Well, I don't wish to guess where all of you are coming from, but here where I live in Serbia Schools are one big shit show! If you don't learn something on a side, if you don't pay for private lessons, you will probably get a degree but with 0 knowledge! And that's not a big problem, with connections you can get a job, and you can even advance to higher levels! Of course, if you are in a political party that is in power or you have someone on your side! In case you know what you are doing you will probably hit the sails and move to some other country in the west that respect a man that knows his job!

And we come to a simple conclusion, why would schools adopt learning about crypto and freedom?! A free man can't be a slave...

Looking at the current development of crypto, what you said will definitely happen for the masses to come, currently some countries have used digital currencies as legal tender, so this must be learned by ordinary people so that they can use cryptocurrencies in buying daily necessities, then in the future cryptocurrencies will definitely be included in the school curriculum because this is already needed by the entire community, but all of this requires a process and must keep up with the times.

introducing cryptocurrency in the world of education is an important thing in my opinion. because in the digital era like today, of course, all the needs of people's lives will gradually follow technological developments. like cryptocurrency in my opinion is part of today's digital technology.

Right, it is time for everyone to know Cryptocurrencies so that they can train many people to invest and increase income, if not taught at school, the younger generation will be late and of course easily fooled because investing in the scam project.

Winding down.

but the problem is that I still see that the teaching staff in schools today are not all literate with current technological advances. even the teachers in schools who use crypto I think there are still few. so it is not yet possible for those teachers in schools to teach about cryptocurrencies. but maybe the next generation of teachers, namely generation Z, so I think discussing crypto at school will make sense to be included in school lessons. because the next generation of teachers must be more than those who are familiar with crypto and have even entered it. so it's a matter of time.
Perhaps, they can learn over time as well. And if the time will come that crypto is pushed through to teach in school, I believe they have also hired someone capable enough to teach students. It is only hard at the start but once there is continued learning and research, and teachers look at the market in a positive way, it becomes easy for them to understand. I think it needs constant training, it can't be done in one day, not even in 1 week. So, it was their responsibility how to do it in order to become effective.
I guess even pros and experts in cryptocurrency do not know everything about it so there’s always a consistent training so that learning will always grow and improve. Just like most of the teachers, they are like  newbies to cryptocurrency but with continuous trainings and seminars conducted by school heads, these teachers will end up highly knowledgeable about cryptocurrency. And with crypto experiences too comes an effective way of learning which they can also successfully impart their first hand information to their students.

Giving Cryptocurency subjects as a school curriculum, maybe we should divide it into several school levels. For example, if we want to provide this cryptocurrency curriculum to elementary schools (SD) and junior high schools (SMP) it may not provide so many benefits for these students, why is that? because, students at this level (SD and SMP) may still be under the age of 17 years and we all know that the world of cryptocurrencies is a world of digital investment and trading that has high risks.

maybe we can incorporate the cryptocurency curriculum into the high school level (SMA) or into the college (university) and even then, I think entering the cryptocurency curriculum requires in-depth study from various related parties such as teachers, parents, and educational institutions in the area.

as a first step in entering the cryptocurency curriculum into schools, maybe it would be wiser for us to include it in extracurricular subjects first and not include it in the main subjects so that after students understand well about the world of cryptocurrencies with all these high levels of risk, it is not impossible for cryptocurency subjects can be entered as a subject matter in schools around the world.

Even though adoption is continuously growing, I don't like the idea of crypto being discussed into schools. It's not necessary to go that far if your only purpose to integrate it is just to spread awareness. Internet is already enough source to learn about the fundamentals of cryptocurrencies. Cryptos are also very volatile so it should not be discussed hastily on students that don't have any idea yet about investing or entrepreneurship.
Trying to spread the awareness of altcoins at school would be a bad idea, however teaching people the history of money through the ages and how this eventually lead to the development of bitcoin is not a bad idea as in my opinion this should be general knowledge everyone should have, however this is not going to happen as it is not on the best interests of governments to do something like this, as this could open the eyes of many people and they could realize how much of a scam the fiat system really is.

After reading so many theories, Analysis and the powers of crypto currency in a nation's economy, the greater impact it will bring to developed and fast developing countries. I began to wonder why is crypto currency not accepted in some area's and organization of the world, can we characterized this as lack of information, and awareness to the people. If this be the case, Can we find a way to adopted Crypto Currency as a Subject and integrate it into our school curriculum, or better still as topic and integrate it into Economy's. This has been on my mind, And I honestly need your contribution and your thoughts towards this. I honestly think crypto currency, BTC and ETH for example. Should be adopted globally and accepted by everyone. Thanks

Cryptocurrencies, like stocks or forex, are considered a risky and highly profitable investment, so they are not suitable for inclusion in an educational curriculum. The introduction of investing too early in the school will cause students to lose focus in their studies and instead make money with their investments. It should be introduced but in a different place and at the right time.

Currently, cryptocurrency is still controversial for its legitimacy as well as numerous scams going on in the market. Therefore, it is not appropriate to introduce cryptocurrencies into schools at this time.

