I think its not new anymore, I played similar games (forget the name though) before wherein you can earn coins for playing. What I dont like about it is there's a minimum amount to be able to withdraw your earnings.

Does something like this even make sense? Most gamers don't care about cryptocurrency in my opinion, but the fact that 3 million users are currently using the platform that can be easily convereted into DAPP users in the backgorund is kind of appealing.
Well it depends on the data and if I still keep myself anonymous because if its a personal info then giving out my details are not worth to risk for tokens that has no assurance in the first place for having a value.

Found out about a new project today called Ludena Protocol.
From what I've read its an app in Korea currently with 3 million users thats launching globally soon

Basically you play mobile games like COD, PUBG etc and then get rewarded in tokens, in exchange for them collecting your data and then selling it to publishers.

Does something like this even make sense? Most gamers don't care about cryptocurrency in my opinion, but the fact that 3 million users are currently using the platform that can be easily convereted into DAPP users in the backgorund is kind of appealing.

Anyways, I would appreciate everyones input on whether these two industries should even be combined

pls where is the link to this website ?? I'm an active pubg and cod player.. id like to read more about this project like their whitepaper etc.... and most gamers dont just want to play games anymore.. they're looking for ways to make money while gaming in the process

This makes a lot of sense. It's a simple idea and it's beneficial for both game makers and players. So, I'm just unsure why these kind of solutions are still not available on the market yet.
it is a great idea which is why it will be on the market very soon
global launch in Q2, already live in Korea with 3 million users

We should not be conformed of this strategy of them. They will sell our identity and they are the one with greater gain. I don't feel that it's beneficial for me even if they will reward me. That's why I'll boycott the kind of service if ever I see one like the given project of op.
Me, as a gamer this is a good incentive to earn if there are platforms like this. But if there's an exchange for your critical information that they have to get, I'd be happy to stop using their service.

Calm down you dont even understand the system so why are you critisizing it

this is the next moonshot

In my opinion, very few successful game projects. however, when a game project is successful, investors and prize hunters get big profits. I think a project like Ludena Protocol might be able to achieve great success in the future, let alone have reached 3 million users.

3 million users using Ludena Protocol? That's a lot consider the total population of Korea is over 50 million. Do they really have 3 million users on their platform or it is just their total player count for games COD, PUBG, etc only? Hard to believe their number as well those game you mentioned already launch so I don't know what kind of date they are collected to be useful for publishers as you said.

Their youtube channel has over 100k subscribers, and they have been in business for over 7 years
In Korea apparently its a very popular app used by many gamers because its easy to earn rewards (ex, play 3 matches of PUBG get $5) etc

so its very popular

If players can actually earn tokens by playing games then its very cool, but the issue is that the reward is usually very very negligible, hence gamers do not even care about it. Nice concept anyway, but i barely know about that project. I'll appreciate if there is a link to the ludena platform.

After searching and reading about Ludena Protocol, it is really sounds too good to be true that you can simply earn cryptocurrency by just playing games. Since gaming industry is continuously expanding because a lot of people love playing games in their mobile phones, it could help this platform to become successful.

yes it sounds too good to be true but it is real, and already available for use in Korea.
over 3 million people in Korea have already downloaded and are using the app, once it goes global there will be hundreds of millions of users

Blockchain is a powerful technology that provides many great solutions in all kinds of industries, including the gaming marketplace. By using this technology, buying and selling in-game items can be fast and secure even without a third-party overseeing the transactions. This will prevent any cases of scamming and other fraudulent activities from happening.

Blockchain Gaming holds the technology to create a universal token that is accepted and traded on many in-game currencies. This creates the possibility to unite and combine the divided gaming markets into one mega-economy. At PlayFuel, transactions done by players even by buying the cheapest game items can be a huge profit margin prospect. Through blockchain, the transactions will happen from the player’s account to the developer’s account instantly.
Games such as Gods Unchained by Fuel Games are changing the traditional methods by allowing gamers to truly own all their gaming assets upon purchase in the game.
Through the use of PlayFuel smart contracts, gamers automatically receive any digital assets that they buy without delay. Since all the data in the blockchain is immutable, developers will not have the power to alter or reverse this process.

Actually I think this project is doing much more than simple integrating of blockchain. Basically going to be working with game publishers to promote cryptocurrencies to gamers, and to promote gaming to cryptocurrency holders. Its a win win for both the gamers and crypto holders

exactly, so when projects like Ludena Protocol finish building their platform, basically with the partners they have now like NCsoft, Blizzard, etc those items will be on blockchain?
If that so, then the project is going to be something big in years to come because we all know that gaming industry is booming nowadays. If they would fully integrate the project in into gaming and venture it to E-Sports then it will be a huge success for them.

I think games are a very expanding industry right now, so it doesn't hurt to do a project like this, but it will help the project grow.
The gaming industry is very popular now, which makes it very popular with many people.

And more people find out now that there is also way for players to earn money while playing games that's why more and more people became interested in gaming world.

I invested in gaming project before but sadly even how good your  plan is ,it will not make your project success . I just wish some one will create a good game that rewarding  players not only rewarding but also attractive and fun to play  that players will want to try it .

Popularity of gaming not only attract  players but athos

This makes sense. Gaming is a more popular industry than cryptocurrency so by riding on the success of the gaming industry crypto can also reach the same level of success!

Yup this is one of the projects I am most excited for in 2020, along with CELO but they serve different purposes. It is nice though to see established companies turn to cryptocurrencies now such as Ludena Protocol moving their successful app to blockchain
