Selling your data means? Our personal data or just game stats?

If it is personal data I won't because you are going to sell your privacy for useless tokens but if it just game data then there is no big task at all, I will.
It should be your gaming experience (gaming stat) i guess if you were playing the game and you will get your own data and this is it. I will never expect a good company wanna try to sell the personal data of its users.
From my above post, I can see that they are going to sell our game in app purchases which means our personal data right? Why they want to get target audience, if the game is really entertaining then people will fall for the in app purchases, so I don't see this trapping technology as a good move.

You don't know that lol! Remember in the past Facebook was in a scandal of selling their users' personal information to a third-party company? We never know what others could do with our personal information so we need to be careful when filling out any information on the internet! We need to find a way to protect us, don't rely on others to protect our information!
One way to protect our data on the internet is not to enter your real name or real address, we must be able to distinguish the virtual world from the real world

Found out about a new project today called Ludena Protocol.
From what I've read its an app in Korea currently with 3 million users thats launching globally soon

Basically you play mobile games like COD, PUBG etc and then get rewarded in tokens, in exchange for them collecting your data and then selling it to publishers.

Does something like this even make sense? Most gamers don't care about cryptocurrency in my opinion, but the fact that 3 million users are currently using the platform that can be easily convereted into DAPP users in the backgorund is kind of appealing.

Anyways, I would appreciate everyones input on whether these two industries should even be combined

The idea behind this is that you allow people to play games and give them tokens in return. Only issue here is I am not sure if you really need crypto for it anymore. I understand it says there are 3 million users but I am not sure how that would help. What kind of data are they collecting? it'll play a big role in how it goes. They'll have to compete with big companies that have billions of users. Gamers will go to whoever is paying them most so I don't think that's an issue as long as they are able to transfer their followers and get more support.

Sure, let me give you an example.

Company A is launching a new game and has a set budget to acquire users. For example they are launching a game with many in-game purchases, and want to target hardcore gamers with a history of in-game purchases. That data is currently held by Google / Apple but is not shared with advertisers. So when Company A is launching their campaign they cannot specifically target the type of users they are looking for.  Ludena Protocol can act as a middleman and direct advertisements to the target audience.

I really have problems paying for games or need to buy in-game items by paying. You know, they require a visa or a credit card, but I'm too young to have them. So I was helpless to buy the item.

Then you need to ask for some approval or help from your parents of from someone who's older than you in order to purchase the
game and enjoy.

If you feel that you are too young to have that, then it's better not to buy a game, especially if the game can't make a profit for you, it's better to trade in the crypto market if you don't feel it is suitable to buy a game, because there are also many crypto markets. tokens and coins that are suitable for you to buy at this time.

Not sure about that, if he's still young and he don't the capabilities, he really need some assistance from older people who can
help him, he will also needs consent once he convert money from his currency.

And this is exactly what we are trying to solve. We think that crypto and gaming go hand in hand which is why we are working on a platform that will target both communities

That's a good start, bringing this idea to reality will definitely a good addition to this industry.

This starts from the intention of each person to invest or just play games in his life. If that is very good for you then do it according to your heart.
True! When we were young, we didn't pay too much attention to earn profit from the money we have. However, once we are adults, we are more likely to think about how our money helps us in creating profits and increasing our assets! It's complicated to say whether to use your money for entertainment is better or to invest. It totally depends on each individual!

There is a reason why people at a certain age do not get credit cards or bank accounts that could create them a lot of debt. When I first got married I was too young as well and I didn't realized the responsibility that would come upon me and I just spent money like I normally did back when I was with my family, however after a while I realized not only I have to spend money to myself but also I have to cover the expenses of the house as well.

When you are a kid you do not understand the concept of debt that much. I am now older and I know the responsibilities I have which is why I do not create debt for the games, I save money up beforehand and with the money I saved I can buy whatever I want, that way I know my financial situation at all times.

I like the part where you get a reward for just playing the game but going to your personal data collection and then selling it, I don't think so. facebook has been previously reported by that kind of idea but maybe they are reported because users didn't know that while working on this project, i think people would agree on it before getting started.
I think there are several ways or methods that can be used for these gamers to be able to get cryptocurrency only by playing games, one of which is a cartesi platform which a few days ago provided the opportunity to play games and could get prizes in the form of cryptocurrency for those who could reach the highest score.

Its not selling perosnal data, its stuff like your purchasing history etc, so for example if you are a user that does alot of in-app purchases than you will recieve more ads regarding purchaes whereas if you are a f2p user you get more ads to like rewarded videos etc.
i think at least.
please correct me if im wrong

Yes and closing the gap between gamers and crypto investors is one our main goals at Ludena Protocol.

You can buy at certain places that have worked together and provide what you provide. not all need a credit card and visa. several crypto game platforms also exist. they certainly don't need that. most importantly you have crypto and you can buy it.