Let us say that teaching crypto in school is a good idea but of course, we consider the ages of the students to teach as this seems more difficult and techy than other subjects. Teaching this in very young minds is inappropriate in a situation where it was hard to absurd it in their minds. Some companies are are also conducting trainings and seminars that discuss crypto and it was also an alternative way of learning and I think it was been more effective as these people are known willing to learn, unlike in school - some students might hard to understand.

Currency may appear to be a simple and difficult subject to understand for students, but it is in fact, if you look at it in the context of BTC, ETH and other Cryptocurrencies.

Yeah which is why I think general money management, domestic economics, simple things like how not to put yourself into early debt by spending below your means. That's what's much more important than getting kids to understand how currency works... cryptocurrency should certainly form modern curriculum, only as the latest form of money, and to understand that there are alternative concepts of money, that's all.

Otherwise you're just getting people buying BTC for FOMO and hoping to get rish quick. We all know how badly that ends.

Very possible.

Perhaps later many people in the crypto market will agree that introducing cryptocurrencies into school curricula is a positive step. If both teachers and students are exposed to the benefits of cryptocurrencies early, it could lead to more investors and better decision making in the future.

In addition, if more people can see realistic investment returns from a young age, this also has the potential for a more stable financial future for the younger generation.

Currency may appear to be a simple and difficult subject to understand for students, but it is in fact, if you look at it in the context of BTC, ETH and other Cryptocurrencies.

All the great life lessons that are taught through experience especially when we are young, I think it will be very valuable to apply these concepts to the school curriculum especially the economics section.

Why introducing crytocurrency won't be a bad idea it will help beginners to get better understanding and why they should invest cryptocurrency. Most beginners think they need to invest cryptocurrency to become rich. But if schools starts adopting cryptocurrency into curriculum it will decrease the rate at which people think cryptocurrency is to make rich, it will help desperate beginners to know what they are supposed to understand first.

Cryptocurrency is not for everyone, we cannot force those children to adopt, the best option is to provide financial awareness and financial literacy by this we give them freedom to choose and help them build a great foundation for them so when they start to earn their own money, they know how to handle it and they know where to put it.

Beside, cryptocurrency is still not legal in many countries and regulations is not intact to at least protect those young mind from any misinformation or fake news. Cryptocurrency can be learn easily online, I'm confident they will cross this market when the time is right. So having this in a curriculum should not be the priority of the government.
And even if someone likes it, they still can't do anything but obey their government to not deal with it. This is why it's almost impossible for crypto be used by everyone or be called as a global currency the way the op wanted to happen.

On most countries, cryptos are allowed but the only problem is there are people who don't have an interest towards it. They still find fiat superior than crypto but the op is right that it has to deal with knowledge or information. Maybe those people simply lack of it? Which is why the op is suggesting a crypto education. I honestly love the idea of it and I think there are now schools who started implementing it.

I think it will gradually or over time it will happen. Because now Cryptocurrencies are increasingly known among the public and in almost all areas that are reached by the internet, there will definitely be a number of people who are already familiar with Crypto. even though those who know crypto are certainly not evenly distributed. but over time, knowledge about crypto will definitely be considered important and needed because the digital era will require people to learn it. because it will be one of the sciences needed in the face of an increasingly advanced digital era.
I disagree, we have been living in a fiat world for centuries, does that mean we are seeing fiat related classes and what not in school? Of course not, which is why I do not think that we will see crypto classes neither. However, we do not need classes.

Because, I believe the new generation could learn whatever they want from online places, there are udemy type of class and lesson based websites and youtube, which means if you have any questions then there will be someone who will explain to you what it is. I believe that as long as you are capable of doing that, there is no need for schools to teach you anything, you can learn what you want all by yourself.

I think I have seen the questions multiple times on different boards, the idea of crypto being taught as an academic curriculum would be hard because economy wise, there have been different views from different people and from most of their conclusions, it will be very difficult to implement in schools but I know few schools where cryptography are been taught and recognized, in fact, the building blocks of bitcoin are been taught because they are technicalities that are been used in other technologies but the idea to teach crypto itself in school will be hard to implement especially with all these scandals that are challenging in crypto space, nobody wants to expose their children to high-risk investment without proper protections.

The right idea to introduce cryptocurrencies at school, has become a worrying thing because now many people are affected by a scam project, even according to many fraud reports from cryptocurrencies are currently in second place, if introduced at school will certainly make people avoid the scam project.

Scam projects are projects that are intentionally created by irresponsible people and their goal is only to want other people's money to come through the project. Okay, despite all that I think the Scam project can still be avoided by everyone even though it can't be eradicated at the root.

But in terms of schools, it only has to be explained in theory because the most important thing is how to build a new cryptocurrency-based project so that every student can better understand how the pattern of cryptocurrency has been going so far.

If only finance and money management was a subject in school then every other person would be handling their expenses well.
But the truth is school does not make us learn how to grow money or how to become rich they are more inclined on to make us learn how to do a job.
The education is designed to turn an individual into an employee and not an entrepreneur.
This is the reason why schools don't have such subjects where they teach us about managing money, investing, earning, saving etc...

Certainly unnecessary or do not be taught when elementary school, cryptocurrencies deserves to be included in economic lessons, namely the top school, of course, by knowing cryptocurrencies, students can have a picture to increase income or practice investment since school.
