I have been reading many reports in the press that (Bitcoin) Cryptocurrency is dead, does anyone have any ideas why we are witnessing such a crash as is currently taking place, I feel the banks are doing all they can to unsettle prospective users of bitcoin so they retain the monopoly. I am now seeing twitter alive with people giving away coins etc, what are you doing with yours?

Selling Up

if you can do a yes or no we can have a little poll for a couple of days
How could you say so? Bitcoin is not yet dead as long as the prices is higher than in 2015 because the only reason for most of us is that they tend to buy it at higher price than buy it before which is so cheap at all. As for now if you bought coins at higher prices then i suggest to hold it all along until you could have actually gain some profit from it, otherwise suffer for your loss.

In achieving profitable price on a certain currency which was active in the trading exchanges, crashes of the price is always been a part of its developing community. We need to look closer to a bigger potential and don't mind those glitches, because you can't appreciate challenges without that.

The market have a new player. Pay attention to the scope of the project. Legal player in the blockchain environment. Legal ICO. And artificial intelligence. I think it's time to prepare for a serious dive. But I hope for the best.

no one dies, crypto doesn't die. especially bitcoin. have you seen the price chart from the beginning of bitcoin accepted for transactions? and compare it to the current price. then with coins shared on twitter, you call crypto dead. I think you need to learn more about crypto. Price crashes are currently only to meet pattern support. where every price communication is on the candle.

Don't believe on news of that believe on what you see on bitcoin all negative feedback of bitcoin is just a way of many others try to destroyed of faith on cryptocurrency they afraid of the power of it that in the future cryptocurrency will replace fiat currency.
Yeah it is right and that’s why I never believe in news and predictions and anything else. I always believe in the current situation of the market and the current market situation tells that price is almost stable and there is no increase in it, but it doesn’t mean that cryptocurrency is going to disappear from the screen. In the near future the price will go up again because of the high investment capital.

Lol. I don't know what these people are getting everytime they say bitcoin will or is crashing. Obviously there are several more of this fud initiaters and the longer it goes, i think people are starting to just shrug them off. Bitcoin has crashed for as many times as anyone could care but it's still here.
I also wonder what these people are doing here in this forum. They are making money from campaigns and also keep negative thoughts for crypto. They understand well that it is not true but they just want to collect different opinions of different people in this forum. If somebody thinks that cryptocurrency is going to crash, he should quit this market.

Sell all coin and exchange it into currency, safety way need to be done in this situation. We don't know when down trend will change into up trend, this long condition make many people see cut loss is realistic decision. We will loss value but we can start new way to make money out side crypto market, I'll take that chance. You?

Say what?  If people are giving away bitcoin, let me know when and where.

People have been saying bitcoin is dead probably since day 2 of its existence.  Don't pay any attention to them.  Right now it's sitting pretty at just about $6500, and that's much higher than what it was in 2015 when I first bought bitcoin.  That's a hell of a gain, although not for me since I didn't buy at that point and hold it like I should have.  Hindsight is 20/20.

Don't mistake bitcoin for the rest of the crypto market.  There are way too many coins on the market, and most of them are destined to be in the Yobit 1-satoshi graveyard in a year or so, maybe sooner.  Nobody is ever going to use shitcoins for anything other than trading, and most of them aren't even going to be useful for that eventually.  In fact, if you take a look at all the coins that are offered on exchanges like Yobit, you'll see that many of them have ZERO buy orders, so even if you held a huge amount of shitcoin X, you'd never be able to sell it, even for 1 satoshi.  They're totally useless.

I do think a crash is coming, but not for bitcoin.  What's going to crash is the ICO market, followed by altcoins.  Once people finally wake up and realize there's no reason to own any of them, they'll sell and the price will tank.  Don't know when that's going to happen, but I'm nearly certain it will eventually.
Those dishearten people give such statements that lose their money due to their wrong and abrupt decisions. I think these news misguide people and there is nothing to be worry about the future of cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency is the future currency and we must admit this fact. All other currencies will disappear from the market but crypto especially bitcoin will be there.

Yes.And until now bitcoin stands strong through its thick and thin.Bitcoin crash is just normal.Of course it will happen since bitcoin has always its fluctiations all the time. But the fact that bitcoin is still here for almost 9 years already,i think its not just a simple digital currency, its where our future relies.

You are true that bitcoin never dies, even it is still good to invest as you said for 2020. There must be an increase in prices again and by the way, I apologize to you for my mistakes then you give my account redtrus

Crash? what crash?

Crash is definitely different with Volatility and Corrections

did BTC dipped with last years lowest? Its no

Some News are funny that don't even know how Crypto's work

Don't fall for it
This is correct, the price is not crashing right now, the price has already crashed and it is very unlikely that the price is going to go down that much anymore, so people should not feel afraid anymore, what we are seeing right now is just the normal volatility of the market and nothing more, so all of those that are worried about the price movements of bitcoin need to get used to this because the volatility of bitcoin is not coin to go down anytime soon.

Cryptocurrency crash is normal because this is apart of price action of crypto, if we look in to history price of Bitcoin since created and tradeable in 2010 the price already going up and down by many percentace, there area periode for bull market, stagnan and bearish market. Now to make profit from this high volatility, we should be have some skill to analysis the trend of crypto price so we will know when its times to entry and exit from the market.

They are just looking at the price of bitcoin.
I suggest not listening to those kind of negativity. It is a fools prediction and no basis at all.

Think of it. How could something be dead when it lives in the in the interner itself.
Go power off your internet and your electricity. That way it is dead. Grin

Its value is still on the roof. In fact it is way too high of an increase for just a year.
Have you sen gold fluctuated this much? Or other commodities?

Crypto market is very unstable where crash and dump are common, a trader will have his own strategy to pass through it. The news is just to make people to be panic and do mistake like selling at a low price. So you have to be confident with your own strategy to be able to get through the bad news that you read through the internet or social media.

I do think that in the long run, at the point that people will get more familiar with cryptocurrency, people will see that bitcoin really isn't the best out there and that bitcoin got to this point simply because it is the first and people only know about bitcoin if they have heard of cryptocurrency at all.
So that being said I geus that in the long run (2-5 years) I don't see bitcoin at the top, I see Ethereum and [insert fast coin made for use as a valuta] in the top, cous thats kinda the 2 reasons blockchain exists, the way Ethereum uses it and the way its being used as a valuta kinda thing.
Good for you! And I hope you have invested in all the altcoins you can today and you have left out bitcoin. I would want to see how that ends up turning out for you in the future. Bitcoin is where it is today because people trust it. The fact that you keep taking about some altcoins overtaking bitcoin, one thing you have to understand is that the only thing you are doing at the moment is to just make the developers richer as they really do not add any value at all.

I simply do not know what is in the future and no one knows, but any smart person, would obviously want to take their bet mostly on bitcoin before even considering any shitcoin at all.
