Since September 13 that you open this thread bitcoin is still alive and many good news has started coming in.  Don't believe those that said this clash is going to last for long and some of them said that bitcoin is heading toward $1500 we are about to see recovery and buying is the best investment decisions we can make now.

Yes, I see the same sentiments. There are a lot of positive news like the BAKKT offerings next month that might trigger bull runs before the end of the month. So don't believed on others saying that bitcoin will crash because it won't happened and those saying that the end is near is just a pure hater.
I predict the same thing with you, the haters only take advantage of the situation and they expect panic, this is beneficial for them, after that some walls will enter and manipulate the price.

Manipulators are manipulating the market, creating panic in investors/traders, big institutions are waiting to invest, do not give up your coins, hold it, market will be back to track in coming months, banks are doing everything to make this market dead but common people are not understanding the power of blockchain and cryptocurrencies, bull run will resume shortly.
The idea of manipulators in the market is apparently not to scare everyone, but just the weak hands and as long as there will always be weak hands in the market as the market is highly speculative, then, that in its own is a huge problem I must say as manipulators will keep seeing it as a chance when it comes to making a lot of money off the weak ones, so it is left for you as an individual if you want to be in the category of weaklings or not. If you do not want to be in such category, then the best bet is to stop assuming crashes that are not even there and focus on the future.

We know that the market is suffering from big corrections but it doesn’t mean that it is going to crash. In the near future we will see big growth again not like the previous one but with according to the market capital.
You are not the just first one to expect another big growth in near future whereas another big growth is an assured one but may not be in near future. We must give it enough time to consolidate to have another big rally. Markets are known for ups and downs hence, we must take these crash too as part of markets and should not as a big thing.

I think this is the time to hold and not to sell. In my opinion this bad news are launched by some interested groups just because they want to buy now more cheap coins before the price grow. Anyway for this who invest, choose some top coins and not some unknown projects and invest only money that can afford to lose.

If btc is dead,so why you and me talking here about that.I agree that btc is passing a very hard time but it doesn't mean that it's life is in the bottom. In the case of holding or selling,I must hold my coins for the future bubbles.

There is one thing that connects all this newcomers that post about bitcoin and entire crypto crashing, no one shared a single link, a single technical explanation how that can happen. We can sum up all of them, they come here just to spread spam. Most of this newcomers just open couple similar topics and they never participate in discussions. On a side selling or holding, anyone can do what ever anyone wish to do, anyone can freely decide what to do, it has nothing with bitcoin death. It`s opposite, bitcoin is growing, and I believe bitcoin will outlive many future generations.

Every one has their own opinion about crypto currency i do not believe that they are discussing facts and figures i follow many reports and for ICO i just check the icobench reports and in this platform we can read experts opinion i think that crypto is now the world of mouth and the investors and holders of crypto are more than those who were in the past. Bitcoin is not dead it has many phases if the price is going to down still it's good because $6400 is not a bad value of bitcoin and it is not the last of bitcoin.

Even though the market is struggling in the past few months. Cryptos are still showing some greatness once in a while. So i prettu confident that cryptocurrencies will recover in due time.
of course we do not know for sure when the time came. but currently buying crypto is a good step. at a low price will certainly make a bigger profit later, provided we are patient

There are a lot of articles saying that bitcoin is stable now. I want to make a little investment, is it a good time for it?
There is something about making a decision for yourself. One thing I would likely ask you now are these few questions and I guess they should help you in the next step you should be taking;

  • Do you understand what you are investing in as well as its future?
  • Do you understand the risk involved in terms of volatility? Knowing that even if you buy now the likelihood of the market still going down the more in the short term is there.
  • Have you been able to come to terms with these things mentioned above and know that no matter what, you are focusing on the long term and not looking for a quick means to get rich?

Depending on your answers to those questions, I will say this is a good time for you to buy, at least, for the fact that it is a pretty good bargain for the long term, but you need to be truthful with yourself first and know what this space entails as that is the only way you can have it easy without worrying in terms of holding for the long term.

Altcoins and bitcoin price going down not mean it's crash it Means you can buy and hold it this is normal for us in bitcoin's being expensive so start trading until you get profit right now.
Yeah I also think that there is nothing to worry about the crashing of the cryptocurrency. We know that the market is suffering from big corrections but it doesn’t mean that it is going to crash. In the near future we will see big growth again not like the previous one but with according to the market capital. For me $6400 is enough and quite reasonable price for bitcoin.

