The market is crashing and you have to keep faith with the market in other to be able to make what other people make in 2017 especially when you buy when it is crashing and be able to hold for long-term.  However you know trading is a game that entail a very serious risk and you have to be able to understand how things work to be able to keep faith with the market.

I have been reading many reports in the press that (Bitcoin) Cryptocurrency is dead, does anyone have any ideas why we are witnessing such a crash as is currently taking place, I feel the banks are doing all they can to unsettle prospective users of bitcoin so they retain the monopoly. I am now seeing twitter alive with people giving away coins etc, what are you doing with yours?

if you can do a yes or no we can have a little poll for a couple of days

Stop your stupid exploration from social media’s and other sites because noob like you are easily to become affected by this kind of news and besides listening to hearsay proves how stupid you are.crypo Currency will remain or stay alive until the day you died dude so stop this nonsense
They will never stop with spreading stupidity. Many times we have seen threads about famous reports about bitcoin end, but still nobody saw them, bitcoin and entire cryptomarket is growing every year. I support your comment Carlisle1, maybe we can stop this spam by criticizing  people who are stupid enough to believe in this stories, I agree with you about one more thing, bitcoin and some other coins will outlive us, I believe in that, its made to last.

We're currently in a bear market, which is not an usual thing in a market.
We've had a long bull run, especially in Q4 2017, a bear market was predictable.
Do not immediately believe what the press tells you, but get your own opinion.
Crypto is not dead.

Good luck!

Heard it many times and Bitcoin just keeps on coming back. I know that Bitcoin will return to its highs and would even go more higher than that.

Ah, can not think about the selling at this point because it doesnt fit to my strategies at all. I am pretty sure that selling can cause loss only and nothing else. The crypto currencies that I am holding are also the long term based projects. For example, A SCOAIL MEDIA platform which can take up huge trials and errors to end up with full working model and thus might just take lot of time to recover itself from the ICO prices. Also one thing is sure about the bitcoin too, it keeps getting higher and higher values every year end so I am also going to analyse what happens this year. If in luck then it could give me decent money too.

don't worry guys, just look at the growth of crypto currencies, whether it is reduced or increased. I see crypto currencies thriving, although many try to ban crypto currencies. this is technology, not goods. so that its growth is needed by the world community. especially in finance. Bitcoin has all the control without a third party monopolizing.
Its funny how media literally saying that they are the corrupt government's dog whose against with the use of cryptocurrency. We are the one who trades and invests on bitcoin and other cryptocurrency that can only say whats with the cryptocurrency status, not those who just sees the red and negative percentage on the cryprocurrencies's price.

That's realistic mindset but most people are afraid because their asset already inside crypto market. Everyone came with their own opinion but we should realize that all only prediction. For me cut loss ( sell all ) coins and exchange it into currency for safety. Maybe you will not agree with me but this is needed to protect my asset from bigger loss.

each time bitcoin experiences a correction there are people who start their propaganda machine to scare newbies into selling their bitcoins because they want to take it from them at a lower price so that they can sell it back to them at a higher price and make profit. that is why you keep seeing so much FUD about bitcoin.

this is not about "cryoptocurrency crash" though. that is a different beast. it is all about the altcoin pumps that we had last year. that bubble had to burst at some point and that "explosion" of bubbles has some aftershock that even hits a big coin like bitcoin.

I’m not surprised that you’re asking such a question. Why? Because you’re still a newbie here. If you were an old member asking such a question a lot of people would have freaked out on you.

Last year, something similar and even worst than this happened and people were saying that it is then end of Bitcoin. You can imagine the news having it that Bitcoin is dead, it was just all over the internet, everywhere you go. A lot of people started to run from Bitcoin, lots of investors withdrew their money and the price continued to fall.

And like that wasn’t enough, China banned ICO, transaction fees became too much, haters started to kick against it. But at the end what happened? It still rose again. That’s also the same thing that’s going to happens this year, this year is even better than what we faced as of last year.

Cryptocurrency crash will end and will change to bull market, all crypto already going down more than 70% include Bitcoin, so this mean all price of crypto already in the bottom and will be have potential to going up. So dont sell for now and keep hold it until reach to the highest price. If you sell now you will loss opportunity to make huge profit later.
Yes, cryptocurrency crash will end this year but will still happen in the future because it normal thing which occur in every business setting. Basically, we are yet to reach the bottom of this year dump in price bdcaus the December holiday usually be the bottom price of every years.

There's a lot of factors to the declining price of bitcoin, but I wouldn't say its dead, if you wanted to see dead coins because of the bearish season then you can look at Ethereum, which is down to almost 90% now. Bitcoin survived because speculators wouldn't want to see it die, simply as that.

Well Central Banks and Governments are really on our heel doing everything at their disposal to stop this revolution. But then again, how they they stop when people everyday are getting into the market?

For bitcoin to continue to flourish, we need some positive news to pour fresh blood into the market. Meanwhile if you are here for the long haul then I advise you to accumulate bitcoin and hold on it at least for the next halving in 2020.

Market can be testing your patience, and trading is not always bad.
when the market falls, you should make a decision to cut loss or wait deeper for buybacks and backups. avoid panic and it is the biggest disease.

i think i will hold. but in ther future if it bad or go down more i will change my opinion.
We must wait for right time, and make decision immediately. For holder i know they do same thing with you. Will wait at end of year, but will take action after good or bad news come, it means we must keep up to date with news.

If you heard that bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are dying or dead it just a theory and I heard this many times every year but until now bitcoin and cryptocurrencies still alive and kicking.

Which coin you are talking about that giving away on the twitter page? I think you are talking about ICO tokens and not a bitcoin? Most likely it's a bounty or twitter campaign who giving away free tokens or ICO.

twitter alive with people giving away coins etc, what are you doing with yours?

For me, holding would be a good option than selling it to cut your loses but it depends on which coin you are trying to hold because new coins are the most likely scam so not a good idea to hold them for a long time except for bitcoin or any top 10 coins listed on CMC.

In my opinion, I do not think we are entering an era where cryptocurrency is in any way close to crushing. There are so many opportunities and it is just  a matter of time before we see them implemented.
