I think it will gradually or over time it will happen. Because now Cryptocurrencies are increasingly known among the public and in almost all areas that are reached by the internet, there will definitely be a number of people who are already familiar with Crypto. even though those who know crypto are certainly not evenly distributed. but over time, knowledge about crypto will definitely be considered important and needed because the digital era will require people to learn it. because it will be one of the sciences needed in the face of an increasingly advanced digital era.

but I don't think there will be a special curriculum on crypto but more of an insertion sub module. maybe in economics majors there will definitely be discussions regarding crypto investment in the future and in schools majoring in information and communication there will be discussions about this too.

but the problem is that I still see that the teaching staff in schools today are not all literate with current technological advances. even the teachers in schools who use crypto I think there are still few. so it is not yet possible for those teachers in schools to teach about cryptocurrencies. but maybe the next generation of teachers, namely generation Z, so I think discussing crypto at school will make sense to be included in school lessons. because the next generation of teachers must be more than those who are familiar with crypto and have even entered it. so it's a matter of time.

Proper financial management is the first thing that should be taught in school instead of cryptocurrency. Young people should know how to handle finances and learn how to allocate enough funds and savings for investment. An introduction to cryptocurrency is enough so they would know if they're interested in it. It's hard to teach it at school if not everyone has an interest in cryptocurrency. It can be optional for them but not compulsory.
That would be more practical but it is not going to happen either, right now the capitalism which is being practiced in many countries is predatory in its nature, a clear example of this is the housing crisis of the US which caused the economic crisis of 2008, loans were given to people which banks knew very well they will never be able to pay their debts. But since this increased revenue they did not cared, and the people did not cared either as in their minds this was free money and the possibility of getting a house which they did not had before, and we know how that ended, so governments will probably never do something like that as they prefer their citizens to be ignorant of the truth.

Part of the curriculum might be too much. Discussions about cryptocurrency can include those subjects related to Economics and Finance. There's no need to label it up the same with those subjects that should be really part of the school's curriculum.

Anyways, here in our country, it was being pushed this year by our main central bank that the discussion of crypto should be included in teaching.

I'm not sure though what's the current status of this or if it's already commenced.
My though about this one is cryptocurrency will only be included in the school curriculum once the government will adopt it and imposed it in all schools to be part of the school curriculum. Otherwise, we will only stick to Finance as it’s already been teaching in schools particularly for those courses related to money management, or banking management and finance.
That seems to be the case because we have to see also whether the government allows cryptocurrencies to be adopted or not,
because if not it looks like the government will not include it in the school curriculum,
but regardless of what it is actually cryptocurrency is very interesting to learn

I think if we make crypto as a subject in school then don't focus on a crypto, Bitcoin, Ethereum or other. All we have to do is introduce crypto, and develop new crypto. Because there are many codes listed in a crypto, both in terms of the code to generate crypto and the blockchain transaction system. How a blockchain can record so many transactions in a very short time, never even crash.
Indeed, it would not be wrong if the school focused on creating new cryptocurrencies in schools, but in the end it must also be accompanied by an example that has been successful in the crypto space, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum or others. Because creating a new cryptocurrency with a different concept is a very difficult thing and it will not always be successful if there is little support and no examples as a starting point.

This is something important that we must teach students. Crypto investment is an easy thing, I think we don't need to teach this too fast to the younger generation. This makes them forget something more important when it comes to knowing how to make money in the media.
What has to be seen here is about the size of the younger generation as you said, because if the younger generation is over twenty years old, I think it would not be wrong to learn about crypto or anything related to crypto. Because at that age it is time for the younger generation to be creative and make new things that are more beneficial to themselves and all those around them. Not to mention if there are young people whose souls prefer to do business through the media, this will certainly be very good to be raised because the enthusiasm of young people is usually much greater when they want to start something to become big.

For countries that already have good internet access, it is certainly very easy to apply the addition of the Cryptocurrencies curriculum, because cryptocurrencies are lessons that are directly related to the internet, so without the internet and only relying on theory is very difficult to learn.
It's very obvious, and it's very clear to the blinds and audible, so since many people has known, so therefore i want you to understand that cryptocurrency has gotten to the crass Root, for any government of a country have to embrace the systematic way of depriving it's life. Learning of cryptocurrency in university, you have to think about caring.
I believe that there are enough nations that can teach it, hell even on paper because theory would be good enough to start, but we do not even teach kids about money, let alone teach about cryptocurrency, we are asking for a lot more. Just a simple idea of how loans are taken to buy a house is the simplest economy related subject and no person knows about it from school, they learn about it in life.

I have seen people who bought 10+ houses when he figured out how he can trick banks on giving him loan when he has assets, and I have seen people with money having hard time buying a house. That is the trouble, I do not think that we could really change the school curriculum that easily.

And I honestly need your contribution and your thoughts towards this. I honestly think crypto currency, BTC and ETH for example. Should be adopted globally and accepted by everyone. Thanks

I think it's better to integrate the whole blockchain idea and not just focus on crypto-currency.

I don't see a reasonable reason why crypto-currencies alone should be part of the curriculum. With blockchain as the main subject, it will now also covers the cryptocurrency stuff and other related things.

Learning BTC, Learn ETH, Learn, etc., etc.  - these don't need their own subject.

If this be the case, Can we find a way to adopted Crypto Currency as a Subject and integrate it into our school curriculum, or better still as topic and integrate it into Economy's.

Yes, it can be integrated into the Economy Subject as you mentioned. Much better to put it that way.

Can we find a way to make it possible? Actually, expect a country that will consider doing that once the community there is now being more vocal in crypto.