In achieving profitable price on a certain currency which was active in the trading exchanges, crashes of the price is always been a part of its developing community. We need to look closer to a bigger potential and don't mind those glitches, because you can't appreciate challenges without that.
Crash is always just a way to get some weak hands packing from the market and it does not have anything to do with the general situation of the market as it only becomes a crash if you want to see it as a crash.

A lot of people who whine and complain every day and call doomsday because of some little downtrend are those who do not understand that this is an opportunity for smart people who are real believers and holders to be getting in.The potential for long term growth is there and I wonder why people would want to be focusing on just the short term.

I have been reading many reports in the press that (Bitcoin) Cryptocurrency is dead, does anyone have any ideas why we are witnessing such a crash as is currently taking place, I feel the banks are doing all they can to unsettle prospective users of bitcoin so they retain the monopoly. I am now seeing twitter alive with people giving away coins etc, what are you doing with yours?

Selling Up

Holding On

if you can do a yes or no we can have a little poll for a couple of days

I'm sure, all you see about all the giveaway events on Twitter are scams. today there won't be anyone who will give a giveaway in a fairly easy way. try to act carefully and choose wisely giveawaya like that

no one dies, crypto doesn't die. especially bitcoin. have you seen the price chart from the beginning of bitcoin accepted for transactions? and compare it to the current price. then with coins shared on twitter, you call crypto dead. I think you need to learn more about crypto. Price crashes are currently only to meet pattern support. where every price communication is on the candle.
The price of cryptocurrency is dropping, but it never says that its dying. People should understand the price trend so they will not panic whenever they see a dump trend. Bitcoin will not die of course, only shitcoins will die but never a great one.
The price of cryptocurrency has dropped and it is time to start picking the dropped pieces gradually. Crash in crypto world is most common as per what we have seen in 2014 and now in 2018. But the years 2013 and 2017 have proved that making use of every dip will not disappoint anyone.

A bear market is not the problem, I would say people are the problem and that is simply because the market is extremely speculative which is the reason why it is always pretty easy for the whales to have a better chance as most people in the market are just looking for quick gains and they have no understanding of what the market is like or how it operates and in a little correction like this, they assume it to be a crash, chicken out, market recovers and they come back joining FOMO again. That is pretty dumb if I have to say!

I've read and heard many negative thoughts about cryptocurrency nowadays. This is due to the market crash happening for the past months. But I don't believe it will last. I am very positive for the coming months that everybody will turn back its smile.
This year was totally unpredictable so anytime it will raise and get back to previous value so it is not a good time to predict the future hype. I think next year is the perfect year for cryptocurrency so long term and mid term investors are get good benefits in this trend.

Don't believe on news of that believe on what you see on bitcoin all negative feedback of bitcoin is just a way of many others try to destroyed of faith on cryptocurrency they afraid of the power of it that in the future cryptocurrency will replace fiat currency.
Yeah it is right and that’s why I never believe in news and predictions and anything else. I always believe in the current situation of the market and the current market situation tells that price is almost stable and there is no increase in it, but it doesn’t mean that cryptocurrency is going to disappear from the screen. In the near future the price will go up again because of the high investment capital.

Lol. I don't know what these people are getting everytime they say bitcoin will or is crashing. Obviously there are several more of this fud initiaters and the longer it goes, i think people are starting to just shrug them off. Bitcoin has crashed for as many times as anyone could care but it's still here.
Yes.And until now bitcoin stands strong through its thick and thin.Bitcoin crash is just normal.Of course it will happen since bitcoin has always its fluctiations all the time. But the fact that bitcoin is still here for almost 9 years already,i think its not just a simple digital currency, its where our future relies.
If we look at the history of the initial stages of Bitcoin, it had to face tough penalties and was criticized for its un-certain nature as well as so called spam nature.

However it grew immensely and imparted great values to the portfolios people held. In the current scenario, though the market is down and the element of stability in Bitcoin is low, there is still a growth and expansion in the volume of Bitcoin which is good news and has high chances of giving profits in future.
