Today, on 1528, Lord Paulson Esq. Announces the creation of his first corporation, named Athena Building Company (ticker: ABC).

From the Codex Wikipedicus (A copy can be found in the Royal Library and on Metropolis Bookstore at (1-K8 ):

Athena (/əˈθiːnə/ or Athene)  was the goddess of wisdom, courage, inspiration, civilization, law and justice, strategic warfare, mathematics, strength, strategy, the arts, crafts, and skill in ancient Greek religion and mythology.

We thought that no better name can be chosen to portrait the features that we want to pursue in this game.

ABC will be mostly a retail corporation, focusing on land development and monetizing the usage of it. At this stage, Lord Paulson is just too busy to start a wealth management service for external players. However, those who chooses to participate on this first incorporation will have privileged announcements of his future developments.

ABC will start with two projects, one already working and another in progress.

The Village Hotel .- A well known 4 quadrats midclass hotel placed facing the Village Hotel (1-V13,) , generating a daily income of about 2.5 Millions, responsibly managed and with huge potential for growth once the Village is hustling with business.

The East Village Hotel.- 4 quadrats purchased just in 2-B1, in the central chapelry of the new Borough, which is planned for construction in a few days, which will in turn realize several dozen millions of added value to the ABC company.

The appraised value of the two holdings, minus the long term mortgage due in a few decades of The Village, leaves a consevative valuation of 500 millions.

The structure for this IPO is the following.

ABC is going to be divided on 50 shares of 10 million moneritos initial value each. The purpose of the operation is to provide to serious investors a way to store his money in a safe asset, dividend bearing and hassle free managed product.

From those 50, 22 are bound to Lord Paulson, and 8 are held by Freeman Tefer, who is going to help me on the periodic shareholder meetings and has contributed with the stipulated amount of moneritos in a private transaction.

The remaining 20 shares are for sale to general public as Senior A series, consisting in just Four slots of 5 shares each, not divisible, at 50 million per package (10 million per stock).

Dividends: This will be paid directly in moneritos to the accounts of the Series A owners once each 10 days (years in this stage of the game, months later, but always 10 RL days)
The guaranteed dividend for this first term will be 0.80% APR, Starting in 1530. Each dividend payment letter will also inform about the projected next dividend for the next term.

To make an example, this first term a Series A owner of 5 shares will receive on 1540 the sum of 4,000,000 moneritos.

Any excess profits will be stored in a public ledger on the corporation webpage/tab for all to see. Its worth to note that, if the IPO is successful, ABC will be debt-free so the potential for new projects, acquisitions and developments that enhance the share value is remarkable. Of course, any major movement will be announced and consulted to every Senior shareholder, although the executive decisions are left for now in the hands of Lord Paulson as CEO.

From now on until Friday at 16:00 GMT, or the sold out of the options, the bidding for the Series A package will be open.

I was just reading again what I posted earlier about the rules of the auction, and in the post it is stated that the bidding starts at 1.81.

After careful consideration (and much eagerness from potential share holders) I have decided to open the newly renamed Roopatra Asenath Quarry Corporation to public shareholders.

After some negotiations we have secured both the top management team and a solid financial backing for the quarry.  I have great confidence in the capability of the new team.  As the initial investor in this quarry I will continue to stay involved, but the actual operations will be handled by Asenath of New Liberty, with Prince Joseph providing any financial backing and cover any cost overruns that may be necessary to get the operations on track.

With the long term prospects of this operation thus secured, I have been persuaded by you good people of the Crypto Kingdom to let everyone take part in what now may be the hottest new investment.  Due to all the interest expressed privately among those that got word this was happening, and in order to give more than just the few people that are online at the time of the IPO a chance to participate, the RAQ will use His Majesties model for gold auctions to issue the initial shares.

The management team is only willing to let go of 160 shares at this time of the IPO, but expects to conduct open market operations afterwards.

Hello my gracious friends. I come hoping that fortune favours you on this fine day, and also bearing news of our online playable version. Rapid progress is being made, and I would like to briefly show off the main city screen -


You will note the quadrat highlighted in the second image - lots are highlighted as you mouse over them, allowing you to select a lot and get information on it (this is currently at a quadrat level at the moment).

More details to come, and as soon as we have a few more pieces in place we'll open it up as a testbed for everyone to mess around and break it before we make the permanent switch over to it.