I also believe that the inclusion of cryptocurrencies as a separate subject in the school curriculum is not yet an urgent need. With all my interest and respect for this topic, it is still worth knowing that it is too early to say that cryptocurrencies occupy such an important position in the global economy and finance that it should be given priority in the process of school education. Yes, there is some progressive movement in the spread of cryptocurrencies in the economy and finance, there are some successes in the recognition by the state, but there is still a lot of work to be done in this direction and a long work will have to be done in this direction. On the other hand, this does not negate the fact that familiarization with this topic can be carried out within the framework of other academic subjects related to finance and investment.

Why should it? Finance (and probably investing in general?) is a far better and far more important subject. Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are just a subsection of the broader topic that is investing.
I have to agree on you. Finance is already a broad topic that talks about money matters and it’s management. And since cryptocurrency has something to do with money, then most likely it will be tackle too when students are taught about finance. Also, if you take courses about banking and finance, that’s when the time that you have to go deeper on that certain topic and for certain, cryptocurrency too will also be widely taught.

Yes, Finance has already been included in the school curriculum for long, but to be honest, having cryptocurrency to be included in the school curriculum will give opportunity to the students to develop certain knowledge and skills when it comes to crypto investing, trading, and by means of using it as a currency in the future. With that, they will gain more knowledge on how to save and invest, and to grow their money and become financially independent in the future.
There are universities which is already doing that.

Dont know on what part they are really putting some emphasis whether on bitcoin or into some altcoins.
Important thing that its already been recognized.

I disagree on teaching little kids what crypto is, that’s just way too much, we could definitely put it on economics related college classes to teach a lot more about it, there is a good understanding of it, and even computer science majors as well because there is a development related part of it as well and both of them are understandable. But that doesn't change the fact that we can't really end up with anything that would be ok for kids under 17 or younger end up learning from, and I doubt it would really work that well.

This is why it’s a lot better if we just decided not to focus on anything that would be older teenagers, even "teen adults" basically for people who are 20 years old and what not.

actually, there are colleges or universities that are already integrating the cryptocurrency and blockchain technology courses within their curriculum. there has been a thread here in this forum listing the schools offering crypto related courses. so this is not news anymore but some have long been teaching related courses for quite some time already. besides, a lot of crypto users are self taught owed to the fact that we can basically read and search anything these days over the net. just know where to get valid facts.
I've also read several threads about this and indeed this has been enforced in several places but of course this applies only to some crypto-friendly places because this is still difficult to happen for some countries that are not very Crypto-friendly.

Things like this are indeed something that is quite good but indeed it is not easy to turn the palm of the hand because until now even though many people or communities have introduced crypo but still we can't deny that this kind of thing is still difficult to happen.

I don't think cryptocurrency needs to be integrated into the school curriculum. Because today's school children are already addicted to various social media and are moving away from studies. And if they get addicted to cryptocurrency, many kids will be wasted. Because money can be earned from here, children will earn some money and become reckless. Not all will be like this but some will be.
Cryptocurrency is still banned in many countries around the world. Rather, we can think about how to make it accessible to everyone.

The way how the modern tech evolve in terms of modern financial system and at the moment its booming more then its really good for government who's crypto friendly to integrate a somehow education about crypto. Because from this at early stage they will know about how they can take advantage to gain from this as well how they can spot harmful like scams and other dangers  which they might face in future. Its better to teach those young people early rather than wrong people teach them about it.
We know that government does really play a big role on something like this on which neither its been prohibited or just neutral. If its allowed then it would really be depending
on the school or institution if  they would really be allowing it for it to be included on the curriculum but its true that on this era where everything do involved mostly on digital
then it is just right that new generations should really know on what are the things that we do have today and on how it do works.
There are already universities which does have blockchain courses and its increasing on numbers.

After reading so many theories, Analysis and the powers of crypto currency in a nation's economy, the greater impact it will bring to developed and fast developing countries. I began to wonder why is crypto currency not accepted in some area's and organization of the world, can we characterized this as lack of information, and awareness to the people. If the mindset of every country's government is like that of El Salvador, the process might not be too difficult. But we have quite different regulations, a country does not want its finances to go in and out without confirmation from the financial authorities. It's a good idea to incorporate digital investing teaching into the sub-curriculum. Just referring to cryptocurrencies is not enough. Many investment vehicles and other crypto categories fall under the digital investment section. This is often a topic that has been discussed, but in the end, it is limited by state policy. If we do not have the power to control it all will be difficult to implement.

Cryptocurrency is not for everyone, we cannot force those children to adopt, the best option is to provide financial awareness and financial literacy by this we give them freedom to choose and help them build a great foundation for them so when they start to earn their own money, they know how to handle it and they know where to put it.

Beside, cryptocurrency is still not legal in many countries and regulations is not intact to at least protect those young mind from any misinformation or fake news. Cryptocurrency can be learn easily online, I'm confident they will cross this market when the time is right. So having this in a curriculum should not be the priority of the government.

Yes, well, personal finance I would say. But that does not interest the public authorities. They are interested in people who are financially uneducated, who spend a lot, who get into debt and are always in debt. They want them to be financially dependent on the system.

But that's not going to happen in most of the world, because educating people about money is considered fascist.

Educating about Bitcoin within that curriculum would be ideal, but, again, this is not in their interest. They are not going to promote a currency that attacks their power.

This is something which could happen at the margins but I do not think it is ever going to become mainstream, governments do not even teach their citizens how their fiat currencies work so it makes no sense to me they could implement this on the curriculum of all schools on their country, especially when governments want the opposite and would prefer that people do not understand too deeply the concept behind cryptocurrencies so they can deceive them later with their CBDCs.
