A long procession of uniformed servants is paying homage to the Wizard Developer and bringing gifts to the Wizard Castle (after making a tour around the Central Square for a little bit of healthy self-promotion and publicity):
HE The Prince of Soul gives 500 CKG and 500 CKS, wondering the magnanimity of HE The Prince of OZ (who gave 2000 of both).
Let us see what the other Princes think! In addition, the Prince gives the lot 3-NW-E5 (2q) directly opposite the Portal entrance over the Prince of Soul Park in the south-facing townhouse area. "So that the Wizard would have more choice on where to build!"
Also 1*ETS6 Silver Signet Ring from the TIE era, which the Prince gifts to all the people he has met personally. This happened already the third day after the Wizard had arrived to the Royal Palace of Malla.
and, due to the magnanimousness of the above, also:
The Most Ancient and Worshipful Corporation of the Town Hall is giving 1*TS145 silver coin, from the lot of 14 such coins that were received from the initial foreign visitors to the newly-built Town Hall in 1454.
Also 1*TH1500E and 1*TH1600E collector coins p.o.
The Jungherr Paul throws in 15 mil in cash.
The Marquess of Tavastia is aiming hard to please the King after the past issues, and raise to the Princely rank as Ramsey also did recently. Sadly, all Marquesses are very tough players so for a sockpuppet it is difficult to advance. Finally he finds something unique enough...
The gift of: "ART-G" A level 7 Ancient Work of Art depicting a company of ladies under a tree. Purchased or commissioned by the late Marquess of Arda in 1572, is now gifted to its third owner, the Wizard.
Sir Heimo, the Earl of Sarajas, gives a CR1508E, which is the rarest of the CR coins in existence with only 12 known. Those seeking to collect a full set of 100+ gold CR coins, (none are known to exist), this is an invaluable specimen.
Dr. SS gives cold, hard cash (10 mil)
Dr. HS-S gives cold, hard cash (20 mil)
nikke1 gives 2*NI1600E collector's coin. "You can divest the other one once they have gained value. Only 50 are made."
Zenon the Sorcerer, the Very Ancient Magus gives knowledge worth more than anything, and access to his library of papyri, older than any other items in existence in the game.
All gifts received as part of this 1600 Bicentennial Wizard Developer Gifting Round are treated as follows:
- 50% of the value of the gifts is a net bonus to the Developer, a token of gratitude, a thanks of good work
- 50% goes to the Wizard, but is counted towards the Town liability to pay the Wizard, reducing the liability.
So, by gifting, you give both to the Wizard directly, and also help the Town and the game!!The Bicentennial Celebration of His Majesty ReignMany thought that this would never come... but here it is!
In
1400 when His Majesty reign started, the Kingdom consisted of 2 characters only. There was no special badge given to the 2 because of this, but they have received plenty of honor and benefits for being the first 2 characters.
In
1450, the construction of the Town had recently started, and 2 chapelries, 1-C and 1-N, were open for building. The Throne Room was the largest semi-public meeting space, because the Town Hall or anything subsequent had not yet been constructed. We held a celebration of Golden Jubilee there, with a badge, GJB, given to the 14 online participants. All 32 characters in the game got a gold ring, GAGR, as well.
In
1500, we had the centenary celebration in strange feelings, ready to move to the Online era, which did not materialize then. Festivities were conducted in the King's Park, Central Square, Jousting ground and other merry spaces. According to some records, 36 player non-corporates were present. All such got a HM1500J gold coin, which is now for sale premium only for about 6 mil (so total price about 14 mil).
In
1550, was the transition to Pocket Economy era, which is also called Cultural era. It was celebrated between 48 player non-corporates but it is unsure if they got any gifts (
). The names are known so something will be given post the event if actually so shamefully happened that nothing was given at the event.
Now is
1600, and our count of characters is 135, and it is the time to celebrate. We, the Royal Majesty, want to make the celebration between the seasoned veterans and close friends only, and there is also this thing that the Royal buildings are windowless with the exception of the Chapel in the West Wing and the Throne Room (combined area about 168 sqm). Throne Room lux% is returned to 300% so this will serve also as the rededication of the Throne Room after the Earthquake.
We, the Blessed, the Most Cultured
rpietila I, Dei Gratia the Most Ancient King of Crypto Kingdom, the Duke of the Very Ancient Duchy, the Earl in more lands that can be mentioned, the Founder and Mayor of the Most Ancient Town of CryptoTown, the Friend of Barbarians, the First Architect, the Professor of Economics, the Father of Two, the CEO of the Hypothecary Bank in CryptoTown and of NewCorp, AOK-GM, AOD-Gen, MG-2, GJB, FBB, TB, CB, KFB, HB, the largest owner of gold, silver, stone, urban land, rural land, etc., etc. etc.
To My Loving People, the nobles and townspeople, alike to each and every one,
Greetings. Our righteous rule has now lasted for 2 centuries and we have a grand celebration in the Royal Park and Premises, including the Throne Room, just as we had when we last time celebrated the coming of the online version 100 years ago!
Everyone is invited to the celebration, which will give the following advantages:
- Throneroom Badge TB to all the characters not yet having it. (It is extremely difficult to get, only a few per century have been given.)
- 1* G15F15 Royal Wine Cup with engraving "The Centenary of the Kingdom" and the Royal Throne of arms, 100 years old and weighs 200 CKG, p.o. (only 30 first will get this item and note - as it is premium only, you will have to own 200 CKG to accommodate it). We will make new wine cups and these ones will become very precious historical items, having been used in the Royal Table ever since A.D. 1500!
- Participation in The Bicentenary Raffle, with historical things from the past two centuries as prizes!
From you, we request:
- Announce your willingness publicly in the thread.
- Give some gifts to the Wizard Developer, according to your fortune! It is not possible for me to thank him well enough or give 10,000s of CKG as I have done with the other team whom we waited to deliver 100 years ago. If the gifts come from a wider source, may them be regarded as more generous
- This must happen in one week, which is the date of the celebration.