The Town is Prospering

This year marks the 128th anniversary of the Town of CryptoTown, and also the official date for the town to become self-sufficient from its debts incurred during the first phase of online version development.

Although we are sure that future commitments will burden the town economy, we are equally sure that the robust economy is able to support them.

In anticipation of the great influx of new visitors and players in the following decades, the Town has opened the rest of its land for sale in the 1-NE chapelry. The price has been set rather high to ensure that only the most needing of the nobles are able to buy it, and build their town palaces there. There is some other land for sale in the Old Town also, and the prices are set by the owners, and listed in the CK City Map and Building Registry /LAND REGISTRY tab.

We do not want to discourage the quarry owners, just to remind that the town is at present eager to exercise its option to redeem the lands of any closing quarry for the 150 million as stipulated in the contract. It is becoming public knowledge among the multitude of the NPC office staff (plus of course the workers who see it in their own eyes day after day) that only one quarry has even "hit the stone" yet, but the rumors from those who claim to be able to decipher the secret code say that some of the others are just about to.

All quarries got 1 question (saddam: 2) yesterday, we are able to answer the unused ones starting from 8pm GMT today.

Where can we play this?

On behalf of the Earl, we extend our greatest gratitude to the Prince. The suitable location for these magnificent statues would be our first-floor north-facing balcony above the main entrance (the railing, one on each end, facing the street, the Central Square, and the Royal Palace). This is the balcony that has access doors from 2 of the most exquisite and prestigious 36 sqm embassy halls, and from where the foreign envoys and their interpreters may give speeches to the crowds gathered in the square in front of the Grand Hotel.

It is with inspiring awe that the neighborhood has observed this lot rise from the dust to the skies.

In honor of the magnificence of this structure, its exquisite design, the wondrous deployment of many of our finest stones, and the grand purpose of this edifice to bring within our city walls the dignitaries of foreign commerce, the Prince Joseph of New Liberty commissions the stone cutters to craft a pair of statues that may be placed in good view of its entrance to greet our foreign guests.  That they may know our respect and feel our dignity.



We will gild these each with 100 of our gold in honor of the many record breaking achievements of this structure, and to welcome our new neighbors as a housewarming gift.

The Earl of Soul Embassy Tower opened in 1-C-F10

After a generational hiatus in building to the Old Town, The Marquess of Forte Spagnolo has relinguished his former investment property to development and the person formerly knows as Dr. Choo has taken a keen interest on it.

The Embassy Tower is an important building due to its opening a new era for foreign professional envoys and their permanent offices. The aim is not to diminish the Noble Palace's market share but to grow a new one.

The town records this building makes (maybe others also):

- Tallest building (a full 30 m, in accordance with the new rules and town council permission)
- 6 floors of 3-5 m height, but counts only as 4 floors in taxation, due to the highest being 50 sqm, next-highest 102 sqm and the lower ones 200+ sqm.
- Highest efficiency rating e = 2.54.
- Most expensive building upon construction (about 1.14 billion at stone "ask")
- Highest amount of Extras spent (54 million for metal supporting beams in 6x6 low arch rooms)
- First 1:1 window ratio room, with 36 units of windows in a 36 sqm room. The room is part of the Earl of Soul Reception Suite, which is at elevation 20; 5 m high, and has breathtaking views (no other building save the Tsurugajo Art Gallery and the Donjon has a room this high) to all over the city and beyond, from its rooms and the adjoining 160 sqm roof garden.
- Greatest number of Opulent doors (155) and staircases (68).

Dr. Choo is created Earl of Soul. "We feel the utmost relief and pleasure in being able to elevate our long-term co-worker to the ranks of landed Nobility. Earl Paul of Soul holds the record of longest time without promotion (110 years). He is also the oldest non-magus citizen in the town (167 years).

Since the building is large and there's still space (28 rooms of 16-36 sqm in total), everyone wanting to have a secure and grand office in the best place in town, near the best eating establishments, contact the principal or the facility manager!

It is indeed a marvel!  The skill of the architect is great and wondrous.
Might it benefit from doors leading to the front two gardens or are these not depicted?  The Top floor seems to have a door that leads to a drop of one storey.  Though it may simply be an artifact of the view.

Lord Saddam ponders this painting and marvels at its greatness. Having spent several hours himself designing his castle in 2D, the added dimension pleases Saddam very much.
