from the same country you can't conclude. You can't compare the rural area in Nigeria with another country their will definitely be difference.

Winding down.
Just because you saw a guy with a Bitcoin shirt doesn't mean that Bitcoin is getting popular in your local community.
I have the feeling that Crypto/Bitcoin is getting more popular in the underdeveloped countries, rather than the developed countries.
Probably because the fiat currencies of those underdeveloped countries are weak and cannot be easily converted into a global fiat currency like USD. There's nothing wrong for crypto to gain adoption inside rural communities. The problem is that many crypto scams are the first thing that is getting spread among people, who don't have enough knowledge about blockchain technology and the crypto industry in general.
This might create a negative experience, which might scare away many people from Bitcoin.
That’s certainly a fact as even in my own city where I lived, lots of negative thoughts about bitcoin are more spread than what it can be beneficial to the people. So how much more in rural areas where the people are less modernized so they easily believe on what is the news trend as they thought it’s already facts. The reason why complete adoption for bitcoin is so hard to achieved.

Recently, i visited my village. I saw young diploma holders have not really joined any jobs. They have taken 2 ventures, firstly they have taken up scientific organic farming and secondly they have invested in Bitcoin. These days a lot of young lot is getting into Bitcoin. This in a way is a big thing for us.
It indicates that Investing or trading in Bitcoin/Altcoins is starting to be accepted by our society very well. Sure, it should begin with educated people or people who are familiar with the internet first since they have the highest chance to know Bitcoin/Altcoins. Those young diploma holders are just the example of educated people who know Bitcoin. And it becomes more interesting when they focus on independent business and invest/trade Bitcoin. This means they know well how to gain money from Bitcoin and from that independent business as well. If more young diploma holders do these, it will minimize the number of jobless people.

I am happy to know that more people become more creative and have great ideas for utilizing Bitcoin besides developing their business in real life.  Smiley

Just because you saw a guy with a Bitcoin shirt doesn't mean that Bitcoin is getting popular in your local community.
I have the feeling that Crypto/Bitcoin is getting more popular in the underdeveloped countries, rather than the developed countries.
Maybe you need to zoom the image, mate.
Or look at this quote:
I am also very surprised when seeing a sponshorship with Crypto.

It is not only about a person wearing the t-shirt but also the banner with Crypto that is considered as one of the sponsors of the match.
So, I am sure that crypto may be popular in the area. Or even it is not popular yet, with the banner, many more people will know about crypto and may be be curious about crypto.

It's quite strange if it's banned, but there's still an exchange market. By rule Indonesia already has a regulatory body and they have declared that crypto is legal as a commodity asset. So there is indeed still a debate on the issue of crypto. What is prohibited is as a medium of exchange for buying and selling. Because the legal currency there is rupiah.
For Indonesia, I am also from Indonesia and live in a village. I also have a T-shirt that says Bitcoin. But indeed I rarely wear it. It seems that quite a lot of indonesians already understand but they don't really show that. My friend is just one area trading and he doesn't really show himself to others.
Indeed, crypto in Indonesia is legal as a commodity asset but still illegal as a currency. But there is still debate about whether it is "haram" or not. That is why many of us that work in the crypto industry will commonly not tell people around us directly or clearly. I am also in this situation, people in my area may not know that I am working in the crypto industry and I also don't know if there are other people who are the same or not with me in my area. This is because of the different opinions about crypto here and still so many people having debates about this. So, it is better to avoid any debate.
But sometimes, I feel smiley and happy when going somewhere and finding other people in several times holding their phones and watching them with crypto exchanges and graphs. This means that actually, crypto has been very popular among us, but most of us will not show it clearly to the public.  Grin

Honestly rural was not the part of the problem against adoption to begin with, rural is taking even more advantage of crypto right now because they do not have as much possibility of making money as someone who lives in a big city with millions of other people.

It meant that you would end up with a good profit if you were in a rural place and worked hard in the crypto world and you would become one of the richest in that place, instead of being unemployed or just a farmer. This of course is not an easy step to take, you should be working hard towards understanding crypto and not having anyone to talk to in person means you have to do it all online to learn.
